Sword Seeker Chronicles Event Guide for Zenless Zone Zero

This event will take place during version 2.5 of the game, right after the version goes live on December 31, 2025 until February 05th, 2026. This event is part of the Ridu Chronicles Which means that some rewards are permanent, and other rewards are limited during the event period. On top of that, this event will stay available even after the event period ends. This way, you can participate at any time in the future. However, keep in mind that you will get way less rewards from doing it later on.

During the Event, you will have the opportunity to team up with Ye Shunguang in order to uncover the secrets of the Qingming Sword.

In order to participate you will need to reach Inter-Knot level 20 and complete Main Story Chapter 1 Intermission. You also need to reach the 2.0 zone called Failume Heights.

For the best experience, we also recommend you complete the Main Story Season 2 Chapter 6 To Be Fuel for the Night first.

When Ye Shunguang unlocked the power of the Qingming Sword, she accidentally opened the realm within it as well. You will be able to enter the realm and explore it with Ye Shunguang, and test out all her powers.

Multiple combat stages will unlock where you will be able to test and improve Ye Shunguang. Multiple abilities linked to the sword will unlock as you progress through the different stages.

To kick start the event head to Failume Heights and meet with Ye Shunguang at Suibian Temple. She will take you inside the Qingming Realm in search of ways to overcome the Qingming Sword's side effects.

You will have the possibility to explore the realm and gain new abilities. Use them to complete more trials with Ye Shunguang's Sword Will Resonance within the Realm.

When you first enter the realm, you will have to fight your way through with Ye Shunguang. If you do not have her and wanted to try her out first, this is the perfect occasion since you will get a trial version of the agent during the whole event.

The event unlocks a complete new Hollow Map. Your goal is to explore it like any other Map and eliminate any enemy on your way, while you gather the sword's new powers.

Fighting enemies and exploring gives you two different currencies, Sword Will Essence and Sword Mastery. Sword Mastery allows you to unlock new powers, and the Sword Will Essence is used to upgrade those powers and make them even stronger:

You will not be able to directly explore the full map, so focus on following the event quest first until you can unlock the remaining powers which will allow you to explore the zone freely!

During your exploration, you can also find Sword Collection Memories. The memories look like bright white or purple/red pack of sword in the ground.

When you get close simply interact with the swords, but be careful as some memories have a challenge related to them, so you just have to complete the fight to gain the memory. The memories will form a total of three big memories you can piece together.

After you progressed through the event quest, you will also unlock the Sword Keeper's Trial and the Nightmare Gauntlet.

The Trials are special Sword Keeper trials. Your goal is to defeat the enemies within the time limit. Each trial has special objectives. They unlock as you progress through the Event story.

The Nightmare Gauntlet features special stage environments. In this mode you need to challenge more powerful enemies one after each other within the time limit. Teams are already pre-set so you do not have a choice for this. Completing the challenge will grant you Sword Mastery as well.

This event is part of the Ridu Chronicles, which means some rewards are limited and others are permanent. You can earn the following permanent rewards:
