Hi all,

First of all, sorry for my bad English, is not my native language :)

So I'm searching since some days, Enh shaman stat weight for sim. I looked on Simulation Craft, but it's look weird that mastery is so close to haste.

I think it is ok when you don't have gloves legendary. But with them, haste is way so far than mastery?

Thanks in advance for your help !

Hello there! Have been experimenting / struggling with enhancement for months.

First went full out with haste, wich make my stormstrike permament, some fights at target dummy i had constant stormbringer procs and stormstrikes.

More haste you have the more the gloves procc, so it should be the way to go, but since you can't rely on the procc cause it interferes alot while casting the spell etc etc, you can just google it & get a correct answer.

Agility=Haste=Mastery. It says in the Wordup guide, it depends alot on how you spend your maelstrom and what gear you have, alot of trinkets makes a big difference.

Think it's good to have around at least 30+% haste and then go for mastery, they say it is good to stay at 25%, IDK. Just a guess.

I prefer haste, haste makes you trigger stormbringer, stormbringer give you extra stormstrikes, stormstrikes spends maelstrom, maelstrom spending have a chance to trigger Smoldering Heart

So i changed my "Weigh" to mastery with all my gems and enchants, cause i already have without all the enchants/gems 35% haste.

And the trinket [Chronor Shard], proccs around every 10th secound, so i guess in my case, haste is not a problem.

Standing at the target dummy with estimated time around 2 minutes.

1). With Ascendance : 134.???.M DPS.

2nd). Without Ascendance, With Netherspike : 160.???M DPS.

This with food buff, Flask & prolonged pot..

I will try this out tonight in TOS HC.

Shamans are hard to figure out how to build, what made my shaman strong is the Chrono Shard & eye of the twisting nether, also Smoldering heart ofc. Hopefully i will get the procc more often, and it will be more stabile when i do not have ascendance.

As i mentioned i do not know yet. I will be back

My stats : 19% CritStrike , 33% Haste , 77% Mastery , 5% Versatility & 4.6 milion HP.

Lok tar ogar.

Haste proc trinkets are huge for Enhancement. I've been using both Bloodthirsty Instinct and Chrono Shard (with the set bonus), and even though they are lower item level, they provide way more value than their item level suggests. Yes, I am still recommending a trinket that dropped in the Emerald Nightmare, but its uptime is so high that it's hard to beat. Not only does it remain competitive, but it's only gotten better as the rest of our gear has scaled higher.

      About Us
Skunkworks is a guild for players who can not or do not want to commit to the time-intensive raid schedules of traditional "hardcore" guilds.
However, we still maintain a high caliber player environment and make an efficient use of our raiding time.
We raid Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 - 11:00 PST, just 8 hours a week and never more.

We are very protective of our guild environment and selective in recruitment. We are looking for solid players mechanically as well as intellectually.
We all get paid to deal with idiots, why should we pay to spend our leisure time with them as well?

Skunkworks has been around for multiple expansions and has historically always been at the top of the 2-night raiding guild scene.

      Hi
So, lately I have been looking around the web for someone to explain how I can insert an icon/bar that displays the "buff" Feral Spirit. I am mainly using the Tell Me When addon, but I had to go  through Weak Auras this time to get it right. I also want to mention that I would not have been able to get it right had I not imported the Weak Auras string from Wordup (author of the enhancement shaman guide). The reason for this being so complicated is because contrary to what you might think, Feral Spirit does not work as a buff. Therefore you will have to manually work around this problem to get it to work. I have added some pictures that will hopefully make the process easier.
PS. I am in no way an expert on either Tell Me When or Weak Auras, so be gentle...
      1) Tell Me When:

This is the general layout. If you dont want an icon, but a bar. You can go into the "group" tab (bottom right of tell me when) and select bar (on the very top)

This is how the layout inside Tell Me When should look after completion. Feral Spirit is no longer a "buff", so you will have to make a Combat Event where you manually enter the amount of seconds the combat event (Feral Spirit) should be active, in this case 15 seconds

This is important: Events to check --> Casts --> Spell Cast Success
After all that you should be ready to go!

      2) Weak Auras:

Feral Spirit is no longer a "buff", so you will have to make a Combat Log where you manually enter the amount of seconds the combat event (Feral Spirit) should be active, in this case 15 seconds

      Just scrolling down

All the way at the bottom you have to enter the Spell Name and the amount of seconds that the Combat Event (Feral Spirit) should be active.
Now you should be all ready to go!

Hi. This is my armory: Armory
      My logs: Logs
I think I should do more DPS in whole ToS HC but especially on fallen avatar.
      My questions:
i have a loot of trinkets and I'm not sure I should use those I use:
915ilvl Vial of Ceaseless Toxins and 890ilvlUnstable Arcanocrystal
I have 900ilvl Engine of Eradication
                  870ilvl Bloodthirsty Instinct
                  875ilvl Convergence of Fates
                  870ilvl  Spontaneous Appendages.
My goal is to get Smoldering Heart And what is the best choice parts of T20 set with this legendary and of course Eye of the Twisting Nether.
With this ring i have another question should i use Frostbrand? and I think last question for now: when i should use Crash Lightning after 6sec or after some stacks from T20 bonus?

      Hi everyone

I won't pretend to be a veteran or a very good player because I am not either one of them (I don't raid or push Mythic+). But I've played rpg/arpg for around 15 years now on PC and have 7 lvl 110s. So I am somewhat not idiot when it comes to playing a class. However with an Enh Shaman, I am feeling like one. This class feels paper thin to play and damage seems exactly meh. Let me explain a bit more.

I have a Frost DK, Sin Rogue, Havoc DH and a Ret Pally as melee. I felt confident while playing them that I can take on enemies and not die even if I pulled more than one. But when playing this Enh Shaman, I've died multiple times trying to do so. Not only that, it feels that a !@#$ty lvl 106 mob (same level as me) does more dmg per hit than I do. And mind you, this is not during dungeons but normal leveling. I've never felt this weak while playing any of my melee characters. I tried doing a Legion invasion to quickly level up and died basically half a dozen time doing every single invasion quest. I can't being to explain how frustrating that is.

Not only this, but damage wise every skill seems just not upto the mark when compared to other classes. My resource generator (Rockbiter) is a hand cramp inducing skill and I have to spam it a lot to generate Maelstrom which my other spenders just chew through. I get Stormbringer proc but its very few and far between and doesn't seem very effective even when it does. Isn't it supposed to be a nuke skill ?

I suppose this could be because of low points in my artifact and low level gear but I had the same situation on my other characters and it never felt bad like this is. I am losing my interest to play this class at all and no matter what rotation or build I try out, it is always the same result. I pull one enemy and then after killing it I spend my entire resource just to heal up.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and if it gets better at higher levels or if next patch improves our situation.

I know shamans are kinda messed up right now, what else is new.
But I'm up to 900 and my already underwhelming DPS has seen no significant increase. I'm pretty sure it's tied to my low haste rating, but I'd like to make sure and see if it's just that or something else I can work to change.

      https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/tichondrius/nimbonya

I'll Sim around 760k, This week I got 630k on Krosus, going up to 900k on Skorp and Tich.
I feel like this is all far too low, one of our top dps is a warlock at i897 and often easily goes 900k and up just on single target.
I could really use some help figuring out what I've done wrong and what I could improve.

My usual priority rotation works as follows:
      >Maintain Landslide/Flametongue/Hailstorm
      >Doom winds when off CD and Stormbringer proc'd.
      >Stormstrike when proc'd
      >LavaLash when proc'd
      >Stormstrike when off CD
      >Lavalash when 90+ Maelstrom
      >Rockbiter when -90 Maelstrom
Feral Spirit-Crash Lightning combo and Doom Winds I'll sometimes delay if there's an add/burn phase, and I have a habit of refreshing Flametongue and Hailstorm on CD if I don't have any procs. I'll also occasionally mismanage Maelstrom and need to do 2-3 Rockbiters to get back up to speed.

My opener consists of: Prolonged Power>Feral Spirit>Rockbiter>Crash Lightning>Flametongue>Frostbrand>Stormstrike
