New Class Sets from Aberrus will become available starting tomorrow, so let's have a look at all the how to get them.

How to Obtain Aberrus Class Sets in Patch 10.1?

There are multiple ways of acquiring Aberrus Class sets in Embers of Neltharion.

  1. You can get them from Aberrus raid bosses, who drop class-specific tokens that you can use to create an item appropriate for your class.
  2. Scalecommander Sarkareth drops an omnitoken that you can turn in for 1 set piece.
  3. One Heroic difficulty set piece can be obtained when you earn the Dragonflight Season 2 Master Dragonflight Season 2 Master achievement.
  4. Tier Set pieces can be found in the Great Vault.
  5. You can convert Season 2 gear into Tier Set pieces with the Revival Catalyst starting on June 13.
  6. Weekly Bonus Event Quests that reward raid chests have a chance to contain a set piece.

Aberrus Raid Bosses

  • Drop class-specific tokens shared between multiple classes.
  • They start dropping from the third boss onward.

The Great Vault

Aberrus Class Sets have a chance to appear in the Great Vault. In Patch 10.1, Blizzard made a great adjustment in the Raids category. Killing a boss will give you a chance at all of the previous bosses' loot. so if you get invited to kill Sarkareth, you will have the loot from the entire raid in your vault pool for the raid slots.

The Revival Catalyst

  • The Revival Catalyst will activate on June 13, 2023, when all your characters will receive their first Catalyst charge.
  • Catalyst charges are automatically accrued and you do not need to complete any quests or tasks to unlock them.
  • Only Season 2 gear can be converted.

Aberrus Class Sets from Weekly Bonus Event Quests

Pay close attention to the calendar and check for weekly event quests that reward a Normal or Heroic Aberrus cache, which can contain a set piece.

Patch 10.1 adds a ton of ways of getting your class set completed in no time!

One of the Trading Post activities this month requires players to kill the Lich King for Tender and one lucky player went to Icecrown Citadel and looted Invincible's Reins!
Title Description Travel Points Defeat the Lich King   Kill the Lich King in the Icecrown Citadel.   50 50 Tender convinced naturzaros to visit Icecrown Citadel and kill the Lich King who was very generous in return and dropped Invincible's Reins.

The axe-wielding, tree-burning dragon has a sense of humor, as he will laugh at anyone that dies to his fire during the raid encounter (and you get an achievement if you didn't get it before!
The Still Standing in the Fire achievement came along with patch 10.1 and Fyrakk Assaults. It was a little tricky to get as you had to find where to stand and die to the fire, which didn't really 1-shot you. Luckily with 10.2, it got a whole lot easier (well, for raiders anyway). The achievement is named after the original, where Deathwing had to kill you either during the Dragon Soul raid or when he was breathing all over Azeroth.
As spotted by ah_kooky_kat, dying to Fyrakk in the raid also triggers the achievement, and he still laughs at you!

The very old-school WeakAura in the screenshot also got a lot of attention the the thread below.

Players on live servers are currently experiencing a bug with negative Tender.
The Trading Post is currently experiencing some issues on live servers with December's updated rotation, as players are reporting negative Tender when checking this month's wares.
While we are not sure what is causing the bug, we've seen many reports of players being rewarded surplus Tender that is removed upon relogging to the game.

Many players are finding it confusing to acquire the Aberrus Raid Finder/Normal set appearances for transmogrification in Patch 10.2. This post is designed to clarify that process.
Currently, the only way to get Aberrus Normal, Heroic, or Mythic set appearances is to run the raid, user50010892 explains on Reddit.
The player catalyzed gear from Dreamsurges and Time Rifts and came to the following conclusion:
8/8 Adventurer Gear from Dreamsurges (item level 450) gave the Aberrus Raid Finder appearance when catalyzed. 8/8 Explorer Gear from Dreamsurges (item level 437 gave the Aberrus Raid Finder appearance when catalyzed 8/8 Adventurer Gear from Time Rifts (item level 450) provided the Aberrus Raid Finder appearance when catalyzed.
