Finally, here's a recap of all class changes that went live in Shadowlands Beta Build 35854.

Death Knight

Baseline

  • Death Coil Death Coil - Reduces the cooldown of Dark Transformation Apocalypse by 1 1.5 sec.

Blood

  • Blood Tap Blood Tap is now a Level 58 talent in place of Ossuary Ossuary, which has become baseline.

Frost

  • Obliterate Obliterate - A brutal attack with both weapons that deals a total of [ 110.4% [ 99.4% of Attack Power ] Physical damage.
  • Cold Heart Cold Heart (Level 56 talent) - Every 2 sec, gain a stack of Cold Heart, causing your next Chains of Ice to deal [ 10% 10.7% of Attack Power ] Frost damage. Stacks up to 20 times.
  • Avalanche Avalanche (Level 60 talent) - Casting Howling Blast with Rime active causes jagged icicles to fall on enemies nearby your target, dealing [ 20% [ 21.4% of Attack Power ] Frost damage.
  • Breath of Sindragosa Breath of Sindragosa (Level 100 talent) - Continuously deal [ 31.3% 33.5% of Attack Power + 31.3% 33.5% of Off-hand Attack Power ] Frost damage every 1 sec to enemies in a cone in front of you, until your Runic Power is exhausted. Deals reduced damage to secondary targets.

Unholy

  • Dark Transformation Dark Transformation Transform your Your ghoul into becomes a powerful undead monstrosity for 15 sec. Granting them 100% energy hulking monstrosity, instantly gaining 100 Energy and the ghoul's empowering their abilities are empowered and take on new functions while for the transformation is active. duration.
  • Summon Gargoyle Summon Gargoyle is now a Level 100 talent.
  • Apocalypse Apocalypse - Bring doom upon forth the enemy, Apocalypse, causing your ghoul to undergo a Dark Transformation and dealing [ 50% of Attack Power ] Shadow damage and to your target, bursting up to 4 Festering Wounds on the target. Wounds. Summons Each Festering Wound burst brings forth an Army of the Dead ghoul for 15 sec for each burst Festering Wound. sec. Summons an Army of the Dead ghoul for 15 sec for each burst Festering Wound. Generates [ 50% of Attack Power ] 2 Runes.
  • Apocalypse Apocalypse (Rank 2) - Apocalypse generates [ 50% of Attack Power ] 2 Runes.
  • Apocalypse Apocalypse added. Apocalypse transforms your ghoul into a powerful hulking monstrosity for 15 sec.
  • Epidemic Epidemic has become baseline (was a Level 90 talent).
  • Unholy Pact Unholy Pact is now a level 90 talent (up from 100). Dark Transformation Apocalypse creates an unholy pact between you and your pet, igniting flaming chains that deal [ 375% 262.5% of Attack Power ] Shadow damage over 15 sec to enemies between you and your pet. While active, your strength is increased by 8%. 5%.

Demon Hunter

Baseline

  • Chaos Nova Chaos Nova
    • Havoc: Unleash an eruption of fel energy, dealing [ 20.48% 22.52% of Attack Power ] Chaos damage and stunning all nearby enemies for 2 sec.  Each enemy stunned by Chaos Nova has a 30% chance to generate a Lesser Soul Fragment.
    • Vengeance/Intial: Unleash an eruption of fel energy, dealing [ 20.48% 22.52% of Attack Power ] Chaos damage and stunning all nearby enemies for 2 sec.
  • Vengeful Retreat Vengeful Retreat
    • HavocRemove all snares and vault away. Nearby enemies take [ 11.93% 13.13% of Attack Power ] Physical damage and have their movement speed reduced by 70% for 3 sec.
    • Prepared: Remove all snares and vault away. Nearby enemies take [ 11.93% [ 13.13% of Attack Power ] Physical damage.
  • Immolation Aura Immolation Aura - Immolation Aura instantly causes [ 24.57% 27.03% of Attack Power ] Fire damage to enemies within 8 yards.
  • Throw Glaive Throw Glaive - Throw a demonic glaive at the target, dealing [ 33.34% 36.68% of Attack Power ] Physical damage. The glaive can ricochet to an additional enemy within 10 yards.
  • Chaos Strike Chaos Strike - Slice your target for [ 90% 95.5% of Attack Power ] Chaos damage. Chaos Strike has a 20% chance to refund 20 Fury.
  • Immolation Aura Immolation Aura
    • Havoc: Engulf yourself in flames, radiating [ 55% 60.5% of Attack Power ] Fire damage over 6 sec.
    • Vengeance: Engulf yourself in flames, radiating [ 55% 60.5% of Attack Power ] Fire damage over 6 sec.
    • Initial: Engulf yourself in flames, radiating [ 55% 60.5% of Attack Power ] Fire damage over 6 sec.
    • Immolation Aura: Engulf yourself in flames, instantly causing [ 24.57% 27.03% of Attack Power ] Fire damage to enemies within 8 yards and radiating [ 55% 60.5% of Attack Power ] Fire damage over 6 sec.
    • Burning Hatred: Engulf yourself in flames, radiating [ 55% 60.5% of Attack Power ] Fire damage over 6 sec.
  • Fel Rush Fel Rush - Rush forward, incinerating anything in your path for [ 23% 25.3% of Attack Power ] Chaos damage.
  • Demon's Bite Demon's Bite - Quickly attack for [ 45.28% 49.81% of Attack Power ] Physical damage.
  • Metamorphosis Metamorphosis - Leap into the air and land with explosive force, dealing [ 32.76% 36.04% of Attack Power ] Chaos damage to enemies within 8 yds, and stunning them for 3 sec. Players are Dazed for 3 sec instead.

Havoc

  • Havoc Demon Hunter Havoc Demon Hunter (Spec Aura) - Periodic damage/healing nerfed from 11% to 0%. Other abilities have been buffed to compensate for the nerf. Increases periodic damage/healing by 11%
  • Chaos Strike Chaos Strike - Slice your target for [ 90% 95.5% of Attack Power ] Chaos damage. Chaos Strike has a 20% chance to refund 20 Fury.
  • Eye Beam Eye Beam - Blasts all enemies in front of you, dealing guaranteed critical strikes for up to ${({?a320,415[{${( 11.25% 12.38% of Attack Power )*10*2}}][{${( 11.25% 12.38% of Attack Power )*10}}])} Chaos damage over 2 sec. Deals reduced damage to secondary targets.
  • Blade Dance Blade Dance
    • Normal: Strike 5 nearby enemies for [ 60% 66% of Attack Power ] Physical damage.
    • First Blood: Strike your primary target for [ 141% 155.1% of Attack Power ] Physical damage and 5 nearby enemies for [ 60% 66% of Attack Power ] Physical damage.
  • Unbound Chaos Unbound Chaos (Level 102 talent) - Activating Immolation Aura will cause your inner demon to slam into nearby enemies at the end of your next Fel Rush, dealing [ 250% 275% of Attack Power ] Chaos damage.
  • Trail of Ruin Trail of Ruin (Level 102 talent) - The final slash of Blade Dance inflicts an additional [ 53.6% 58.96% of Attack Power ] Chaos damage over 4 sec.
  • Essence Break Essence Break (Level 106 talent) - Slash all enemies in front of you for [ 53.7% 59.07% of Attack Power ] Chaos damage, and increase the damage your Chaos Strike and Blade Dance deal to them by 40% for 8 sec.
  • First Blood First Blood (Level 106 talent) - Reduces the Fury cost of Blade Dance by 20 and increases its damage to [ 141% 155.1% of Attack Power ] against the first target struck.
  • Fel Barrage Fel Barrage (Level 110 talent) - Unleash a torrent of Fel energy over 3 sec, inflicting [ 286% 314.6% of Attack Power ] Chaos damage to 8 enemies within 8 yds.

Vengeance

  • Shear Shear - Consuming a Lesser Soul Fragment heals you for 8% 6% of all damage taken in the last 5 sec, minimum 1% of maximum health.
  • Soul Cleave Soul Cleave - Viciously strike 5 enemies in front of you for [ 70.2% of Attack Power ] Physical damage and heal yourself for [ 105% 50% of Attack Power ]. Consumes up to 2 Soul Fragments within 25 yds and heals you for an additional [ 35% 50% of Attack Power ] for each Soul Fragment consumed.
  • Shattered Souls Shattered Souls - The Soul Fragment will be consumed when you approach it, healing you for [ 348.07% of Attack Power ] health. Consuming a Lesser Soul Fragment heals you for 8% 6% of all damage taken in the last 5 sec, minimum 1% of maximum health.
  • Fel Devastation Fel Devastation - Cooldown increased from 45 to 60 seconds.
  • Feast of Souls Feast of Souls (Level 100 talent) - Soul Cleave heals you for an additional [ 67.5% 54% of Attack Power ] over 6 sec.
  • Demonic Demonic (Level 108 talent) - Fel Devastation causes you to enter demon form for 8 6 sec after it finishes dealing damage.

Druid

  • Ironfur Ironfur has been buffed.
    • Balance, Feral, Restoration, Initial: Increases armor by 90% 100% of Agility ] for 7 sec.
    • Guardian-->Increases armor by 90% 100% of Agility ] for 7 sec. Multiple uses of this ability may overlap.
  • Roar of the Protector Roar of the Protector (PvP talent) - Cooldown changed from Instant to 12 seconds. For the next 12 sec, 20% of all damage done to nearby allies if within 10 yds is redirected to you.

Balance/Restoration

  • Innervate Innervate - Has been moved off the global cooldown.  Infuse a friendly healer with energy, allowing them to cast spells without spending mana for 12 10 sec.

Balance

  • Celestial Alignment Celestial Alignment - Celestial bodies align, maintaining both Eclipses and granting 15% critical strike chance haste for 20 sec. Generates 30 Astral Power.

Guardian

  • Berserk Berserk - Go berserk for 15 sec, reducing the cooldowns of Mangle, Thrash, Growl, and Frenzied Regeneration by 50% 75% and the cost of Ironfur by 50%.
  • Berserk Berserk (Rank 2) added. Berserk reduces the cooldowns of Mangle, Thrash, Growl, and Frenzied Regeneration by an additional 25%.

Hunter

Beast Mastery

  • Bestial Wrath Bestial Wrath - Sends you and your pet into a rage, instantly dealing [ 74.9% of Attack Power ] Physical damage to its target, andincreasing all damage you both deal by 25% for 15 sec.

Marksmanship

  • True Aim True Aim Chimaera Shot: Chimaera Shot and Multi-Shot damage increased by 25%.
  • Dead Eye Dead Eye (Level 90 talent) - Kill Shot has 2 charges, and causes Aimed Shot to recharge 50% 60% faster for 3 sec.

  • Expel Harm Expel Harm
    • All Specs, Initial: Expel negative chi from your body, healing for [ 101% 120% of Spell Power ] and dealing 10% of the amount healed as Nature damage to an enemy within 8 yards.
    • Mistweaver: Expel negative chi from your body, healing for [ 101% 120% of Spell Power ] and dealing 10% of the amount healed as Nature damage to an enemy within 8 yards. Draws in the positive chi of all your Healing Spheres to increase the healing of Expel Harm. Up to 3 Healing Spheres are formed nearby, each healing for [ 150% of Attack Power ] when consumed. May be cast during Soothing Mist, and will additionally heal the Soothing Mist target.
  • Way of the Crane Way of the Crane (PvP talent) - Invoke Chi-Ji, the Red Crane, and become immune to movement impairing effects for 25 sec. Chi-Ji kicks up Gusts of Mists with your Physical abilities, healing up to 3 2 allies for [ 126% 0.1% of Attack Spell Power ], and reducing the cost and cast time of your next Enveloping Mist by 33%, stacking 3 times.

Brewmaster

  • Celestial Brew Celestial Brew - Cooldown increased from 30 to 60 seconds. A swig of strong brew that coalesces purified chi escaping your body into a celestial guard, absorbing [ 1,000 600% of Attack Power ] damage.
  • Shuffle Shuffle - Niuzao's teachings allow you to shuffle during combat, increasing the effectiveness of your Stagger by 75%. 100%.
  • Purifying Brew Purifying Brew - Recharge increased from 15 to 20 seconds.
  • Celestial Flames Celestial Flames (Level 100 talent) - Drinking from Brews has a 30% chance to coat the Monk with Celestial Flames for 6 sec, increasing the damage reduction of Breath of Fire by 5%. sec. While Celestial Flames is active, Spinning Crane Kick also causes a applies Breath of Fire on targets. and Breath of Fire reduces the damage affected enemies deal to you by an additional 5%.

Mistweaver

  • Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent - Summons an effigy of Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent for 25 sec. Yu'lon will heal injured allies with Soothing Breath, healing the target and up to 5 2 allies for [ 180% 105% of Spell Power ] over 4 4.5 sec.
  • Touch of Death Touch of Death - Touch of Death increases the Monk's Physical damage by 0 15% for 8 10 sec.
  • Expel Harm Expel Harm - Expel Harm can be cast during Soothing Mist, and additionally heals theMonk and their Soothing Mist target.
  • Mana Tea Mana Tea (Level 45 talent) has been moved off the global cooldown and updated. Reduces the mana cost of your spells by 50% for 12 10 sec.
  • Invoke Chi-Ji, the Red Crane Invoke Chi-Ji, the Red Crane (Level 90 talent) - Cooldown increased from 2 to 3 minutes. Invoke Chi-Ji, the Red Crane, and become immune to movement impairing effects for 25 sec. Chi-Ji kicks up Gusts of Mists with your Physical abilities, healing up to 3 2 allies for [ 126% 0.1% of Attack Spell Power ], and reducing the cost and cast time of your next Enveloping Mist by 33%, stacking 3 times.

Windwalker

  • Touch of Death Touch of Death - Touch of Death increases the Monk's Physical damage by 0 15% for 8 10 sec.
  • Flying Serpent Kick Flying Serpent Kick (Rank 2) added. Reduces the cooldown of Flying Serpent Kick by 5 sec.

Paladin

Baseline

  • Shield of the Righteous Shield of the Righteous - Slams enemies in front of you with your shield, causing [ 50% of Attack Power ] Holy damage, and increasing your Armor by [ 120% 170% of Intellect ] for 4.5 sec.
  • Avenging Wrath Avenging Wrath
    • Holy: Call upon the Light to become an avatar of retribution, increasing your damage, healing, and critical strike chance by 30% for 20 sec. Your first Holy Shock will critically strike.
    • Protection, Initial: Call upon the Light to become an avatar of retribution, increasing your damage, healing, and critical strike chance by 20% for 20 sec. Your first Word of Glory will critically strike.<!--Spec:End--> 
    • RetributionProtection, Retribution, Initial: Call upon the Light to become an avatar of retribution, increasing your damage, healing, and critical strike chance by 20% for 20 sec. Your first Templar's Verdict or Divine Storm will critically strike.
  • Word of Glory Word of Glory ProtectionIf cast on yourself, healing increased by up to 150% 300% based on your missing health. Healing increased by up to 150% 300% based on the target's missing health.

Protection

  • Consecration Consecration (Rank 2) added. Damage taken is reduced by 5% while inside your Consecration.
  • Crusader Strike Crusader Strike (Rank 2) -  Crusader Strike has no mana cost reduced by 80%.
  • Word of Glory Word of Glory (Rank 2) - When you cast Word of Glory on yourself, it is increased by up to 150% 300% based on your missing health.
  • Shining Light Shining Light passive added. Every 5 Shield of the Righteous make your next Word of Glory free

Retribution

  • Crusader Strike Crusader Strike (Rank 2) -  Crusader Strike has no mana cost reduced by 80%.
  • Healing Hands Healing Hands (Level 90 talent) - Word of Glory's healing is increased by up to 200% 100%, based on the target's missing health.

Priest

Baseline

  • Shadow Word: Death Shadow Word: Death - Mana cost changed from 1.2 to 1.6% of Base Mana.
    • Discipline: A word of dark binding that inflicts [ 133% 125% of Spell Power ] Shadow damage to the target. If the target is not killed by Shadow Word: Death, the caster takes damage equal to the damage inflicted upon the target. Damage increased by 175% 150% to targets below 20% health. Does not trigger Atonement.
    • Holy, Shadow, Initial: A word of dark binding that inflicts [ 133% 125% of Spell Power ] Shadow damage to the target. If the target is not killed by Shadow Word: Death, the caster takes damage equal to the damage inflicted upon the target. Does not trigger Atonement. Damage increased by 175% 150% to targets below 20% health.

Discipline

  • Rapture Rapture - Immediately Power Word: Shield your target, and for the next 10 8 sec, Power Word: Shield absorbs an additional 200% and may be cast on targets with Weakened Soul.
  • Discipline Priest Discipline Priest (Spec Aura) - Decreases damage/healing by 19% 25%Decreases damage/healing by 32%: Shadow Word: Death
  • Spirit Shell Spirit Shell (Level 100 talent) - For 12 10 sec, Penance, Power Word: Radiance, and Atonement create absorb shields instead of healing.

Holy

  • Holy Priest Holy Priest (Spec Aura) - Decreases damage/healing by 45%: Shadow Word: Death

Rogue

Assassination

  • Crimson Tempest Crimson Tempest (Level 100 talent) - Finishing move that slashes at all up to 8 enemies within 10 yards, dealing instant damage and causing victims to bleed for additional damage. Lasts longer per combo point.

Outlaw

  • Between the Eyes Between the Eyes - Finishing move that deals damage with your pistol, increasing your critical strike chance and critical strike  damage against the target by 20%.

Subtlety

  • Backstab Backstab - When you are behind your target, Backstab critical strikes now also exposes expose a flaw in their defenses, applying Find Weakness for 6 sec.
  • Eviscerate Eviscerate passive is now Rank 2 - Eviscerate deals an additional 50% damage as Shadow to targets with your Find Weakness active.

Shaman

Baseline

  • Flame Shock Flame Shock - Sears the target with fire, causing [ 19.5% of Spell Power ] Fire damage and then an additional [ 105% 104.4% of Spell Power ] Fire damage over 18 sec.

Elemental

  • Elemental Blast Elemental Blast (Level 15 talent) - Elemental Blast will consume all stacks of Fulmination to deal extra Nature damage to your target. Generates 30 Maelstrom.
  • Static Discharge Static Discharge (Level 15 talent) -  Discharge excess energy from your Lightning Shield, dealing [ 15% 23% of Attack Spell Power ] Nature damage to an enemy within 40 every 0.5 sec for 3 sec.
  • Aftershock Aftershock (Level 30 talent) - Earth Shock has and Earthquake have a 25% chance to refund all Maelstrom spent.
  • Icefury Icefury (Level 90 talent) - Hurls frigid ice at the target, dealing [ 82.5% of Spell Power ] Frost damage and causing your next 4 Frost Shocks to deal 300% increased damage and generate 8 Maelstrom.
  • Ascendance Ascendance (Level 100 talent) - Transform into a Flame Ascendant for 15 sec, replacing Chain Lightning with Lava Beam, removing the cooldown on Lava Burst, and increasing the damage of Lava Burst by an amount equal to your critical strike chance. When you transform into the Flame Ascendant, instantly cast a Lava Burst at all enemies affected by your Flame Shock, and refresh your Flame Shock durations to 18 sec.

Enhancement

  • Maelstrom Weapon Maelstrom Weapon - When you deal damage with a melee weapon, you have a chance to gain Maelstrom Weapon, stacking up to 5 10 times. Each stack of Maelstrom Weapon reduces the cast time of your next damage or healing spell by 20% and increase the damage or healing of your next spell by 20%. A maximum of 5 stacks of Maelstrom Weapon can be consumed at a time.
  • Ascendance Ascendance (Level 100 talent) - Transform into an Air Ascendant for 15 sec, immediately dealing [ 250% of Attack Power ] Nature damage to any enemy within 8 yds, reducing the cooldown and cost of Stormstrike by 66%, and transforming your auto attack and Stormstrike into Wind attacks which bypass armor and have a 30 yd range.

Warlock

Baseline

  • Deathbolt Deathbolt (PvP talent) - Cost changed from 2% of Base Mana to 3 Soul Shards. Launches a bolt of death at the target, dealing 60% 40% of the total remaining damage of your damage over time effects on the target.
  • Rapid Contagion Rapid Contagion new PvP talent added. For the next 15 sec, all of your periodic effects occur 30% more often.

All Specs

  • Howl of Terror Howl of Terror (Level 75 talent) - Cast time changed from 1.5 seconds to Instant.

Affliction

  • Unstable Affliction Unstable Affliction - If dispelled, deals 207% [ 460% of Spell Power ] damage to the dispeller and silences them for 4 sec.
  • Malefic Rapture Malefic Rapture - Your damaging periodic effects erupt on all targets within line of sight, causing [ bc100% of Spell Power ] Shadow damage per effect.

Warrior

Baseline

  • Bloodrage Bloodrage (PvP talent) - You gain 0 40 Rage over 4 sec, and all snares and roots are cleared from you, but at a cost of 0% 5% of your health.

Arms

Rend Rend (Level 45 talent) - Wounds the target, causing [ 32.1% of Attack Power ] Physical damage instantly and an additional [ 133% of Attack Power ] Bleed damage over 15 sec. Increases critical damage you deal to the enemy by 10%.

Protection

  • Vanguard Vanguard - Hardened by battle, your Stamina is increased by 45%, and your armor is increased by 75% 90% of your Strength.
  • Vanguard Vanguard (Rank 2) - Stamina increased by an additional 20%, and armor is increased by an additional 25% 40% of your Strength.

      Seliathan is an Icy Veins Rogue class guide writer, completed several World First Mythic+ clears, including the +20, and he wrote a big piece for Raider.IO, analyzing the M+ gear and the way the Valor Point system will affect it, the flaws in both, and how to improve them. And while Blizzard are removing the 1500 cap on Valor, exactly as the article suggests, there are many more problems and potential solutions presented there. He goes over many topics, including how M+ gearing compares to PvP and raiding, what the actual purpose of M+ is and where it fits in the overall gearing scheme, the lack of other rewards in M+, the need for higher Keystone Master-type achievement tiers and a lot more.       We now have official confirmation that the 1500 held Valor cap has been removed! We recently had an in-depth look at the system and its flaws, and while this particular change will improve it significantly, there's still a lot of issues with Mythic+ gearing, so check out the full article here.

      The Most Popular Team Compositions for Mythic+ in Shadowlands Season 1
      Currently, the most popular team comp with 36,604 runs so far in Season 1 includes a Vengeance Demon Hunter (Tank), Restoration Shaman (Healer), Marksmanship Hunter (DPS), Balance Druid (DPS), and Fire Mage (DPS).
      In 2nd place, we have the exact same team composition, with just one change. The Restoration Shaman (Healer) is replaced with Holy Paladin. The composition has 21,852 runs.
      In 3rd place, we have the same composition, but the Healer got replaced with a Restoration Druid this time around. We've seen this composition in 17,546 runs.
      Based on the data, it is relatively safe to assume that the current Mythic+ meta revolves around a Vengeance Demon Hunter tank, Marksmanship Hunter + Balance Druid + Fire Mage (DPS), with healers rotating between Druid, Shaman, and Paladin.

      One character can hold up to 3 Covenant Callings at a time, which means you should wait until Tuesday (US) or Wednesday (EU) before you complete / turn in any Covenant Callings for extra Valor.

      Blizzard is bringing back Valor in Patch 9.0.5, and the currency is used to upgrade Mythic Dungeon Gear, but what are the upgrade costs?
      The Red Rogue discovered the exact upgrade costs of gear with Valor in Patch 9.0.5 with a few missing slots, but before we go through them, let's talk about how the whole system works.
      Item Ranks and Upgrades
      Every item from dungeons in Patch 9.0.5 is given a rank based on their Item Level, as you can see on the tooltip.

      The items go from Rank 1 (Item Level 184) to Rank 12 (Item Level 220).
      This also applies to Great Vault loot. For example, if you receive Item Level 200 from the weekly chest, it will be of Rank 6/12.

      Base Mythic Gear (Item Level 184) can be upgraded to Item Level 200 without any requirements. All the higher rank upgrades are gated behind various achievements that require you to complete all Shadowlands Season 1 dungeons at Mythic Level 5, 10, and 15 within the time limit.
      In other words, if you want to upgrade Dungeon Gear to Item Level 220, you must complete all 8 Shadowlands Season 1 dungeons at Mythic 15 or above, within the time limit.

      Valor Caps
      You can have a maximum of 8,750 Valor, but the cap starts at 5,000 and increases by 750 each week. Blizzard also said one character could only hold 1,500 Valor at a time, but that may have been scrapped in the end.

      Now that we know more about item ranks and caps, we are looking at how much Valor you will need for upgrades.

      You can upgrade gear by bringing it to Aggressor Zo'dash <Facilitator of Conflict> in Oribos, located in the Enclave of Oribos.
      The upgrade process is straightforward and works just like upgrading PvP or Covenant gear.
      The upgrade costs are different for each slot.
      Off-Hands, Rings, Cloaks, Bracers, Necks cost 250 Valor per upgrade. Shoulders, Gloves, Trinkets, Boots, Belts cost 400 Valor per upgrade. Helms, Chests, Legs cost 475 Valor per upgrade. 1-Handed Agility Weapon costs 500 Valor per upgrade 1-Handed Intellect Weapon costs 750 Valor per upgrade. 2-Handed Weapons cost 1,000 Valor per upgrade. The costs of 1-Handed Strength Weapons and Shields remain unknown for now, but based on PvP Upgrade costs, a 1H Weapon + Shield upgrades together should cost the same amount of Valor per upgrade just like a 2H weapon, so 500 Valor per item per upgrade (needs confirmation).
