Siege of Niuzao Temple Dungeon Guide
Niuzao Temple extends across two fortified islands far beyond a towering wall called the Serpent's Spine. For years, tenacious pandaren defenders have protected the narrow bridges connecting the isles, staving off any would-be invaders. Yet recently, the mantid created their own bridge--a massive tree root--and seized one of the islands by surprise. Now, these brutal insectoids are poised to assault Niuzao's remaining guardians.
Introduction
This dungeon is available on all 4 dungeon difficulties, starting at level 90 on normal difficulty. Players will race to defend this sacred Niuzao Temple from the relentless Mantid's assault, securing many ancient Celestial secrets from the hands of their enemies.
Vizier Jin'bak
Vizier Jin'bak is the first encounter in the instance and is
fought inside the large tree players land in. In the middle of the area is a large
Sap Puddle which deals Nature damage to all enemies in the area. Frequently throughout
the fight Vizier Jin'bak will summon Sap Globules around the
outside of the room, which will slowly move towards the Sap Puddle in the
middle of the room. If they reach the Sap Puddle they will merge with it, making it
grow large and cover more of the room. It is vital to kill the
Sap Globules before they can reach the Sap Puddle as Vizier Jin'bak
will frequently use
Detonate, which deals damage based on the
size of the Sap Puddle.
Commander Vo'jak
Commander Vo'jak is a two phase fight, where players will need to deal
with several waves of assaulting adds before Commander Vo'jak himself
finally arrives. During this first phase, waves of enemies will run up the
ramparts attempting to reach the top and attack your party. Luckily your nearby
allies will aid you during this encounter by providing you with several
Caustic Tar jars. These jars are intractable objects that can
be clicked to target and throw a large AoE slow down at a specified location. This
is needed to slow down the incoming waves of adds, allowing your group time to
kill them before they reach the top. This is made easier by first slowing the
groups down with several
Caustic Tar jars thrown in a row, allowing
the mobs to stack closely together, then single-target killing the
Sik'thik Demolisher. Upon death the Sik'thik Demolisher will
explode, dealing a large amount of damage to everyone nearby.
Once all of the waves have been defeated Commander Vo'jak will finally
arrive. Caustic Tar jars are still available and can be used
on Commander Vo'jak to prevent him from gaining stacks of
Rising Speed. Have the group spread out as Commander Vo'jak will
periodically charge a random player with
Dashing Strike, followed
by
Thousand Blades. Quickly move away from the area that Commander Vo'jak
charges to avoid the AoE whirlwind damage from
Thousand Blades.
General Pa'valak
General Pa'valak has two main abilities. The first,
Blade Rush is be used frequently. General Pa'valak will
throw his sword at a random players feet and charge the location after a few
seconds. Quickly run away from the indicated area and move out of the path
of the charge. His second ability is Bulwark, when General Pa'valak reaches 65% and
35% health, he shields himself, becoming immune to all damage temporarily.
He will also summon in numerous adds to aid him, namely Sik'thik Amber-Sappers.
These sappers will Throw Explosive at you, which can be quickly picked up by
interacting with them (clicking), allowing you to throw the explosive back at
the enemies. Once all of the adds are dead General Pa'valak will become
vulnerable again until the fight ends.
Wing Leader Ner'onok

Wing Leader Ner'onok is the final encounter of this instance and can be
found at the very end of the final bridge. Random players will be targeted by
Quick-Dry Resin, quickly filling up the "Amber Resin" bar. If this
bar reaches 100 players will be stunned for 10 seconds, which can easily be
prevented by spam jumping when you have this debuff. Wing Leader Ner'onok
will also target random players with
Caustic Pitch, creating a
pool of amber at their feet, dealing damage and slowing enemies caught inside.
The main mechanic of this fight is Gusting Winds, which
Wing Leader Ner'onok will use upon reaching both 66% and 33%
health. When this occurs Wing Leader Ner'onok will fly from one end of
the bridge to the other and begin to channel
Gusting Winds, pushing
players away from him. The group will need to slowly fight against this wind
force, slowly making their way across the bridge until they reach
Wing Leader Ner'onok and are able to interrupt the
Gusting Winds channel. Repeat this twice and the boss will finally
fall.
