Piper Wheel's Best W-Engines

Listed below are Piper's best W-Engines. While W-Engines are listed in a priority order, what's best to build on your Piper can vary slightly depending on your team composition.

Practiced Perfection

The equipper's Anomaly Mastery increases by 60/69/78/87/96. When inflicting Assault, the equipper's Physical DMG increases by 20/23/26/29/32% for 20s, stacking up to 2 times. Repeated triggers reset the duration. When the equipper enters combat, immediately gain 2 stacks.

Sharpened Stinger

Indulge in the Hunt
Upon activating a Dash Attack, gain 1 stack of Predatory Instinct. Each stack of Predatory Instinct increases the equipper's Physical DMG by 12/15/18/21/24% for 10s, stacking up to 3 times. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s and repeated triggers reset the duration. When entering combat or triggering Perfect Dodge, gain 3 stacks of Predatory Instinct. While Predatory Instinct is at maximum stacks, the equipper's Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 40/50/60/70/80%.

Roaring Ride

When EX Special Attack hits an enemy, one of three possible effects is randomly triggered for 5 seconds. This effect can trigger once every 0.3s. The same types of effects cannot stack. Repeated triggers reset the duration, allowing several effects to be active at once:
Increases the equipper's ATK by 8/9.2/10.4/11.6/12.8%, increases the equipper's Anomaly Proficiency by 40/46/52/58/64, or increases the equipper's Anomaly Buildup Rate by 25/28/32/36/40%.

Increases Anomaly Buildup Rate by 40/46/52/58/64%. When the equipper deals Ether DMG, their Anomaly Proficiency increases by 20/23/26/29/32 for 5s, stacking up to 6 times. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s, and repeated triggers reset the duration.

Weeping Gemini

Lingering Cries
Whenever a squad member inflicts an Attribute Anomaly on an enemy, the equipper gains a buff that increases Anomaly Proficiency by 30/34/38/42/48, stacking up to 4 times. This effect expires when the target recovers from Stun or is defeated. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.

Best Drive Discs for Piper Wheel

Fanged Metal

2-Piece Set: Physical DMG +10%
4-Piece Set: Whenever a squad member inflicts Assault on an enemy, the equipper deals 35% additional DMG to the target for 12s.

Freedom Blues

2-Piece Set: Anomaly Proficiency +30
4-Piece Set: When an EX Special Attack hits an enemy, reduce the target's Anomaly Buildup RES to the equipper's Attribute by 20% for 8s. This effect does not stack with others of the same attribute.

Piper Wheel's Stat Priority

Piper mainly wants to be built around Anomaly Proficiency and Anomaly Mastery however you may want to build around some ATK main stats depending on the buffs present in endgame content. If you aim to play Piper mainly with Ukinami Yuzuha then build an ATK % Disc 6.

Piper Wheel's Skill Priority

Piper's most important skill to level is her Core Passive. However all of Piper's skills have some value so feel free to level them based on the amount of resources you're willing to invest in.

How to Play Piper Wheel

Piper's gameplay revolves around adding Physical Anomaly buildup and creating stacks of Power. These stacks of power increase the DMG of all squad members' by 18%. Stacks of Power are generated whenever an EX Special Attack: Engine Spin or Ultimate: Hold~ On~ Tight~ hits an enemy.

This makes Piper great in combat with multiple enemies as Piper can "Spin to Win". While using EX Special Attack: Engine Spin, Anti-Interrupt is increased as well as DMG taken is reduced. The downside being that this continuously consumes energy.

Instead of using a full Basic Attack combo, Piper can Dash, Dodge or Assist Follow-Up into Piper's third Basic Attack. Dashing into this is generally a damage loss however the other options (Dodge and Assist) are a damage gain.

Piper's EX Special Attack has multiple charge levels to it the more you hold down and spin. This will start at the second level if the skill is used after Piper's third Basic Attack, Dash Attack or Dodge counter.

Piper Wheel's Best Mindscapes

Piper Wheel's most impactful Mindscapes are Leisure Moment (M1) and Mild Excitement (M6). Leisure Moment increases the amount of available Power stacks piper can hold as well as increasing their generation while Mild Excitement increases the duration of Engine Spin allowing her to also generate more stacks while they now last longer.
