The latest new card to be revealed is a Rogue Common, Leeching Poison. It is the sixteenth card to be revealed so far.

Leeching Poison uses the new keyword Lifesteal. Lifesteal heals the hero for an amount equal to damage done, in the same way as Wickerflame Burnbristle.

In a vacuum, it seems that this card is not very good. Health totals tend to be a long way behind tempo gain in terms of how important they are to a deck, and playing Leeching Poison will often throw away a card for no gain in tempo. When put into context of the current meta, Rogue does need a heal fairly urgently. Unfortunately Leeching Poison is only an effective heal when put on a weapon with either high attack, or with high durability, and current rogue decks play neither.  Anyone looking to try to make this card work would do well to consider Assassin's Blade and work from there.

For more information on the upcoming expansion, and the cards that have been revealed so far, check out our Knights of the Frozen Throne hub.

Watch out! Rogue finally has healing!

Now only needs an actually good weapon to get any profit of this.

At worst, burglar rogue might give this a good use with Obsidian Shard and possible other class weapons.

Rogue finally gets its own source of healing - too little too slow and too late. At least, its low cost makes it relatively cyclable and a dependable combo activator... Rogues don't currently have the necessary support to focus on weapons however, and with the popularity of warrior and paladin and atiesh, you can be sure the odd ooze is going to be ruining your day, every day. Won't see play given what we know of the expansion.

Another filler card to ruin your packs. Good idea, bad execution, would need to also add like +1 atk to your current weapon to be somewhat viable imo.

Does it interact with Blade Flurry? Could this be a slight redeeming quality for it?

Just like Envenom Weapon does, so no interaction, as it destroys the weapon, and the spell makes the damage instead of the weapon.

Blade Flurry nerf will always remain as one of the most unfair nerfs ever done (together with Molten Giant, and the overkills of Warsong Commander and Starving Buzzard).

The excuse of "Blade Flurry limited card design" is no longer believable because then they would have made an actually good weapon or weapon buff.

That sucks. Was really hoping it might be a redeeming design for both this and BF. Could have solved a "healing" issue for Rogue.

I mean.  I applaud blizzard for the effort, but uh common, even on an assassins blade, that is only 3 health a turn unless you put a deadly poison on it or what not.  Like it is certainly neat, but probably most certainly  unplayable.

It would have been interesting during the oil meta - you could have seen huge heals from it!

using with shadowblade? its still only 3 hp, but could be used to clear and heal while taking no damage.

Definitely seems like the release of Shadowblade was aimed at this card, yeah.

      Jump into Hearthstone's tenth expansion!
The last expansion of the Year of the Raven is now live in all regions and we have compiled everything you need to know about it!
Rastakhan's Rumble introduces the new Overkill keyword and two different types of class cards - Spirits (Rare) and Loa (Legendary). As usual, each class will have two Legendaries: a Loa and the class Champion. The whole thematic of the expansion is that each class is a team of their own, so most class cards synergise well with each other. You can find all of the 135 cards revealed in our dedicated expansion hub.

Upon logging in, you will receive a bunch of free stuff. You will get one of the nine Legendary Loa, as well as two Spirits from the same class. You will also get 6 Rastakhan's Rumble packs for free - and an additional one if you participated in the voting that took place on the official site. These rewards won't be around forever, so grab them during the expansion's launch period!
The Rumble Run is the single-player adventure mode that accompanies this expansion. It will be released in 9 days from today, on December 13.
Don't forget to share your best pack openings, as well as some week 1 crazy decks that you like!
