Gear Changepoints

Hello fellow mateys!

I've been raiding past expac and chunked in some good N gear. Now that I'm leveling my lovely Rogue, I'm being faced with the new items and now I'm in doubt of when to change what. I took teh risk on doing few pieces by myself, but currently I'm unsure of what to use or if I should give up on certain pieces, given that we have a lot more of secondary stats and it's too damn early to set up for weights, plus most gear currently being greens.

Currently I'm running on Sub, and still using my T16 raid gear, due to a bunch of slots and stats (agi > mast). Do you guys have any suggestions of what to change? Feels so strange giving up on slots to equip something just because of higher iLevel.

Thanks!

Edit:

Her face, if anything.

Higher ilevel items give more Agi, which means that it's more than likely an upgrade for you. The other benefit to replacing all of your SoO gear once you hit 100 is that you'll have the item level to run Heroics - you need to get 610, which means that all of the precious epics have to go. Also, AoC got WAY nerfed after level 90, so replacing that asap is a really good idea

The following graph for Stat Weights is taken from the mmo-c thread where Ryme did all his SimCraft work.

As you can see, Agi is far and away the most valuable stat for all Rogues, with weapon DPS following closely behind.Other than that, Mastery and Multistrike have approximately equal value, with Crit and Versatility being our next best options. Haste takes up last place now, which is kind of irritating and makes Rogue feel very slow, but that should improve with a little more gear

Carrn, thanks for your input!

About AoC, how did it get nerfed? Because I'm failing to see it. It still gives a hefty amount of Agi and the CD on skill still applies (I get like 45s on SD).

All my current gear pulls ahead on Agi numbers (due to slots), but in the end I'll be forced to item switch due to iLvl needs...

Edit:

Also, is anyone PvEing as Sub here? Could you give me inputs about how well you're faring? Given teh buffs to Sub's positional requirements, I feel it's quite a strong spec to raid now.

Sub is a great spec to raid now, and I'm SUPER excited for it. I really dislike both other specs, and have since Vanilla, so I'm really pleased at how well Sub is doing in a dungeon / raid environment.

The only thing is that I'd recommend levelling as Combat or Assassination - it's just a little easier, and cause mobs die so quickly, you don't really get to practice your rotation as Sub

AoC just has reduced effects at level 91+; it might show you that it still has the same effect, but its effectiveness is reduced. Also, there are a lot of better trinkets that you can get in Nagrand. That being said, I didn't replace any of my gear until level 98 ish, but it was all gone by 100

So, I'm currently maining Blood DK and that's the spec that I've gotten my 4 legends on. I do occasionally use UH and was wondering which of my legends would be most effective for it. Just a foreword, all of the gear that the legends replace is about equal; all 915-920 and don't cause any major stat changes so its not like using one legend over another causes me to use a bad piece. I have Soul of the Deathlord, which is the one I use most on UH, and I have  Shackles of Bryndaor, Archimonde's Hatred Reborn, and Prydaz, Xavaric's Magnum Opus. Does the Shackles passive work on UH, if so, could that be a better boost for Val'kyr[Dark Arbiter Talent] (b/c you can cycle more RP)? Other than that I'm just wondering which out weighs the other, STR or the secondaries?
Edit: and just in case it makes a difference, my talent build is; http://www.wowhead.com/talent-calc/death-knight/unholy/c75z

I figured I'd do a Part 2 of this since I've managed to move from having never tanked before to now I can't get enough of it.
I've noticed a few things and wanted as much input as I can get. What has struck me so far is the lack of healers running PUGs at the lvl 60-ish area. It takes forever to get a PUG group together and I haven't been able to keep a healer with us more than 1 run through. I've made some DPS friends through PUGs which is pretty cool, but what is up with the healers???
The second thing is how my damage relates to a few other classes at about the same level. I'm currently lvl 67. I'm able to hold aggro nearly most of the time. I have some PUG members than have a pet with taunt or something but for the most part I am good to go. What I will see are Death Knights and some Warlock/Mages that seem to be doing crazy damage while only being a level or 2 higher than I am. Is that normal or am I undergeared? I haven't quite downloaded a damage meter just yet but from watching the health bar on the enemies I've noticed that those 2 can do some big damage by themselves! So is it a gear issue with me, is it just the nature of their class at that level or are they over-geared with extra goodies figuring their main has helped pay for their current state of their equipment? And with that, any recommendations or just hang in there until I get much higher level when better equipment appears? I have Heirloom for my chest, back, shoulders, weapon and trinkets. I haven't really found any quest gear or dungeon drops that is better that what I have now.
I can't say Thank You enough to everybody that posted advice and encouragement in my first thread. It was very helpful and I've taken a lot of it to heart and put it to work. I have had so much fun doing this...as like most things in life you are leery of...once you try it you only regret NOT doing it sooner.

Hey there, looking for some common mistakes I might be making in my gear or dps rotation that I am just not seeing. You'd think it would be pretty basic but my dps has been all over the place recently.

I will be fighting kiljaeden (pretty standard) and have anywhere from 650-850dps average for the fight. It's gotten me kicked a couple times obviously despite being good on mechanics. I've reviewed several guides, made sure I am enchanted and gemmed... cannot figure it out. What am I doing wrong? (Yes low on meters for other fights as well though not always).

924 iLevel, wearing legendary belt and chest (dont have tier to wear shoulders and chest)

      67% Mastery (issue?)
      24% Critical Strike
      29% Haste

Opener: Blood Fury, Tome (trinket), Crow, Bestial Wrath, Dire Frenzy, KC, AspectotW, Titan's Thunder, CS, KC, DF...

Repeat KC, CS, And cast DF whenever buff falls off or procs bonus.

      Talent Build is:
      Cobra
      Frenzy
      Posthaste
      Bestial
      Int
      Crow
      Killer Cobra

      Helps, tips, advice welcome.

Are there common mistakes to rotation i might be making even if u dont see it here? Should i be working hard to gear swap? I am at a loss and it is getting frustrating. Thanks

I created a guide for Crafting in Legion. It was posted on Wowhead a few days ago. You can check it out here. http://www.wowhead.com/guide=5282. Let me know what you think of it.
