Reshii Wraps for Feral Druid

Patch 11.2 once again adds a unique item, this time obtainable through the Ghosts of K'aresh quest chain - the Reshii Wraps Icon Reshii Wraps artifact cloak. This starts at item level 694, and as you progress through the season will upgrade to a final item level of 730. This should always be used in Season 3, especially as most endgame activities have had cloaks removed from the loot table.

As a DPS, the unique effect is a high damage proc that also splits between enemies hit. This effect is amplified by the specific items available within Manaforge Omega:

  • Interloper's Reinforced Sandals Icon Interloper's Reinforced Sandals - boots from The Soul Hunters. These significantly increase the rate your cloak effect triggers, and are a best-in-slot pickup at all times.
  • Band of the Shattered Soul Icon Band of the Shattered Soul - ring from Dimensius The All Devouring. Provides a niche extra defensive component to procs, which has some uses on certain encounters. Weaker stats means it's not very sought after.

The Reshii Wraps Icon Reshii Wraps also come with one single Fiber Socket that dictates which secondary stat it has, which can be changed at any time out of combat. These can be acquired at Blue quality from Hashim on K'aresh, or crafted by Tailoring at Epic quality. As Feral, you will be using either Energizing Fiber Icon Energizing Fiber or Pure Energizing Fiber Icon Pure Energizing Fiber for Mastery.

For more information on acquiring and upgrading your Cloak, make sure to check ouir dedicated Reshii Wraps page that covers it in more detail:

4.

D.I.S.C. Belt for Feral Druid

Previously introduced in Patch 11.1.7, the Durable Information Securing Container Icon Durable Information Securing Container is a unique belt that comes with additional proc effects. While this originally required Overcharged Delves to complete, it can now be acquired from any Delve.

The belt remains valuable in Season 3 up until around 710 item-level, so is replaced by Hero Track alternatives. Currently, Feral has a handful of different proc options depending on content:

  • Raid/Single-Target - Static Charge Icon Static Charge (Crit)
  • Mythic+/AoE - Static Charge Icon Static Charge (Versatility) / Electric Current Icon Electric Current (Mastery)
  • Open World/Delves -Electric Current Icon Electric Current (Mastery)

For more information on how to acquire the belt and how it works, make sure to check out our dedicated D.I.S.C. page that can guide you through the steps!

Raiding Trinket Tier List for Feral Druid

This Trinket Tier List mostly focuses on single-target throughput, as raid encounters are mostly decided by your boss damage. Feral always aims to have one on-use to pair with Berserk Icon Berserk, and then a strong stat proc or passive trinket to go alongside.

Ranking Trinket
S Tier
  • Araz's Ritual Forge Icon Araz's Ritual Forge - Click for Details
Extremely powerful on-use trinket, and outclasses all other options. Should be used alongside Berserk Icon Berserk uses every 2 minutes. Be aware it reduces your health on cast, which may be dangerous.
  • Astral Antenna Icon Astral Antenna - Click for Details
While it's just a passive Crit proc, the ability to stack up with repeat effects alongside general good tuning makes this the strongest passive trinket on offer.
  • Signet of the Priory Icon Signet of the Priory - Click for Details
An equivalent to Araz's Ritual Forge Icon Araz's Ritual Forge. While less powerful, it fills Feral's need for a 2-minute trinket to line up with Berserk Icon Berserk. Also gets slightly stronger if the rest of your party is using one.
  • Improvised Seaforium Pacemaker Icon Improvised Seaforium Pacemaker - Click for Details
Slightly outclassed by Astral Antenna Icon Astral Antenna, but still a good Crit trinket just by virtue of being on an ICD. Triggering every minute on the dot effectively makes it a second on-use trinket in disguise, always lining up with Berserk Icon Berserk.
A Tier
  • So'leah's Secret Technique Icon So'leah's Secret Technique - Click for Details
Passive stat trinket with basically no downside. Has the extra advantage of picking the secondary you bind with. Feral will generally bind with either a Crit or Mastery ally, but refer to your character sims.
  • Ara-Kara Sacbrood Icon Ara-Kara Sacbrood
  • Sigil of the Cosmic Hunt Icon Sigil of the Cosmic Hunt - Click for Details
Deals solid proc damage with a cleave component, but requires extra management with your targeting to optimize. Good on encounters weighted toward execute damage, making it a strong raid option.
  • Empowering Crystal of Anub'ikkaj Icon Empowering Crystal of Anub'ikkaj
  • Unyielding Netherprism Icon Unyielding Netherprism - Click for Details
The passive damage effect is fairly average, but the ability to flexibly deploy a large amount of extra Agility alongside Berserk Icon Berserk is strong. This can either be used on cooldown alongside this, or banked for an explosive use if extra burst is needed at a key moment.
B Tier
  • Lily of the Eternal Weave Icon Lily of the Eternal Weave - Click for Details
An on-use alternative that covers Feral's need for an on-use, but definitely weaker than the trinkets listed above it. This should be held for 30 seconds to align with Berserk Icon Berserk.
  • Incorporeal Warpclaw Icon Incorporeal Warpclaw
  • Screams of a Forgotten Sky Icon Screams of a Forgotten Sky
  • Cursed Stone Idol Icon Cursed Stone Idol - Click for Details
Provides a large amount of crit, but the cast time makes it a bit annoying to play with, and doesn't provide any real payoff for doing so. One of the weakest on-uses available this season, but fills a need if you haven't currently got one.
  • Incorporeal Essence-Gorger Icon Incorporeal Essence-Gorger - Click for Details
A weaker on-use alternative that can be obtained from Delves. While it mostly buffs your lowest stat, with DRs being in effect this season it's still useful to cover Feral's need for an on-use trinket. Should be used alongside Berserk Icon Berserk.
C Tier
  • Harvester's Edict Icon Harvester's Edict - Click for Details
This trinket has a hidden set bonus with our ideal weapon (Harvester's Interdiction Icon Harvester's Interdiction), but even with that considered the trinket is relatively weak and annoying to play with.
  • Ticking Sack of Terror Icon Ticking Sack of Terror
  • Void-Touched Fragment Icon Void-Touched Fragment
  • Soulbreaker's Sigil Icon Soulbreaker's Sigil
  • Depleted K'areshi Battery Icon Depleted K'areshi Battery
D Tier
  • Perfidious Projector Icon Perfidious Projector
  • Automatic Footbomb Dispenser Icon Automatic Footbomb Dispenser
  • Mind-Fracturing Odium Icon Mind-Fracturing Odium
  • Chaotic Nethergate Icon Chaotic Nethergate

Mythic+ Trinket Tier List for Feral Druid

This Trinket Tier List has a broader scope, looking for trinkets that have flexibility without extra conditions to get value out of them. This is due to Mythic+ being more fluid and needing general-use items rather than extremely specialized options. Even more-so than in raid, Feral is looking for an on-use trinket to pair with Berserk Icon Berserk, then a solid passive trinket to use alongside.

Ranking Trinket
S Tier
  • Araz's Ritual Forge Icon Araz's Ritual Forge - Click for Details
Extremely powerful on-use trinket, and outclasses all other options, especially in dungeons where importance is shifted toward big pulls. Should be used alongside Berserk Icon Berserk uses every 2 minutes. Be aware it reduces your health on cast, which may be dangerous.
  • Astral Antenna Icon Astral Antenna - Click for Details
Just by virtue of being non-invasive and well tuned, this Crit proc trinket is the best on offer as your passive option in Mythic+. Can be a little annoying to see and catch the orbs, however
  • Improvised Seaforium Pacemaker Icon Improvised Seaforium Pacemaker - Click for Details
Slightly outclassed by Astral Antenna Icon Astral Antenna, but still a good Crit trinket especially thanks to the ICD trigger. Proccing every minute on the dot effectively makes it an on-use trinket in disguise, always lining up with Berserk Icon Berserk.
  • Signet of the Priory Icon Signet of the Priory - Click for Details
An equivalent to Araz's Ritual Forge Icon Araz's Ritual Forge. While less powerful, it covers Feral's need for a 2-minute trinket to line up with Berserk Icon Berserk. Also gets slightly stronger if the rest of your party is using one.
  • Empowering Crystal of Anub'ikkaj Icon Empowering Crystal of Anub'ikkaj
  • Lily of the Eternal Weave Icon Lily of the Eternal Weave - Click for Details
An on-use alternative that covers Feral's need for an on-use, but definitely weaker than the trinkets listed above it. This should be held for 30 seconds to align with Berserk Icon Berserk.
  • Cursed Stone Idol Icon Cursed Stone Idol - Click for Details
Provides a large amount of crit, but the cast time makes it a bit annoying to play with. Still an option to fill Feral's requirement for an on-use to pair with Berserk Icon Berserk though.
B Tier
  • Unyielding Netherprism Icon Unyielding Netherprism - Click for Details
The passive damage effect is fairly average, but the ability to flexibly deploy a large amount of extra Agility alongside Berserk Icon Berserk is strong. This can either be used on cooldown alongside this, or banked for explosive burst if needed in a dangerous pull.
  • Sigil of the Cosmic Hunt Icon Sigil of the Cosmic Hunt - Click for Details
Deals solid proc damage with a cleave component, but requires extra management with your targeting to optimize in AoE. While it can potentially deal a lot of damage, that extra factor paired with the strength of secondary stats this season makes it more of a raid option.
  • Void-Touched Fragment Icon Void-Touched Fragment - Click for Details
Has a decent amount of extra value in Mythic+ due to more frequent enemy deaths. This can also backfire though, causing procs to happen at the end of a pull, wasting stacks.
  • Harvester's Edict Icon Harvester's Edict - Click for Details
This trinket has a hidden set bonus with our ideal weapon (Harvester's Interdiction Icon Harvester's Interdiction), which adds some extra RPPM. This raises it to an average AoE trinket, but in the chaos of packs catching the orbs can be quite difficult.
C Tier
  • Soulbreaker's Sigil Icon Soulbreaker's Sigil - Click for Details
Has slight gains in Mythic+ by being able to trigger the Versatility buff on enemy death, but is so unreliable that it doesn't gain much. This also often fizzles by proccing at the end of a pull.
  • Incorporeal Warpclaw Icon Incorporeal Warpclaw
  • Automatic Footbomb Dispenser Icon Automatic Footbomb Dispenser
  • Depleted K'areshi Battery Icon Depleted K'areshi Battery
D Tier
  • Ticking Sack of Terror Icon Ticking Sack of Terror
  • Perfidious Projector Icon Perfidious Projector
  • Screams of a Forgotten Sky Icon Screams of a Forgotten Sky
  • Mind-Fracturing Odium Icon Mind-Fracturing Odium
  • Chaotic Nethergate Icon Chaotic Nethergate

Tier Set for Feral Druid in Season 3

For the third season of The War Within, Blizzard has tried something new with the Ornaments of the Mother Eagle. Instead of one static bonus, each Hero Talent provides its own unique 2-piece and 4-piece depending on which you are playing. You can use the tool below to see details on both bonuses:

Best Crafted Items for Feral Druid

Crafted gear for Feral in The War Within has a few choices depending on what gear you currently have, and how many sparks you have access to. You should ideally sim the optimal stats to craft for your particular character, but Critical Strike and Mastery is usually a safe option with Algari Missive of the Peerless Icon Algari Missive of the Peerless.

8.1.

Best Crafting Order for Feral Druid

  1. For your first craft, you have two options depending on if you are in a rush to use your Spark of Starlight Icon Spark of Starlight:
    • If you have two sparks, a WeaponCharged Halberd Icon Charged Halberd with Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension Icon Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension. This should be paired with Writhing Armor Banding Icon Writhing Armor Banding with your next off-piece.
    • If you have one spark (or don't need a weapon) — Craft an off-piece and apply Duskthread Lining Icon Duskthread Lining. We recommend a low impact slot that does not conflict with Tier, such as Rune-Branded Armbands Icon Rune-Branded Armbands.
  2. Craft another off-piece and apply Duskthread Lining Icon Duskthread Lining or Writhing Armor Banding Icon Writhing Armor Banding, depending on your choice. We recommend a low impact slot such as Rune-Branded Waistband Icon Rune-Branded Waistband.
  3. After this, you are done with priority crafts and embellishments and can use sims to determine your best piece to upgrade with item level. Rings and Necks are good choices as they are very contested.

While there are some strong weapons available early in the Season, the advantage of having a 720 weapon immediately is very high. Your decision comes down to whether you want up-front power with that, or you're looking for long term best-in-slot setups.

Our general recommendation is that the value of an early weapon is so high, that for most players it will almost certainly pay off investing in it early. You can always switch over to double Duskthread Lining Icon Duskthread Lining later when your gear is more complete. Remember when crafting that all equippable two-handed agility weapons are equal value, including Charged Halberd Icon Charged Halberd, Charged Crusher Icon Charged Crusher and Vagabond's Careful Crutch Icon Vagabond's Careful Crutch.

9.

"Simming" Yourself as a Feral Druid

Throughout this page and elsewhere in our guide, we regularly refer to the importance of simming yourself on Raidbots. This is because every character is unique, and each individual gear piece you have access to can change what is best right now for you.

While we do offer generic sim charts and recommendations for Trinkets, these are not complete replacements for simming yourself. The only way to truly optimize your character to that degree is by making use of the tools available!

If you are new to simming and Raidbots, check out our detailed guide below.

10.

Best Gear Upgrades for Feral Druid

As you complete endgame content in The War Within, you will gather upgrade crests such as Gilded Ethereal Crest Icon Gilded Ethereal Crest that can be used to upgrade your items. Once you have upgraded a slot to a particular item level, any other item in that slot can be upgraded without a Crest cost.

As Crests are a limited resource, ideally you want to obtain the highest item-level possible before committing any crests to upgrade it. If you are capable of completing higher Mythic+ dungeons, it is generally a good idea to wait until you have the slot maxed out with free upgrades first.

Below is a general slot priority you should upgrade your items in.

  1. Weapons
  2. Trinkets
  3. Helm/Chest/Legs
  4. Shoulders/Gloves/Belt/Boots
  5. Rings and Necks
  6. Cloaks and Bracers
