Pure Fiction Stage 4 Tips & Strategy

Pure Fiction as a mode favors characters that can deal large amounts of multi-target damage, such as AoE or Blast. This is because defeating the smaller enemies on the field in Wave 2 and 3 will deal bonus damage to the main boss, allowing you to porgress to the final wave faster and generate more points.

Additionally, playing into the grit mechanic can help boost your damage output. Building teams that can build grit quickly and use the Surging Grit buff can help with generating more points.

6.1.

First Half

Defeating the Lesser Strings inflicts vulnerability to all enemies on the field, so prioritize taking them down.

After that you want to get rid of the Lordly Trashcan as it gains more ATK each round, and if you leave it up too long it will start to inflict large amounts of damage.

During Wave 2, killing the Ichor Memosprite: Pheasents deals toughness damage to the main boss, so it can be beneficial to AoE them down to make dealing with the boss easier.

During Wave 3, Borisin Warhead: Hoolay can delay your team and deal large amounts of damage in his Moon Rage state, try to nuetralize it by breaking his weakness or killing the side mobs quickly.

6.2.

Second Half

Revived Mara-Struck need to be defeated again in order to contribute to the point total and main boss damage.

The Black Tide's Decrepit Bow can deal large amounts of damage via corrosion, and in combination with the Blaze Out of Space, you can be vulnerable to a significant amount of outgoing damage. Make sure to bring enough a sustain to deal with the debuff.

Wave 3, the Abundant Ebon Deer's Twigs will buff and heal the boss if they stay on the field for an extended duration. Make sure to take them out quickly after they spawn in.
