Thanks Sottle for this deck. It is working great!

I have been wanting to make this kinda deck since the card reveals and it is nice to see your take on it.

However, after some play testing, I think removing the Humility + Kodo combination for a black Knight and a tuskarr jouster feels much more consistent mainly because of how much taunt is in the meta, plus the additional healing from the Tuskarr.

What is your take on these changes?

i think this deck has pleeeeeeenty of healing already, I found myself needing consistent answers to the board more than I needed additional healing. But Black Knight is definitely not a bad call right now, would not dispute that for a second.

Too gimmicky.

Any replacement for Harrison/Cairne? I don't have enough dust to craft 4 legendaries.

You'd need to get more Deathrattles in your deck if you cut Cairne, it's not enough for a reliable N'Zoth then.

On the ropes against a C'thun Priest:

Turn 8: LIVE INSECT (uses board to kill Rag)

Turn 9: Tirion & Redemption (dies to Auchenai + spells, Tirion comes back up and dies again to board)

Turn 10: N'Zoth introduces the DOUBLE TIRION

Running double redemption is the shit!

What about Harrison then? (if I craft Cairne). Any replacement?

Yeah Harrison is totally replaceable, just get another Deathrattle minion in instead like Twilight Summoner or Infested Tauren.

With so much draw, I find myself losing against the greedier mirror match up Nzoth Control Pallies (who have put less draw in their decks), due to me usually losing in the fatigue game. Couldn't we make room for an Elise, since your variation has so much draw power already? (thus increasing the likelihood of getting Golden Monkey quickly)

I am enjoying this deck so far. I swapped out the Solemn Vigils for Polluted Hoarders. You still draw a card, and you get a little more N'Zoth synergy.

Sottle you are genius! This deck is perfect right now with all the aggressive decks in standard. This deck is zoo's kryptonite. You don't even need to have played N'Zoth to completely crush zoo.

Is it possible to replace lightlord with firelord?

It's not really a direct replacement, but substituting another big late-game threat in Lightlord's place is ok, yes.

Can I replace Solemn Vigil? I don't have 5th BRM wing and I don't really wanna buy it just for 1 card.

Yeah, Polluted Hoarder is fine.

Any thoughts about StrifeCro version of this deck with double forbidden healing, corrupted sanabot and twilight summoner?

I've been seeing some versions of this deck that include selfless heroes. Any thoughts on taking out farseer and ooze to add them?

It's originally from Surrender I believe, but yes, i'm aware of it and like that build a lot too, trying to decide where I want to end up with this deck.

You don't need to buy a full wing. From now on you can craft all adventure cards.

You don't need to buy the 5th wing in BRM. You can just craft all adventure cards you want from now on.

Dave Kosak introduces us to the Monster Hunt, which will be available in a week.
The Lead Mission Designer was joined by two of his associates to discuss the newest PvE mode, which will come along with The Witchwood. Paul Nguyen talked about the four heroes. Tess Greymane has a Hero Power that lets her Discover any class card that has been played in a game (by both players) and add it to your hand.
Darius Crowley has an indestructible cannon minion that can be activated via Darius' Hero Power and fire at the minions across it. Positioning will matter, as you can kill two enemy minions at once and the Hero Power will refresh each time you kill a minion with your cannon. There weren't any details on Houndmaster Shaw or Toki, Time-Tinker, but it was hinted that the former hero will have something to do with Rush (just like its card counterpart).
Giovanni Scarpati discussed bosses and treasures. The Monster Hunt will feature over 45 unique boss encounters. As Ben Brode had revealed in an earlier interview, each hero will have its own final boss, called "nemesis fight". For Crowley it's Lord Godfrey, for Shaw it's Glinda Crowskin and for Toki it's her own future self! When you clear the Monster Hunt with all four heroes (and win four packs), you get to face Hagatha as the last boss. Ultimately, as far as the treasures are concerned, there are a few returning ones from the Dungeon Run, but most are new. There are also hero exclusive treasures, as well as unique treasures "dropping" from rare boss encounters.
You should definitely watch the video to get a glimpse of all the new stuff coming with the Monster Hunt. And don't forget: it's release date is April 26 at 10:00 am PDT!

      Ready for Action
If you played the Dungeon Run in Kobolds & Catacombs, the Monster Hunt will be eerily familiar—but much is different! Rather than choosing one of Hearthstone’s nine classes, you’ll take on the role of one of four veteran monster hunters, each with a special ability that you’ll need to make the most of if you hope to survive the hunt.
Your hunter will venture deep into the Witchwood on Hagatha’s trail, defeating a series of monstrous bosses who dare to cross your path. With each victory, you’ll build a stronger and stronger deck with the items you find. You may encounter some trusty old equipment out in the forest, but much of what you’ll find will be entirely new, including treasures unique to certain foes. Each monster hunter has their own favorite tricks—a special hero power or ability that you’ll need to master if you hope to survive the hunt. Each hunter also carries a grudge against a heinous nemesis in the woods: a unique boss that only they can track down to fight.

You’ll want to go on a Monster Hunt with every hunter, because each offers a quest that will earn you a Witchwood card pack. And if you’ve got the mettle to complete the Monster Hunt with all four hunters, you’ll finally have a chance to face off with the real witch in the woods: Hagatha! If you can free the wood from Hagatha’s curse, you’ll earn the gratitude of Gilneas and the Monster Hunter card back!

We hope you enjoyed learning more of what lurks ahead in Monster Hunt! We’re eager to hear your tales of The Witchwood on social media using the #Witchwood hashtag. Learn more about The Witchwood at TheWitchwood.com!
We’ll see you on the hunt!
