The Traveler is the character you start with, being a 5-Star Sword character with no set Element. Instead, you choose the element you want to use. While the Traveler tends to be very simple in design, Geo is a peculiar elements to use, as Geo is generally viewed as one of the weaker elements to use. But despite this, the Geo Traveler can excel pretty well as a support unit, providing good damage buffs to your team and can act as a Battery for other characters, especially other Geo Characters like Navia and Noelle.

Geo Traveler's Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths
Can be used as a free option whenever you need Geo.
- Their strongest weapon Exaiphanes Blade can be obtained for free in Shneznaya.
- Can deal surprisingly respectable damage in a short amount of field time with their Skill, Burst, and special Charged Attack.
- Provides a high amount of Geo Constructs, giving enhanced synergy with someone like Zhongli.
Weaknesses
Skill and Burst can push enemies away if used incorrectly.
- Has essentially no off-field Geo Application, making them not great at dealing Lunar-Crystalize damage.
- Deals less damage if your team can't freely swap to them to use the Elemental Skill multiple times in a rotation.
- Asides from Zhongli there's no benefit to having as many Geo Constructs as Traveler provides.

Geo Traveler's Talents
Normal Attack
Performs up to 5 rapid strikes.
Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash 2 rapid sword strikes.
Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
You disgorge a meteorite from the depths of the earth, dealing AoE Geo DMG.
The meteorite is considered a Geo Construct, and can be climbed or used to block attacks.
Hold
This skill's positioning may be adjusted.

Energizing the Geo deep underground, you set off expanding shockwaves.

Geo Traveler's Ascension Passive Talents
Reduces Starfell Sword's CD by 2s.
The final hit of a Normal Attack combo triggers a collapse, dealing 60% of ATK as AoE Geo DMG.
Draw new strength from journeys past. For every element you have resonated with, you gain additional buffs.
Additionally, when nearby party members become protected by a shield, when the shield is replaced for any reason, or when Geo Constructs are created, the Traveler will receive 1 stack of Blade of Archaic Petra, max 3 stacks. Up to 1 stack may be obtained every second in this way. After obtaining 3 stacks of Blade of Archaic Petra, performing a Charged Attack will consume all stacks of Blade of Archaic Petra and transform into the special Charged Attack: Rockfell.
Charged Attack: Rockfell
- Each Charged Attack hit deals increased Geo DMG. Increase in DMG is equal to 120% of Traveler's ATK.
- For 15s after hitting an opponent, nearby party members will have their shield strength temporarily increased by 20%.
- Charged Attack: Rockfell can be triggered up to once every 15s.
Geo Traveler's Constellations
Party members within the radius of Wake of Earth have their CRIT Rate increased by 10% and have increased resistance against interruption.
When the meteorite created by Starfell Sword is destroyed, it will also explode, dealing additional AoE Geo DMG equal to the amount of damage dealt by Starfell Sword.
Increases the Level of Wake of Earth by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
The shockwave triggered by Wake of Earth regenerates 5 Energy for every opponent hit.
A maximum of 25 Energy can be regenerated in this manner at any one time.
Increases the Level of Starfell Sword by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
The barrier created by Wake of Earth lasts 5s longer.
The meteorite created by Starfell Sword lasts 10s longer.
