Knights, Mechanics, and Recommended Teams
Here is a breakdown of all three Knights, as well as recommended teams and best tips to get the maximum stars!
Knight I Stage Breakdown & Team Compositions
Ally targets initially obtain 2 stack(s) of this effect, with each stack decreasing their own DMG by 10%. This effect cannot be dispelled, and 1 stack is removed after each Ultimate used.
| Wave 1 - Enemy Type | Weaknesses |
|---|---|
| Autonomous Wand x6 | Physical Imaginary |
| Daybreak Squadron: Azurewing x2 | Physical Fire Imaginary |
| Aggressive Reading Material x6 | Physical Fire Imaginary |
| Rocking Rebel x2 | Physical Fire Imaginary |
Recommended Team Compositions
Knight I debuff primarily affects characters who cannot gain energy quickly to cast their ultimates. This stage consists of many smaller targets while dealing with minibosses, so we recommend teams that are suiting for this enviorment.
See below for recommended team setups for Knight 1:
| Main DPS | Support / DPS | Support | Sustain |
|---|---|---|---|
| Firefly | The Dahlia | Fugue | Lingsha |
| Hysilens | Kafka | Black Swan | Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae |
| Sparxie | Yao Guang | Sparkle | Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae |
| Phainon | Cyrene | Cerydra | Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae |
Knight II Stage Breakdown & Team Compositions
When entering combat, reduces ally target's Energy by 50% and decreases their Energy Regeneration Rate by 50% outside of their turn for 2 turn(s).
Enemy target takes immediate action after being attacked 5 time(s). This tally resets at the start of the enemy target's turn.
| Wave 1 - Enemy Type | Weaknesses |
|---|---|
| Black Tide's Champion | Physical Lightning Wind |
| Dark Sun Gryphon | Physical Fire Quantum |
| Wave 2 - Enemy Type | Weaknesses |
| Pollux, Netherwing Husk, Ferry of Souls | Ice Lightning Quantum |
Recommended Team Compositions
Knight II has a debuff that reduces the energy regeneration of ultimates, as well a debuff that allows the enemies to deal extra damage when they are struck. DPS units that Utilize non-energy ultimates are great here. As usual with Pollux, Hyacine is a premier option here for survivability, despite the energy debuff working against her. If you don't have Hyacine, make sure to bring a sustain who can keep you alive through the Overload state. Some options would be HuoHuo or Luocha.
See below for recommended team setups for Knight 2:
| Main DPS | Support / DPS | Support | Sustain |
|---|---|---|---|
| Castorice | Evernight | Cyrene | Hyacine |
| Evernight | Cyrene | Remembrance Trailblazer | Hyacine |
| Mydei | Cyrene | Remembrance Trailblazer | Hyacine |
| The Herta | Anaxa | Tribbie | Hyacine |
Knight III Stage Breakdown & Team Compositions
After the enemy target uses an attack, randomly causes 5% or 10% action delay to the attacked target.
| Wave 1 - Enemy Type | Weaknesses |
|---|---|
| Furiae Warrior | Lightning Quantum Imaginary |
| Black Tide's Corroded Axe | Physical Ice Quantum |
| Furiae Archer | Ice Lightning Quantum |
| Mirage Fizzle Kid | Fire Lightning |
| Wave 2 - Enemy Type | Weaknesses |
| First Genius, Entelechy, Zandar | Physical Ice Wind |
Recommended Team Compositions
Knight III sees the return of the interference debuff, which is a huge pain when combined with number of adds present in this encounter. Clearing this stage will rely heavily on units who can quickly kill the adds and activate Lygus's form switch mechanic, while surviving through the onslaught of incoming Black Tide attacks and action delay.
See below for recommended team setups for Knight 3:
| Main DPS | Support / DPS | Support | Sustain |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ashveil | Remembrance Trailblazer | Tribbie | Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae |
| Black Swan | Hysilens | Kafka | Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae |
| Phainon | Sunday | Cerydra | Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae |
| Castorice | Evernight | Cyrene | Hyacine |
King in Check Enemy Breakdown & Team Compositions
King in Check is the main boss of the Anomaly Arbitration gamemode. Defeating the King provides a limited avatar frame depending on the number of stars you earn. Clearing the Plight version of the king will grant you the highest tier of avatar frame, but is incredibly difficult and only recommended for players with extremely high eidolon investments.
Knights, Mechanics, and Recommended Teams
Here is a breakdown of the King stage, as well as recommended teams and best tips to get the maximum stars.
King in Check Clear Requirements
In order to clear the King in Check Stage, you need to defeat the boss within the 6 provided cycles for a 1 star clear. However, for every 2 cycles left when your clear, you can earn a higher star count and a higher tier of avatar frame. If you manage to clear the King in the first cycle, you can unlock a rarer avatar frame.
| Star Target | Criteria |
|---|---|
| 1 Stars | Achieve victory in no more then 6 Cycles |
| 2 Stars | Achieve victory in no more then 4 Cycles |
| 3 Stars | Achieve victory in no more then 2 Cycles |
King in Check has the following debuffs:
When ally targets are being attacked by enemies, the "Sunder" effect will be inflicted on them. Each stack additionally causes the holder to lose HP equal to 0.8% of their Max HP. This effect can be stacked indefinitely and cannot be dissipated. After targets with "Sunder" received a Shield from an ally target other than themselves or healing, all "Sunder" effects are dispelled on both targets.
After the enemy target uses an attack, randomly causes 5% or 10% action delay to the attacked target.
Ally targets initially obtain 2 stack(s) of this effect, with each stack decreasing their own DMG by 10%. This effect cannot be dispelled, and 1 stack is removed after each Ultimate used.
| Wave 1 - Enemy Type | Weaknesses |
|---|---|
| SD Civilian Mechatron x4 | Physical Fire Lightning |
| Lady of Crashing Waves | Physical Fire Lightning |
| Wave 2 - Enemy Type | Weaknesses |
| Alloy Mechatron: King Pom-Pom | Fire Lightning Imaginary |
Recommended Team Compositions
King in Check has the following buffs available which can be used alongside your team.
Increases Elation for all allies by 40%. When an Aha Instant ends, all ally characters regenerate 10% Energy.
After an enemy target is hit by an ally's Follow-Up ATK, DMG taken by them increases by 15% for 2 turn(s). This effect can stack up to 4 time(s).
Increases all ally targets' DMG dealt by 40% and increases ally's Alloy Pommy's SPD by 50%.
Recommended Team Compositions
This King is not very tanky on paper but has a mechanic that reduces the amount of damage he takes. To break King Pom-Pom out of this state, you need to use the little Pommy's enhanced attack to strip stacks of the buff from the King. You can charge the enhanced attack faster by killing the Pommy adds that the king spawns, or by using Aha Instants with an Elation team.

King in Check:Plight Clear Requirements
In order to clear the King in Check:Plight Stage, you need to defeat the boss within the 2 provided cycles for a full star clear. Unlike the King in Check stage, there are no 1 or 2 star clear conditions. Clearing this version of the stage will grant you the highest rarity of avatar frame.
| Star Target | Criteria |
|---|---|
| 3 Stars | Achieve victory in no more then 2 Cycles |
