Introduction to the Cryo Element

In Arknights: Endfield, each Operator is aligned with a specific Element. These Elements all have unique capabilities and utilities. This page will provide a quick overview over the Cryo Element, the Operators using it, and its distinct features. For a general overview of what Elements do and how they interact, make sure to check out our Elements & Arts Reactions Guide:

The Cryo Element in Arknights: Endfield embodies the essence of ice. Some enemies will be particularly resistant to Cryo damage, while others might be weak to it and take increased damage. Operators with the Cryo Element will deal additional Cryo damage, shocking enemies, and debilitate them to take more damage.

Cryo Arts Reaction

Arts Reactions are special effects caused by applying Inflictions on enemies by dealing elemental damage. When applying multiple Inflictions of the same type, you will only generate a burst of damage of the respective element. Triggering Inflictions of different elements will cause Arts Reactions instead.

The Arts reaction for Cryo is called Solidification. In order to trigger Solidification, you will first have to apply either a Nature, Electric, or Heat Infliction, and then trigger a Cryo Infliction after. This will cause the enemy to Solidify, immoblizing them, and leaving them vulnerable to Shatter..

Shatter is a special effect that can be further utilized by Physical Operators. Hitting a Solidified enemy with a Physical Status will deal massive Physical damage, and end the Solidify effect immediately.
