Shadowlands 9.1 Season 2 Mythic+ DPS, Tank and Healer Log Rankings, Week 4: Affliction Rising

We've had quite a bit of time in Shadowlands Mythic+ Season 2 so we'll be taking a look at how the tanks and healers are doing in addition to the usual DPS rankings. Speaking of DPS, while it's been a stable week for the top percentages, a lot has changed in the more generalist ones and we see Affliction rise up after taking a big dip after the new patch. +15s also had a big reordering, and Arms is looking good even in dungeons!

Note: The logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.

This past week was Fortified Fortified, Bolstering BolsteringQuaking Quaking (and Tormented Tormented).

All Keys

The top in the 95th percentile is basically the same as last week, but we do see Elemental dropping off a bit as Affliction rises 3 spots to take its place. Feral rises up from its penultimate spot and Destruction falls a few in the lower end of the rankings as well.

The all percentiles chart is where the action is this week, as Subtlety takes over Arcane in the No.1 spot and Affliction rises an insane amount (jumping 7 spots into 3rd) as players seem to have gotten the message the spec is actually still extremely good. All Mage specs dropped one this week, and as one Warlock spec rises, another falls with Demonology losing 5 places to end in the penultimate spot. And finally, Frost DKs seem to be doing better this week, jumping 5 spots.

High Keys

We have an all-Rogue lineup in the +15s as the previous top two are joined by Assassination in its giant leap from the middle of the pack to No.2! Arms continues to laugh at Fury as it's starting to dominate it in Mythic+ as well as in raids (which is most likely connected as many players swap over to Arms for raids and then carry that over into M+ as well). Shadow also jumps up 9 spots to complete the top 5, as Havoc and Windwalker drop quite a bit.

Tanks and Healers

Unlike the raid log rankings, the Mythic+ numbers for tanks and healers are just as relevant as for the DPS, as they are based on points and the number of players completing keys (and not much less relevant stats like HPS and DPS like in raid logs), so it's a much more accurate assessment of the specs. We're also taking a look at the past 2 weeks instead of the 1 for the DPS here.

We almost see an inverse of the classes that have both support roles, as Druids and Monks are at the top for tanks, but at the bottom for healers. The differences at the top for both roles are actually very small, especially for tanks, as all 6 seem to be doing quite well.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides or our extensive Mythic+ guides as well, which have tier lists, dungeon rankings and more.

In their continued effort to remove inappropriate references from the game, Blizzard desexualized two paintings in this week's Patch 9.1.5 Build 40196.
The first in-game painting of a woman was completely replaced with a fruit painting. We compare both paintings below.
      Old 9.1.0 Painting

      New 9.1.5 Painting

The second painting is an update that adds more armor and fidelity.

Blizzard continues to remove inappropriate references from the game. In Patch 9.1.5 alone, they renamed multiple achievements, Mac'Aree to Eredath, and more.
