Suibian Temple Leveling Guide and Unlock Overview for Zenless Zone Zero
The Suibian Temple is a progression system available in Zenless Zone Zero where you restore the Suibian Temple. Learn how best to level, all the mechanics and rewards available.
As Time Passes: A Decade of Suibian Temple Event Guide for Zenless Zone Zero
This permanent event launched with version 2.0 (since June 6, 2025), letting you restore the Suibian Temple in the Waifei Peninsula through crafting, exploration, and management!
This event will always remain, and you can still access it even after 2.0 ends!

How do You Unlock the Suibian Temple?
In order to participate in the Suibian Temple restoration, you need to complete the main story quest Difficult Evidence, which is part of the Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn Chapter. Once you reach the quest called Suibian Temple Restoration Project it means you can finally unlock the Temple restoration. Then speak to Pan Yinhu at the Temple Gates to start the quest.

How Do You Unlock the Daily Activities?
The Temple daily activities will unlock once you complete the previously mentioned questline:
- Talk to Pan Yinhu at the Suibian Temple gates.
- Find Ju Fufu located at the west wing, central temple beside Belion.
- Talk to
Belion to get your crafting and management tutorial.
- Check on A‑Shuo next to Belion, then locate the Bangboo Forfeitboo outside the gates.
- Chat with Sweety at Yum Cha Sin.
- Complete Ju Fufu's Temple Commission in the Aerospace City.
- Talk to Senior Shiyuan in the west wing of the Temple after returning.
- Switch to nighttime and speak with Yixuan to complete the quest.
Once you are done, you can interact with Belion and start managing your daily activities
in order to restore the Temple to its former glory!

What is the Suibian Temple Event About?
The Suibian Temple is a permanent management event where the main goal is to increase your restoration level to max through various activities and commissions you will have to complete. Some parts of the event are time-gated. You will have to wait a few minutes, and sometimes hours, before you can complete a mission.
Overall, it's a nice strategic mini-game inside the Temple involving four core loops:
- Adventure - Dispatch Bangboo to collect raw materials from hollows.
- Discovery - Unlock new crafting recipes via the Product Discovery earned first‑time per Adventure area.
- Craft - Assign Bangboo to produce items using the collected ingredients.
- Sell - Place items on shelves, sell with Bangboo assistance to earn Cloud Crest.

Completing these loops increases the Temple's Restoration Level. When you reach certain level caps, you will see the Temple evolve visually: new decorations appear, the temple gets cleaned up, etc. As you level up, you also unlock specific vendors in Failume Heights, deeper exploration, and more rewards.

Using Bangboo for the Restoration
Bangboo are essential for three main roles:
- Adventure - They gather raw materials and generate Exploration score
- Crafting - They produce items more efficiently and increase quality
- Sales - They boost Cloud Crest earnings while selling

You can also upgrade the Bangboo, recycle those you don't need anymore, or buy more at the Boobox.

Important Shops for the Suibian Temple Restoration
As you progress in the Temple restoration, you will unlock multiple shops that either give you additional commissions, or let you buy different materials or rare items:
- Yum Cha Sin - Accepts Residents Commissions in exchange for Cloud Crest, Wishletter & Omnicoin
- Good Goods - Trade Cloud Crest for crafting mats, buy shelves & Bangboo upgrade materials
- Devon Pawnshop - Spend Omnicoin to redeem special rewards
- BooBox - Recruit new Bangboo to help you with the Temple Restoration
How To Send Bangboo on Adventures And Unlock New Products Via Discovery
In order to craft or sell items, you first need to discover them. For that, you need to send your Bangboo out on Adventures in order to obtain the base materials for each item.

As you level up your Restoration ranks, you will also unlock various production Area and Research Centers. Sending your Bangboo to explore those will allow them to bring back new materials that you can then use to craft and sell items.

When you pick up an area to explore, you have to choose the Adventure Time Selection, and the Bangboo you want to assign to it. During your explorations you can find various important items on top of the crafting materials:
- Scrolls of Discovery - Blueprints you get by sending Bangboos on Adventures. You can typically gather those when exploring an area for the first time. They allow you to Discover new items.
- Scrolls of Refinement - Those are unlocked after Restoration Level 35 and allow you to upgrade craftable items for better quality and profit.
Pick the Proper Bangboo Ffor Exploration
When you send you Bangboo on an Adventure, it is important to send someone who has a high Adventure power score:
- Choose an Adventure Area from the Temple interface
- Assign Bangboos with high Adventure Power (highlighted by the map icon in their stats)
- Set the duration - the longer you pick, the more materials you get, however, it is not always recommended to pick the highest time as you will have to wait in real time
Tip: Set 15-minute runs on new areas at lower levels to hit 100% Progress & Score directly. This unlocks the best drops for future dispatch runs. If you know that you will not log in for a few hours, for example right before you go to bed, set up +6h hours. This way you collect a large amount of materials over night or while you are away. When you are playing set up shorter amount of times (3min or 15min), in order to be able to send out various dispatches.
As you progress and reach Restoration Level 35, you will eventually unlock the Depths in each Adventure Zone. These are special areas:
- Each Depth rewards you with Refinement Scrolls tied to the 3 products from that area.
- Use these scrolls to upgrade those items, making them sell for more and qualify for better commissions.
- Depths take longer to complete, but offer better materials and scrolls.

Each new discovered item will then be available for crafting under the crafting station tab!
Crafting at the Suibian Temple
As mentioned before, after unlocking your crafting recipe under Discovery, you can start crafting these products, then sell them for Cloud Crest, or turn them in for commissions at Yum Cha Sin.

Products fall into 6 categories, and these rotate with weekly trends at the selling station:
- Wanderer's Gadgets
- Herbal Remedies
- Tools and Tastes
- Meditation Essentials
- Pristine Clothing
- Festive Props
You start with 1 Crafting Station, and unlock more at:
- Lv 5 - 2nd station
- Lv 10 - 3rd station
- Lv 25 - 4th station
Having more Crafting Stations lets you craft multiple items simultaneously, which will be highly needed for higher-level restoration levels!
In order to craft, you also need to assign Bangboo with high Acumen Stat to your stations. Their talents affect:
- Crafting Speed
- Output Quality
- Bonuses to Product Types

S-Rank Bangboo helpers only unlock at Restoration Level 30. They come with better stats and more Talents, but you have to be careful when you buy them at the Boobox. Each Bangboo can have different variants with different buffs, so don't hesitate to re-roll the Boobox to get better variants.
Once you have a Bangboo ready, assign it to the production; It will then take some time to craft your items. You can choose how many items you want to craft. It is usually better to bulk craft so you have a good amount of items in stock, and are ready for selling or completing Commissions from Yum Cha Sin.

Making sure you always have a good stock of items will allow you to easily sell high amount of items.

How Does Selling Work at the Suibian Temple
Once your products are crafted, it's time to sell them to earn Cloud Crest and increase your Restoration Levels! At the start you can simply sell the items you have the most in stock. As you level up, you should always try to sell the items that are either part of the Weekly Trend, or those who possess the biggest selling price.
As you reach Restoration Level 35, you also unlock Future Trends, which allows you to see next week's type of products. This is a good way to pre-craft what you will need, and make more benefits the upcoming week.
Similar to the Crafting stations, you start with only one shelf where you can sell your products. Additional Shelves unlock at level:
- Lv 8 - 2nd station
- Lv 15 - 3rd station
- Lv 25 - 4th station
However, you also need to buy the shelves. They unlock at Good Goods, so do not forget to visit the shop and make sure you obtained all your stations after Level 25. Each costs 500 Cloud Crest.

Here is how to make the most of each sale:
- Sell items you have the most of
- Or prioritise items with the highest base price. You can check under each product icon
- Assign Bangboo with the Sales Talent to your shelves for better speed and bonuses
- Check the Trends:
- Trending types sell for +20% value, so aim to craft and sell those!
- After Restoration Level 35, you unlock Future Trends, letting you preview next week's trends and prep in advance
On top of selling, you will also be able to submit items to Yum Cha Sin to complete Neighbourhood Wishes. These commission either require you to simply craft and give a certain amount of products, or to enter the Aerospace City to explore and complete specific missions.

What Rewards Can You Earn?
Of course, the Suibian Temple Restoration will not leave you empty handed! You will have the possibility to earn a ton of rewards, including:
- Agent and Bangboo upgrade materials
- Polychromes, Denny, Boopon
- Exclusive Proxy Accessories that you can exchange at Devon's Pawnshop against Omnicoin

How to Level Fast: Early & Late Game Strategies
In order to help you pick the best leveling path during early all the way to endgame here are a few tips and tricks that should allow you to reach the maximum Restoration level in no time!
Fast‑Start Checklist
For a rapid start from Level 1 to 30, here's what you need to remember:
- Complete the intro quest to unlock Temple activities
- Claim your first Bangboo and unlock Adventure and Discovery
- Send Bangboo on Adventure to collect raw materials
- Use Discovery to unlock crafting recipes
- Craft using Bangboo with high Craft score
- Sell goods to earn Cloud Crest
- Sell items with the highest selling price as soon as you can
- Buy raw materials at Good Goods if needed
- Complete commissions at Yum Cha Sin as soon as available
This should allow you to reach the first "cap" rather fast. Once you reach around level 30, you sort of hit a soft cap.
The Grind Begins
Once you pass level 30, you will begin to encounter specific requirements that take you more time to complete:
- Level 31 and 33 require a score 100 on specific Adventure areas before you can level up
- Every mission above level 35, you also have to reach 100 on Adventure levels to rank up
- Expeditions take around 13 hours to reach 100. For optimal play, you can use shorter intervals and check in often
- Cloud Crest costs increase fast: Lv 30 needs around 430k, while Lv 35 jumps to 1.45M
Levels 35+: Depth Exploration Unlocks
Once you hit level 35, you unlock the Depth levels. As mentioned before, those reward you with better items, and Scrolls of Refinement to upgrade your products. You should:
- Send Bangboo out for 20h during the Depths explorations. This way you can directly grab a ton of materials for the upgrade item
- Once you have the Scroll, upgrade your items. They will sell for more money after
- Upgraded items are more valuable and should become your main daily products
- Recommended daily loop: Level → send Bangboo → collect scrolls → upgrade → craft → submit to Yum Cha commissions → restock → repeat
Commission Requirements
At certain Restoration Levels (3, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35), progress is locked until you complete required Temple Commissions. If you are unsure about what quest you need to complete, you can take a look under your Inter-Knot, and the Hearsay tab where your side-quest register.

Try to complete those commissions as soon as you have them, as otherwise your Restoration Level will be hard capped and stuck until your missions are done.
What you need to remember is that the daily Loop you have to follow is rather easy: Explore → collect scrolls and materials → unlock or upgrade recipes → craft products → sell/submit → repeat! Focus on Trends and High selling prices to sell the best items, pre-craft for next week by checking Trends early, and keep an eye on your Bangboo and upgrade them when possible so they can help you make more profit.
