First Sepulcher of the First Ones 9.2.5 Mythic DPS Log Rankings

Recommended Posts

VBFKKk0.jpg

The new patch has brought some significant class tuning and it is very much showing in this first week of the 9.2.5 Sepulcher. While nothing can quite stand against Destruction in Mythic, there are many changes below it, and some truly massive moves at that, including a new No.1 in Heroic, so let's check it all out!

Mythic

95th Percentile

Destruction is going nowhere, patch or no patch, as it remains on top with a huge lead, but we do see quite a bit of shuffling around below it. Survival is back in 2nd, as Demonology drops down 3 spots into 5th, letting Frost DKs into 3rd. But the biggest mover in the top 5 is Windwalker, as the patch has significantly bumped them up - 4 spaces into 4th, in fact! Marksmanship and Elemental swap places with the Hunters coming out on top, while Unholy also leaps up, 3 spots into 8th. Feral is down 2 in 9th, and to close out the top 10 we have the biggest mover for the patch overall (at least as far as Mythic goes), as Outlaw stages a MASSIVE move from 2nd to last last week right into 10th place, rising an insane 12 spots! Beast Mastery has actually also managed to escape the very bottom, but hasn't gone too far, only rising 3, as Affliction remains dead last, with another Rogue spec joining it, Subtletly being the new down in the dumps yellow class.

All Percentiles

Destro still leads in the generalist bracket as well, but Survival has gained on them quite a bit, as Frost DKs move past Demonology into 3rd. Windwalker sees the same 4-spot jump, this time into 5th, as Marksmanship and Elemental do their swap here as well. Outlaw proves its massive move up isn't just a higher percentile fluke, as we see the Rogues get even higher here, moving "only" 8 spots up, as they weren't doing quite so bad in the generalist bracket before. Arms makes an appearance in the top 10, actually claiming the most improved title here, with a 10 spot jump from their abysmal placement before the patch, and also foreshadowing their Heroic success.

Heroic

We've seen Arms move up a lot in the generalist Mythic bracket, but they absolutely take the cake for most improved here (or so it would seem), rising an insane 14 spots and right into No.1! Demonology only gets bumped down 1, as Outlaw ruins Arms' massive jump with its own comically huge 17-spot move up into 3rd! Survival, Frost DK, Enhancement and Shadow remain stable, if suffering from a bit of whiplash from these fast moving new specs leaping up so quickly, while Havoc takes down Balance and Unholy takes down Marksmanship, as they close out the top 10. Windwalkers may not be doing quite as well as in Mythic, but they have moved from the bottom to the middle of the pack here, leaving Affliction with Assassination and Elemental down in the dumps.

That Rain of Fire is ridiculous. WIth Inferno talent together, they do crazy AOE damage.

long since the Destro is on top of the Charts so well maybe deserved for this time.

The Secrets of the Forbidden Reach patch arrived this week with its new features and class tuning, and the WoW community promptly reacted and got the meme/funny image factory going.
First off we have the flood of Paladins in PvP, as players became resigned to just letting Rets have Solo Shuffle for themselves before Blizzard sped up the upcoming nerfs and made them live immediately.
Blizzard carefully deciding my teammates when I queue Solo Shuffle

      Solo shuffle right now...
      rets are the new hunters

When you play your first arenas in 10.0.7 and a retri paladin one shots you

And this last one didn't quite age well:
      Oh, We are happy!

The new cosmetic coming from the Baine questline has improved role playing possibilities:
I can finally RP ad Shadowlands Baine.
Then we have a very classic WoW experience we've probably all had:
There was also some speculation on what the Incarnates did when they were freed:
What I imagined the Incarnates were doing for all those months being free. What do you think their search history looks like?

A player ran across probably the best guild recruitment message ever:
      Nice

Beast Mastery is also on the same rollercoaster ride that Retribution is on, with it getting good after the patch and then getting some nerfs, but the spec's future is looking good:
