WotLK Classic Affliction Warlock Pre-Raid Gear

In this guide we go over the different gear available for Affliction Warlocks before entering Raids in Wrath of the Lich King Classic. We will offer multiple different pieces as some can be expensive or very rare to obtain. Some slots have multiple "best" items that can change depending on your other gear choices.

Both of these helms are best in slot and chosen based upon your Hit Rating. If you need Hit then use Titan-Forged Hood of Dominance. If you do not need Hit, then use Visage Liquification Goggles

Chain of Latent Energies is the best choice for necklaces. It has got the same thing as Encircling Burnished Gold Chains, but with more Haste. Encircling Burnished Gold Chains is a great alternative in the meantime that you can get pretty fast with your Emblems of Heroism.

Heroes' Plagueheart Robe is the best option here. It has some much-needed Hit on it and two sockets. You also will need this to connect your Tier 7 4-piece set bonus soon. Spellweave Robe is a great alternative and also bind on equip, so you can purchase one from the auction house.

You have multiple ring options to choose from. Signet of the Kirin Tor and Titanium Spellshock Ring are both phenomenal choices. These are all bind on equip and they can be costly. Both Band of Guile and Annhylde's Ring are great rings as well and drop in a Heroic.

Titansteel Spellblade is the best option for Affliction. This is a bind on equip main hand weapon that you can buy off the auction house for a hefty amount of gold. If you do not want to spend gold on a weapon, then we suggest picking up a Staff of Draconic Combat from The Oculus or Flameheart Spell Scalpel after you are Revered with Kirin Tor.
