How do you Participate in the Joint Investigation: The Divine Maze Event?

In order to participate you will need to reach Inter-Knot level 20 and complete the Main Story Chapter 1 Intermission.

This is a co-op event where you can team up with other players in order to form a three-person team. You can select different themed stages, then match up with other players and try to clear the stage together.

During each stage, you have a chain meter that will charge each time someone uses specific techniques. Once the meter is full, a prompt will appear that allows you to execute the chain overdrive. This is basically a joint chain attack with everyone together.

If another player dies during the stage, you can also revive him by getting close to his dead body. The more people join in the revival, the faster it goes.

The Joint Investigation into the Divine Maze event sends you deep into dangerous territory, with both solo and multiplayer options depending on how you like to play.

To begin the event, head over to Failume Heights and talk to the troubled lady you will find there. Speaking with her will unlock the Joint Investigation and give you access to the event content.

During the event, you can choose between two different investigation modes:

  • Solo Investigation - Perfect if you prefer playing alone or want to take things at your own pace. This mode lets you explore and fight through the Divine Maze entirely solo.
  • Joint Investigation (Multiplayer) - If you are looking for co-op action, Joint Investigation lets you team up with other players for multiplayer combat. This mode comes with three difficulty levels, so you can pick the challenge that fits you best:
    • Standard – A more relaxed difficulty, ideal for casual runs or first-time attempts
    • High Risk – Tougher enemies and higher pressure for experienced Proxies
    • Nightmare – The ultimate challenge, designed for coordinated teams and high-level gameplay

Which Mode Should You Choose?

If you prefer story and exploration go for the Solo Investigation, but if you want co-op combat and higher difficulty go for the joint Investigation.

The Nightmare difficulty should only be picked if you are really comfortable with combat in ZZZ and you know how to play your Agents.

If you play in multiplayer, you can set up a quick message menu with emotes and quick messages.
