Pure Fiction Stage 4 Tips & Strategy

Pure Fiction as a mode favors characters that can deal large amounts of multi-target damage, such as AoE or Blast. This is because defeating the smaller enemies on the field in Wave 2 and 3 will deal bonus damage to the main boss, allowing you to progress to the final wave faster and generate more points.

Additionally, playing into the grit mechanic can help boost your damage output. Building teams that can build grit quickly and use the Surging Grit buff can help with generating more points.

6.1.

First Half

Defeating the Lesser Strings inflicts vulnerability to all enemies on the field, so prioritize taking them down.

Everwinter Shadewalkers will delay you if they act, so try not to let them stay on the field for too long.

The Furbo Journalist will grant Punchline for Aha Instant when it leaves the field based on the amount of damage that causes it to die. Try hitting it with hard hitting attacks for a small damage boost.

Killing the Ichor Memosprite: Pheasants deals toughness damage to the main boss, so it can be beneficial to AoE them down to make dealing with the boss easier.

Argenti's Shield and Speartips will grant him beneficial buffs that you can take for yourself if you defeat them. Prioritize downing them as quickly and consistently as possible.

6.2.

Second Half

Dreamjolt Troupe's Mr. Domescreen can grant you energy if it is smiling. Use the extra energy to your advantage to wipe out the first wave quicker.

The Tide's Eroded Blade can deal large amounts of damage via corrosion, and in combination with the Sableclaw Wolftrooper, you can be vulnerable to a significant amount of outgoing damage. Make sure to bring enough a sustain to deal with the debuff, if you cannot kill them right away.

Breaking Stellaron Hunter:SAM's enhanced state will refund SP and increase the amount of damage he takes. Try to break him by spending SP or breaking the toughness bar.
