Jane Doe is an S-Rank Physical Anomaly DPS Agent who is focused on frequent Assaults, building up Passion Stream, and dealing massive Assault damage with her Anomaly CRIT mechanic. In our guide, we will cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Jane Doe, from building the best Drive Discs and W-Engines to important stat priorities and combos.

Sharpened Stinger

Indulge in the Hunt
Upon activating a Dash Attack, gain 1 stack of Predatory Instinct. Each stack of Predatory Instinct increases the equipper's Physical DMG by 12/15/18/21/24% for 10s, stacking up to 3 times. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s and repeated triggers reset the duration. When entering combat or triggering Perfect Dodge, gain 3 stacks of Predatory Instinct. While Predatory Instinct is at maximum stacks, the equipper's Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 40/50/60/70/80%.

Practiced Perfection

The equipper's Anomaly Mastery increases by 60/69/78/87/96. When inflicting Assault, the equipper's Physical DMG increases by 20/23/26/29/32% for 20s, stacking up to 2 times. Repeated triggers reset the duration. When the equipper enters combat, immediately gain 2 stacks.

Whenever a squad member inflicts an Attribute Anomaly on an enemy, the equipper gains a buff that increases Anomaly Proficiency by 30/34/38/42/48, stacking up to 4 times. This effect expires when the target recovers from Stun or is defeated. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.

When there are enemies inflicted with Attribute Anomaly on the field, the equipper's ATK increases by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% and they deal an additional 15/17.5/20/22.5/25% more DMG to the target.

4-Piece Set: Whenever a squad member inflicts Assault on an enemy, the equipper deals 35% additional DMG to the target for 12s.

Jane Doe's Stat Priority

With regards to building Jane's substats, she wants to hit 420 Combat Anomaly Proficiency to max out her passive buff of 600 Flat Attack in the Passion State. Her second most important stat to build up is ATK %.

Jane Doe's Skill Priority

Jane Doe's most important skill to level is her Core skill, since it provides her with up to 600 combat ATK and 25% Anomaly Buildup Rate while in the Passion State. Past that, her Ultimate and Ex Special are high priorities; however outside of Core Skills, Skills are not that important to an Anomaly Agent's damage.

How to Play Jane Doe

Jane has a resource called Passion Stream. You can accumulate Passion Stream by using her Perfect Dodge and Defensive Assist. When reaching maximum Passion Stream, she will enter the Passion State and gain an ATK buff based on her Anomaly Proficiency, as well as a 25% Anomaly Buildup Rate buff. Because of this, Jane wants to use her Dodge and Assist as much as possible to try and stay in the Passion State for as much time as she can.

Beside this, you simply want to attack with your Basics and EX Special between these Dodges. This allows you to build up the Physical Anomaly meter and proc Assaults while using her Chain Attack and Ultimate in the stun window, fitting as many Assault procs as possible.

Jane Doe also has the unique ability to trigger a CRIT with 40% CRIT Rate and 50% CRIT DMG. Her CRIT DMG is a fixed value and can not be increased in any way (except for her Mindscape 2). However, her CRIT Rate can be increased by how much Anomaly Proficiency she has, which maxes out at 100% CRIT Rate with 375 Anomaly Proficiency.

Jane Doe's Best Mindscapes

Jane Doe has one of the most powerful Mindscapes in the entire game. Her M2 increases her Assault CRIT DMG value by 50%, effectively doubling all Assault Damage on the team. This enables her to act as a Sub DPS in a Mono Physical team, alongside Alice Thymefield and Ukinami Yuzuha, which is one of the strongest team compositions in the game.
