Was kiting no longer necessary on Razorgore with the 1.12 abilities and buffs?   Because that was the absolute crux of the fight as I remember it back in the day, you couldn't possibly deal with with all the bigger adds so your tanks would be constantly kiting them to the two platforms, jumping down and gaining a bit of room as they started kiting toward the opposite side.    Meanwhile healers were using the invincible potions for a brief aggro respite, every dps was nuking other adds, etc.

Yeah I remember that too, really amazing old days! But with the current knowledge and gear, you just destroy all the adds 😞

Meh...yeah I was disappointed to learn it was going to be by the 1.12 patch's standards.    (Old timey voice "back in my day we had to hit shield discipline and then shield bash to try to keep threat!   You younguns and your shield slams don't know how good you have it!")

That people in classic are saying "Ragnaros was such an easy fight" make me sad...they don't realize how many buffs and changes occurred between 1.0 and the last patch for Naxx.

BWL doesn't have very many major changes to the encounters between the release and 1.12 patch, unlike MC which was in an absolutely gutted state. That being said, the player characters absolutely have massive changes (buffs) that will make us way stronger than it was at the time. Also we've had 3-6 months of FARMING MC to where everyone has damn near every piece they could want from there before even stepping foot into BWL.

I don't expect the raid to put up much resistance based on current data models, but that's mostly because people have so much more information at their hands. Could you imagine the WF races if you knew exactly how much HP, all the mechanics, and what consumables are perfect for each encounter months ahead of time? They'd be a cake walk. I'd bet pretty much anything a guild has BWL killed by midnight tonight, with it being a 6 PM release.

Blizzard shared more thoughts about bots and their banning thereof, specifically the fact that they've been removing more and more bot accounts, even after the big banwave from earlier this month, with as many as 40,000 more having been removed since then, across all regions.

This all comes after a statement of intent against botting, which wasn't taken very seriously by the community, which was then followed by a 30 instances a day limit, and then the 74,000 account banwave (which was actually a cumulative total from a few months).
      Actions Against Exploitation (source)
Since the launch of WoW Classic, we’ve taken action daily against accounts that were botting, hacking, and selling in-game services for real money. This continual effort has resulted in the average daily number of accounts actioned consistently increasing in the Americas, EU, Korea, and Taiwan. In May of this year, we witnessed a surge in the number of botters, and our intensification of efforts to eliminate them brought our average of actioned accounts upwards into the thousands per day.
Since our last post about this issue on June 17, we’ve continued to remove exploiters at a high pace, typically 2,000-3,000 per day, with over 4,000 accounts actioned on some days. This daily effort has resulted in actions taken against over 40,000 accounts since June 17 in the Americas, EU, Korea, and Taiwan.
We’re dedicated to driving the the exploiters away wherever we can, as we continue to make our response to this one of our highest priorities. This is a long-term effort that becomes continuously more difficult, as exploits and those who use them are driven by real money profit motives. We take action constantly, 24/7, to enforce the Blizzard End-User License Agreement. Any account that violates or assists others in violating license limitations on hacking, cheating, and other unauthorized use of the game is subject to suspension and removal.
As always, we greatly appreciate your reports. Player reports have been and will remain highly valuable to us, as we must evolve our detection and response methods to stay ahead of the organizations who would otherwise degrade the game for legitimate players.
      Thank you very much.

After some confusion over why the majority of nature resist gear wasn't available either before or during the AQ patch, Blizzard have replied with the exact times the gear was implemented and why, as well as provided a list of the specific items that won't be coming with the next phase and patch, as they were always intended as catch-up gear introduced in Naxxramas for people to more easily clear AQ.
      Nature Resist Gear (source)
Overall, the nature-resist gear that was released in original WoW in patch 1.11 was catch-up gear. It was released along with Naxx to help close the gap for guilds who were still dealing with trying to get certain pieces from Green Dragons and Maraudon because they were stuck on Huhuran.
To be specific, here’s a list of pieces that are not in WoW Classic 1.13.5:
Type Name Source Plate Ironvine Belt Blacksmithing Plate Ironvine Gloves Blacksmithing Plate Ironvine Breastplate Blacksmithing Leather Bramblewood Belt Leatherworking Leather Bramblewood Boots Leatherworking Leather Bramblewood Helm Leatherworking Head/Leg Ench Savage Guard Quest (Zandalar) Ring Band of Cenarius Quest: A Humble Offering Cloth Sylvan Shoulders Tailoring Cloth Sylvan Crown Tailoring Back Gaea’s Embrace Tailoring Cloth Sylvan Vest Tailoring We’re still considering precisely when to release this gear, given their usefulness and purpose. As with original WoW, that time will come later, after AQ is opened and being raided.

We have the start date for the next phase of WoW Classic, with the war effort to open the gates of Ahn'Qiraj, Phase 5 and patch 1.13.5 starting on July 28th in the US, 29th for EU! The war effort will being and the quest chain for the scepter (as well as the bigger war for the Scarab Lord title on each server, and the overall prestige of being the first server to open the gates) will begin, with the raids coming when the gates open.
      AQ Opening (source)
We’re putting the finishing touches on the next patch for WoW Classic. Version 1.13.5 will go live in July. With that patch, we’ll be ready to unlock the content we’ve been testing on the PTR.
The Ahn’Qiraj content will unlock with the weekly raid reset on July 28 for all realms in this region.
At that time, players can begin the quest chain to craft a Scepter of the Shifting Sands, and players can turn in gathered resources to advance the Ahn’Qiraj war effort.
Once both of those activities are completed on a given realm, the gates of Ahn’Qiraj will be available to be opened.
      We’ll see you there!

In the "I like to do big pulls because why not" category, we have Pastouw setting up a truly gigantic pull in Maraudon on Classic, featuring 475 mobs and a whole lot of blizzard. What you don't see in the video is the 22 minutes of setup required for said pull, but at least we get to see the dramatic and very jumpy outcome.
And here are some comments from the author and you can check out his gear here and talents here.

Exehn is back after his level 10 dodge/explosive sheep single pull of almost all of Deadmines in Classic and he's set his sights on PvP! This time his rogue has 117% dodge with some help from Blessing of Kings, and he's taking on a level 60 rogue and druid to test is he will really be immune to their attacks. Here are the results:
After he was done humiliating people in duels, it was on to some battleground action, with Warsong Gulch getting the dodge treatment. As you can imagine, WSG has slightly more than 0 casters, so he needed to bring a healer along for those pesky non-melee users. The combat is much more interesting in this one, as he takes down level 19s and they somehow really can't figure out they're not doing any damage to him whatsoever:
In case you were wondering what his exact gear and consumable setup for achieving over 100% dodge is, check out this spreadsheet for the details.
