Isn't the 2x sludge bleacher not in the deck? Because the additions say 1x hammer of wrath, 1x blessing of kings for 2x sludge bleachers......

It's called Sludge Belcher and please, try to understand the sentence:

You should remove 1x BoK and 1x HoW FOR 2x Sludge. --> (add 2 Sludge, not drop)

Hey! N00b player here. Thanks for this thread, man. My Paladin deck was getting crushed until I saw this thread. It's improved my Paladin skills immensely. Still learning more basic strategies, but I feel more prepared after reading this. Thanks for the free education.

Keep up the good work. I built this deck to complete a daily quest and my god I won 12 straight games in a row. It's a slow deck with no taunts so your hero gets attacked a lot. But the opponents son run out of cards to play and the stormwind and frost wolf are perfect finishers. Thanks a lot for all these threads. They've helped me a lot.

And I recently unlocked BRM so are there any card swaps which I can do in this deck? Coz I see you've mentioned card swaps for the naxx set but not BRM. Anyways thanks again and keep posting new guides!

Getting my board wiped every single turn with this deck, every game.

0/10

It's not the deck's fault if you overextend.

Hi, thank you for all the great basic decks, could you also include possible substitutions for the G&G expansion packs please? That would be amazing.

Hmm. I had a real hard time with this deck getting rid of a huge minion in a Priest Dragon deck. I'ver done the Naxx suggestions, so only have 1 BoK now. Any advice? I know Equality would be good, but I don't have it.

If you are having consistent problems with big cards, you can include a Humility, even though it's not recommended in the guide.

Very new to this game (one week playing).  This deck worked fine.  It took a little bit to figure out how to use - you need to be patient and not randomly throw cards out there.  Try to save as many cards back as you can - use your hero power instead and be smart about attacking their minions. Usually they will empty their hand and you will still have 5 or so cards left, then you lower the boom.

Went 9-1 on Unranked today. And so far going 9-6 on Ranked. Awesome deck. Had a lot of fun pushing two expensive decks (rares and epics galore) to the brink the other day, losing 0-3 and 0-1 respectively. Don't get me wrong, this deck can and have won against the more expensive decks. Just mentioning the two cause they were really fun.

You're PRIEST deck is also very effective. The mate deck, not so much. Getting my arse kicked left and right. The meta game against Mage have move forwards I suppose.

#only change to the deck: Swapped one Murlock with Argent Protector.

Take out the Frostwolfs, you'll curve out a little quicker and should be able to swarm people a bit faster. You're right, Murloc Knight is an insane card!

Hi! it's been a long time after LoE release, will there be some update of basic decks like that, for example what about Keeper of Uldaman? And what about other classes' basic decks?)

Hi! Excellent deck, I win a lot of matches with it. I have just completed Naxx and LoE, so I did the recommended Naxx-cardswaps. What other swaps would you recommend with acces to the LoE cards?

Dave Kosak introduces us to the Monster Hunt, which will be available in a week.
The Lead Mission Designer was joined by two of his associates to discuss the newest PvE mode, which will come along with The Witchwood. Paul Nguyen talked about the four heroes. Tess Greymane has a Hero Power that lets her Discover any class card that has been played in a game (by both players) and add it to your hand.
Darius Crowley has an indestructible cannon minion that can be activated via Darius' Hero Power and fire at the minions across it. Positioning will matter, as you can kill two enemy minions at once and the Hero Power will refresh each time you kill a minion with your cannon. There weren't any details on Houndmaster Shaw or Toki, Time-Tinker, but it was hinted that the former hero will have something to do with Rush (just like its card counterpart).
Giovanni Scarpati discussed bosses and treasures. The Monster Hunt will feature over 45 unique boss encounters. As Ben Brode had revealed in an earlier interview, each hero will have its own final boss, called "nemesis fight". For Crowley it's Lord Godfrey, for Shaw it's Glinda Crowskin and for Toki it's her own future self! When you clear the Monster Hunt with all four heroes (and win four packs), you get to face Hagatha as the last boss. Ultimately, as far as the treasures are concerned, there are a few returning ones from the Dungeon Run, but most are new. There are also hero exclusive treasures, as well as unique treasures "dropping" from rare boss encounters.
You should definitely watch the video to get a glimpse of all the new stuff coming with the Monster Hunt. And don't forget: it's release date is April 26 at 10:00 am PDT!

      Ready for Action
If you played the Dungeon Run in Kobolds & Catacombs, the Monster Hunt will be eerily familiar—but much is different! Rather than choosing one of Hearthstone’s nine classes, you’ll take on the role of one of four veteran monster hunters, each with a special ability that you’ll need to make the most of if you hope to survive the hunt.
Your hunter will venture deep into the Witchwood on Hagatha’s trail, defeating a series of monstrous bosses who dare to cross your path. With each victory, you’ll build a stronger and stronger deck with the items you find. You may encounter some trusty old equipment out in the forest, but much of what you’ll find will be entirely new, including treasures unique to certain foes. Each monster hunter has their own favorite tricks—a special hero power or ability that you’ll need to master if you hope to survive the hunt. Each hunter also carries a grudge against a heinous nemesis in the woods: a unique boss that only they can track down to fight.

You’ll want to go on a Monster Hunt with every hunter, because each offers a quest that will earn you a Witchwood card pack. And if you’ve got the mettle to complete the Monster Hunt with all four hunters, you’ll finally have a chance to face off with the real witch in the woods: Hagatha! If you can free the wood from Hagatha’s curse, you’ll earn the gratitude of Gilneas and the Monster Hunter card back!

We hope you enjoyed learning more of what lurks ahead in Monster Hunt! We’re eager to hear your tales of The Witchwood on social media using the #Witchwood hashtag. Learn more about The Witchwood at TheWitchwood.com!
We’ll see you on the hunt!
