wow Dragonflight 10.2 Raid DPS Logs and Rankings for Amirdrassil: Day 1

It's time to take a peek at what's going on in Amirdrassil, as both NA and EU guilds have had a chance to have at least a full day's raiding in there. We're looking at Heroic and Normal, as Mythic has only had 4 kills and only a handful of guilds even touched anything in there. Also, there are very few Fyrakk kills on Heroic, so the numbers there aren't exactly balanced there either.

Remember these are VERY PRELIMINARY numbers and we'll be back for some more consistent ones.

Heroic

Overall Damage 95th Percentile

Right from the start we see literally everything has changed since 10.1.7 and Aberrus, but we do have a pretty big caveat with the No.1 spot. Beast Mastery might remain on top in the future, but it won't be by as much, as the reason it's so high was a mistake linking pet dps to weapon power - which was actually kept in permanently, but some abilities got nerfed. You can read the details in the hotfix notes here. Assassination didn't get any nerfs since the patch, however, and it's destroying everyone else, with the rest of the pack actually pretty close together. The former top dogs have fallen off at varying degrees, with Augmentation finding itself in the bottom 3, Unholy actually doing fairly ok right at the end of the top 10, and Frost DK is down in the bottom half.

Overall Damage All Percentiles

The top 3 are the same here but we see Arms break through a lot higher, just ahead of Havoc. Balance is also higher, pushing past the other two Rogue specs, and Unholy held on better here as well.

Boss Only Damage All Percentiles

The boss damage chart is a lot more stable, as Assassination was always around the top, moving only 1 spot up since Aberrus. BM is new, of course, and Arms moved up 4 spots post-patch and in the new raid environment, with Unholy holding on pretty well too.

Normal

Overall Damage All Percentiles

Normal is where we look for consistency, as there are many logs ready there, with hundreds of guilds already finishing it all up, including Fyrakk. It pretty much confirms the BM-Assa-Demo trio at the top, with the big difference from Heroic being Arcane pushing up much higher, which isn't surprising as the spec loves shorter fights.

I don't understand how Subtlety Rogue can be as high on the list as it is. Assassination and Outlaw make sense, to a degree for Outlaw, but Subtlety?
