Recommended Posts

We've got some new Heroes of the Storm guides available on the site. The goal of map-based tier lists is to inform you about how strong and popular each Hero is on each battleground.

If you wonder how strong each Hero is based on the map, look no further! Elitesparkle has written a guide that acts as a tier list for each battleground!

Looks great, thanks.

I only play ARAMs though so I have my own tierlist.

S Tier: Mei, Imperius, Orphea, Mephisto, Decard, Hanzo, Junkrat, Stukov, Lucio, Zul'jin, Gul'dan, Chromie, Li-Ming, Kael'thas, Azmodan, Zagara, Nazeebo, Valla, Stitches, Alexstraza, Ana, Johanna, Arthas.

Good (Tier 1): Anduin, Maiev, Kel'Thuzad, Garrosh, Alarak, Artanis, Anub'Arak, Brightwing, Li Li, Tychus, Malfurion, Tassadar, E. T. C., Gazlowe, Tyrael, Auriel (post-16).

Decent (Tier 2): Hogger, Deathwing (tier 1 if played by an experienced player), Mal'Ganis, Cassia, Genji, Lt. Morales, Kharazim, Sylvanas, Thrall, Jaina, Rehgar, Muradin, Sonya, Uther, Tyrande, Zeratul, Falstad, Varian (tank/colossus), Rexxar, Greymane (as a suicide bomber), Nova.

Mediocre (Tier 3): Yrel, D. Va, Varian (twin), Ragnaros, Zarya, Medivh, Lunara, Chen, Dehaka, Kerrigan.

Situational picks: Malthael (with Ana), Xul (as a solo tank), Lunara (as an only range dot applier), The Butcher (against a weak enemy team), Raynor (if you can win before 10 min mark), Murky (if played well and survived through lvl 20), Samuro (win-more pick), Valeera (against weak enemies), Probius (as a win-more pick),

No-no picks (doesn't meak you cannot with with them) : Illidan, Diablo, Fenix, Whitemane, Tracer.

Why did I even spend time to write this...Anyway, maybe I forgot someone, but this is my personal ARAM tier list.

Since doubles and triples are possible on ARAM, some of the heroes might change tiers when doubled. Like two Kael's obviously would land lower, as well as two Chromies in some comps, while two Azmos are 2x the raw damage insanity.
