Stat Priority for Elemental Shamans in PvP

The stat priority for Elemental Shamans in PvP is as follows:

  1. Intellect;
  2. Versatility;
  3. Haste;
  4. Mastery;
  5. Critical Strike;

Versatility is the best stat due to the increased survivability and overall damage. Versatility should only be stacked to around 30% when in PvP due to diminishing returns.

Haste, is important for Flame Shock Icon Flame Shock damage over time, and Lava Surge Icon Lava Surge procs, as well as faster global cooldowns.

Mastery, you want to maximize after reaching a baseline of Haste while in PvP gear in Arena/Battleground. This is important for Lava Burst Icon Lava Burst damage for constant pressure.
