Best Puzzling Cartel Chip Purchases for Feral Druid
Patch 11.2.5 reintroduces the Puzzling Cartel Chip system, available
after October 21st. Like before, a weekly quest can be completed to obtain these,
and can be used to purchase high value items from Manaforge Omega and
Mythic+ dungeons. You can purchase any trinkets or special cantrip items
available, all the way up to Myth track!
Purchasing an item, however, does require you to have defeated the boss. Each
item drops from each respective difficulty. As an example, to
purchase Araz's Ritual Forge Mythic, you need to have defeated Mythic
Forgeweaver Araz. Trinkets from dungeons also require you to have completed
every keystone in time at level 12 or above.
To keep it very simple, your purchase order assuming you have access to every boss on Mythic Difficulty should be the following:
Below, we've compiled a list of details on the high-value items that you should prioritize with your Cartel Chips in The War Within Season 3 as an Feral Druid. This list is not exhaustive or in order of priority, and you are best served simming yourself for optimal results, as the best pick will depend on the gear you already have available.
- Due to the amount of burst dealt during
Berserk and through
Convoke the Spirits, the power of a 2-minute on-use trinket is very high for Feral. This is by far the strongest and most flexible option available, regardless of Hero Talent, and works for both Mythic+ and Raid situations.
- The cantrip boots are a flat increase to your
Reshii Wraps, and as such are better than any alternative in the slot by quite a large margin. These can be quite easy to obtain due to being a guaranteed drop per kill, but they're also highly contested. If you can't get hold of a pair but can pick up the Myth track version, these are a very high priority. This is especially true if you don't have a pair at all.
- The strongest raid trinket offering to pair with
Araz's Ritual Forge. This simply wins on tuning, and is highly contested among classes so is a good choice if you have a Mythic Loom’ithar kill. Either this or
Improvised Seaforium Pacemaker are your best pickups for your second trinket slot.
- The best trinket available for Enhancement from Mythic+, and is extremely
competitive with
Astral Antenna. This naturally syncs with your
Berserk and
Tiger's Fury window, so in some cases can perform better. Either of these choices are strong pickups.
- This has unique uses in certain specific raid encounters (in particular Nexus King Salhadaar and Dimensius The All Devouring Mythic) to improve your burst options. This is a niche alternative on-use though, so is very much an optional buy for Raid. In Mythic+ it can also allow you to pool up for key burst moments, but has a longer wind-up time at the start of a dungeon.

Or

As purchasing these items requires you to have defeated Mythic bosses to acquire them at the highest level, if you ever intend to kill those then hold off on buying a heroic version. You will only receive 3 total purchases through the remainder of the season, so use them wisely!
Reshii Wraps for Feral Druid
Added in Patch 11.2, the Reshii Wraps is a unique artifact cloak item
that can be obtained through the Ghosts of K'aresh quest chain. This starts at
item level 694, and as you progress through the campaign, upgrades to a final
item level of 730. This should always be used in Season 3,
as other cloaks have been removed from loot tables.
As a DPS, the unique effect is a high damage proc that also splits between enemies hit. This effect is amplified by the specific items available within Manaforge Omega:
Interloper's Reinforced Sandals - boots from The Soul Hunters. These significantly increase the rate your cloak effect triggers, and are a best-in-slot pickup at all times.
Band of the Shattered Soul - ring from Dimensius The All Devouring. Provides a niche extra defensive component to procs, which has some uses on certain encounters. Weaker stats means it's not very sought after.
The Reshii Wraps also come with one single Fiber Socket that
dictates which secondary stat it has, which can be changed at any time out of
combat. These can be acquired at Blue quality from Hashim on K'aresh, or
crafted by Tailoring at Epic quality. As Feral, you will be
using either
Energizing Fiber or
Pure Energizing Fiber for
Mastery.
For more information on acquiring and upgrading your Cloak, make sure to check ouir dedicated Reshii Wraps page that covers it in more detail:
D.I.S.C. Belt for Feral Druid
Previously introduced in Patch 11.1.7, the Durable Information Securing Container is a unique
belt that comes with additional proc effects. While this originally required
Overcharged Delves to complete, it can now be acquired from any Delve.
Due to nerfs that have come into effect in Patch 11.2.5, this is quickly outpaced by equivalent item-level options, and you should aim to replace this as soon as possible. If you're still using it, use the following powers until you can replace it:
- Single-Target -
Static Charge (Versatility)
- AoE / Open World -
Static Charge (Versatility)
For more information on how to acquire the belt and how it works, make sure to check out our dedicated D.I.S.C. page that can guide you through the steps!

Feral Druid Trinket Tier Lists
Raiding Trinket Tier List for Feral Druid
This Trinket Tier List mostly focuses on single-target throughput, as raid
encounters are mostly decided by your boss damage. Feral always aims to have one
on-use to pair with Berserk, and then a strong stat proc or passive
trinket to go alongside.

Mythic+ Trinket Tier List for Feral Druid
This Trinket Tier List has a broader scope, looking for trinkets that have
flexibility without extra conditions to get value out of them. This is due to
Mythic+ being more fluid and needing general-use items rather than extremely
specialized options. Even more-so than in raid, Feral is looking for an on-use
trinket to pair with Berserk, then a solid passive trinket to
use alongside.

Best Crafted Items for Feral Druid
Crafted gear for Feral in The War Within has a few choices depending
on what gear you currently have, and how many sparks you have access to. You should
ideally sim the optimal stats to craft for your particular character, but Critical
Strike and Mastery is usually a safe option with
Algari Missive of the Peerless.
Best Crafting Order for Feral Druid
- For your first craft, you have two options depending on if you are in a rush
to use your
Spark of Starlight:
- If you have two sparks, a Weapon —
Charged Halberd with
Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension. This should be paired with
Writhing Armor Banding with your next off-piece.
- If you have one spark (or don't need a weapon) — Craft an off-piece
and apply
Duskthread Lining. We recommend a low impact slot that does not conflict with Tier, such as
Rune-Branded Armbands.
- If you have two sparks, a Weapon —
- Craft another off-piece and apply
Duskthread Lining or
Writhing Armor Banding, depending on your choice. We recommend a low impact slot such as
Rune-Branded Waistband.
- After this, you are done with priority crafts and embellishments and can use sims to determine your best piece to upgrade with item level. Rings and Necks are good choices as they are very contested.
While there are some strong weapons available early in the Season, the advantage of having a 720 weapon immediately is very high. Your decision comes down to whether you want up-front power with that, or you're looking for long term best-in-slot setups.
Our general recommendation is that the value of an early weapon is so high,
that for most players it will almost certainly pay off investing in it early. You
can always switch over to double Duskthread Lining later when your gear is
more complete. Remember when crafting that all equippable two-handed agility
weapons are equal value, including
Charged Halberd,
Charged Crusher
and
Vagabond's Careful Crutch.
"Simming" Yourself as a Feral Druid
Throughout this page and elsewhere in our guide, we regularly refer to the importance of simming yourself on Raidbots. This is because every character is unique, and each individual gear piece you have access to can change what is best right now for you.
While we do offer generic sim charts and recommendations for Trinkets, these are not complete replacements for simming yourself. The only way to truly optimize your character to that degree is by making use of the tools available!
If you are new to simming and Raidbots, check out our detailed guide below.
Best Gear Upgrades for Feral Druid
As you complete endgame content in The War Within, you will gather upgrade
crests such as Gilded Ethereal Crest that can be used to upgrade
your items. Once you have upgraded a slot to a particular item level, any other
item in that slot can be upgraded without a Crest cost.
As Crests are a limited resource, ideally you want to obtain the highest item-level possible before committing any crests to upgrade it. If you are capable of completing higher Mythic+ dungeons, it is generally a good idea to wait until you have the slot maxed out with free upgrades first.
Below is a general slot priority you should upgrade your items in.
- Weapons
- Trinkets
- Helm/Chest/Legs
- Shoulders/Gloves/Belt/Boots
- Rings and Necks
- Cloaks and Bracers
