The beloved Moogle Treasure Trove event makes its return in October! Hunt for Goetia and get your Donut Earring, Gwiber Trumpet, and more!
While the wait for patch 7.1 in Mid-November may feel long, you will have plenty of activities to do with the New Moogle Treasure Trove Event!
The Moogle Treasure Trove: Hunt for Goetia, will start on Tuesday October 15th, 2024 at 8:00 GMT (19:00 AEDT) to the release of Patch 7.1 scheduled for mid-November.
During the event, you will be able to collect Goetia Tomestones by completing specific duties and activites, and exchange them for rare and exclusive items, such as the Donut Earring, Innocent Gwiber Mount, Hades Barding, Hairstyles, Emotes, other various mounts, minions, and much more!
This event is a great opportunity for all players to enjoy various content and activities you usually don't dedicate too much time to.
During the event, you will have access to your Mogpendium:
The Mogpendium has all the details needed for collecting Tomestones. Instead of merely having several types of dungeons to farm, you will have multiple ways to obtain the Goetia Tomestones:
Standard Objectives: this is the regular way of earning Tomestones. Simply complete the required duties (which will feature a moogle icon in the duty finder). Additionally, you can now also get tomestones from GATEs (the Gold Saucer events) and Ocean Fishing routes. However, keep in mind that Tomestones are not rewarded when using adventurer squadrons or duty support, as the Level Sync option must be used for unrestricted parties. You will also need to score at least 1200 points when ocean fishing to earn Tomestones. Weekly Objectives: Weekly objectives will be assigned to each player, and updated every Tuesday at 8:00am (GMT). You can check your weekly objectives through the Mogpendium, and completing them will earn you additional Tomestones. Minimog Challenges: You will have to select one of two objectives, which can only be fulfilled once every week. It's a way to complete a variety of challenges during the event that you wouldn't normally do. Minimog challenges will also reset on Tuesday at 08:00 am (GMT). Ultimog Challenges: These challenges can only be completed once during the duration of the event. They will give you a significant amount of tomestones, so it is worth trying your luck! You can check the Mogpendium at any given time during the event. Standard Objective rewards are automatically added to your inventory when you complete the duties, while the Weekly, Minimog and Ultimog Challenges will have to be claimed through the Mogpendium.
Once you have enough Tomestones, head to the usual Itinerant Moogle to exchange them for rewards! You can find one near the main Crystal in each of the starting cities: Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks, New Gridania, and Ul’dah Steps of Nald.
For more information, and the complete list of rewards you can obtain, visit the Official Moogle Treasure Trove: The Hunt for Goetia Website.
Moreover, should you need some help with your hunts, check out our Moogle Treasure Trove Event Guide, where you can find specific routes or duties to farm, as well as the most efficient ways to do so!

With the new Chaotic Alliance Raids, players have started to speculate about how other bosses will appear in their chaotic forms. One particular boss stands out!
Chaotic Alliance Raids have finally been announced, and the first one will feature the Cloud of Darkness Boss. This news has players excited about the new battle content, but some are also apprehensive about what future chaotic raids might entail.
Many players are still haunted by a particular boss from the past. The Ridorana Lighthouse, part of the Return to Ivalice level 70 Alliance Raid from Stormblood, includes a boss that requires players to use math to survive the fight.
Construct 7 is a boss that continues to challenge groups because the math involved in one of its mechanics is often misunderstood. At a certain point, players must calculate their health value and step into the correct circle to obtain the required value:
Divide by Four: Stand in a circle so that your current health plus the circle’s value is divisible by four. Divide by Five: Stand in a circle so that your current health plus the circle’s value is divisible by five. Divide by Three: Stand in a circle so that your current health plus the circle’s value is divisible by three. Indivisible: Stand in a circle so that your current health plus the circle’s value is a prime number. While it does not seem complicated, the reality is that you have very little time to figure it out, which can lead to complications. Players have speculated about the math for future chaotic versions of this raid, ranging from basic math, to more complex equations:
What boss are you expecting the most for the new Alliance Chaotic raids?
