Introductions

Bronya is a 5-Star Wind Character following the Path of Harmony. She is a hypercarry support who specializes in boosting DPS characters that frequently use their Skills to maximise damage output. Her turn advancement and powerful buffs make her an exceptional support character for many teams, especially in Crit-focused compositions.
Our Bronya Build Guide will show you the best Light Cones, Relics, and team compositions to help you build the best Bronya.

Bronya's Best Light Cone

Listed below are the Light Cones we recommend for Bronya.

A Grounded Ascent
After the wearer uses Skill or Ultimate on one ally character, the wearer regenerates 6 / 6.5 / 7 / 7.5 / 8 Energy and the ability's target receives 1 stack of "Hymn" for 3 turn(s), stacking up to 3 time(s). Each stack of "Hymn" increases its holder's DMG dealt by 15.0 / 17.3 / 19.5 / 21.8 / 24.0%. After every 2 instance(s) of Skill or Ultimate the wearer uses on one ally character, recovers 1 Skill Point.

A Grounded Ascent is currently Bronya's most universal Light Cone. This Light Cone allows Bronya to regenerate energy after using her skill or ultimate on an ally allowing her to keep uptime on her ultimate as well as providing the targeted ally with a stack of "Hymn" which increases their damage up to 45% for 3 stacks. Not only does this regenerate her energy but she will also recover 1 skill point after every 2 instances she uses her skill or ultimate. This Light Cone is great for Bronya in teams where the DPS is mostly SP negative.
But the Battle Isn't Over
Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 10.0 / 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0 / 18.0% and regenerates 1 Skill Point when the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally. This effect can be triggered once after every 2 uses of the wearer's Ultimate. When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 30.0 / 35.0 / 40.0 / 45.0 / 50.0% more DMG for 1 turn(s).
As Bronya's signature Light Cone this is another strong option for her that provides her with increased ERR again allowing her to keep uptime on her ultimate as well as recovers a SP after every other use of her ultimate on an ally. When using her skill the next ally's action aside from her own deals increased damage as well by 30% at S1.
Dance! Dance! Dance!
When the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies' actions are Advanced Forward by 16.0 / 18.0 / 20.0 / 22.0 / 24.0%.

Sources: Stellar Warp
Dance! Dance! Dance! is a 4-star Light Cone that will allow Bronya to advance all allies' actions up to 24% at S5 after she uses her ultimate therefore helping to increase the team's overall performance.
Past and Future
When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 16.0 / 20.0 / 24.0 / 28.0 / 32.0% increased DMG for 1 turn(s).

Sources: Echo of War, Forgotten Hall Store, Mission Reward
Past and Future can also be a good option for Bronya to use, it provides increased damage up to 32% at S5 for 1 turn to the ally who takes the next action after Bronya uses her skill. At S5 this Light Cone may be considered slightly better than But the Battle Isn't Over providing the additional 2% DMG.
Planetary Rendezvous
After entering battle, if an ally deals the same DMG Type as the wearer, DMG dealt increases by 12.0 / 15.0 / 18.0 / 21.0 / 24.0%.

Sources: Stellar Warp
When pairing Bronya with a Wind Element DPS ally this Light Cone is a good option as it increases the damage dealt by allies who share her element type by up to 24% after entering battle.

Listed below are some Light Cones that Bronya can use in more circumstantial situations.

If Time Were a Flower
Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 36.0 / 42.0 / 48.0 / 54.0 / 60.0%. After the wearer launches Follow-Up ATK, additionally regenerates 12 Energy and gains "Presage," lasting for 2 turn(s). While the wearer has "Presage," all ally targets' CRIT DMG increases by 48.0 / 60.0 / 72.0 / 84.0 / 96.0%. When entering battle, the wearer regenerates 21 Energy and gains "Presage," lasting for 2 turn(s).

Sources: Event Warp (limited)
This Light Cone can work very well for Bronya under the condition that you have her at E4 as this is the only way that she will be able to activate the follow-up ATK part of this Light Cone. This is important as it is the only other way for her to gain "Presage", which grants all allies 48% increased Crit DMG. If you don't have her at E4 you can still take advantage of the 36% Crit DMG buff and when entering battle it regenerates 21 energy and provides her with Presage for 2 turns.
Epoch Etched in Golden Blood
Increases the wearer's ATK by 64.0 / 80.0 / 96.0 / 112.0 / 128.0%. After using Ultimate to attack, recovers 1 Skill Point(s). After the wearer uses their Skill on one ally character, increases the Skill DMG dealt by the target by 54.0 / 67.5 / 81.0 / 94.5 / 108.0% for 3 turn(s).

Sources: Event Warp (limited)
Another option that can work well for Bronya, which provides her with 64% increased attack. The skill point regeneration part of this Light Cone won't take effect due to her ultimate not being used to attack enemies, but after using her skill on an ally she increases that target's Skill DMG by 54% for 3 turns. This Light Cone is mainly used when Bronya is in a team with a DPS that uses mainly their skill to deal damage as this focuses on increasing the damage dealt by that skill by a significant amount.

Bronya Build Comments

Bronya is a strong support character focusing on boosting DPS characters making her ideal for hypercarrying. Bronya's main power comes from her Skill which immediately advances an ally's action while also removing a debuff and increasing their damage. Bronya works best when she acts straight after her DPS which will allow them to attack again almost instantly. Bronya can work in a range of different play styles for example, one where she stays slower than the main DPS or where she is designed with much higher speed to constantly bring slower allies forward.

Bronya's kit can be difficult to optimise because turn order and speed are extremely important. Bronya's Talent further complicates this by advancing her own turn after using her Basic Attack which enables you to alternate between Skills and Basic Attacks to save SP.

Bronya's Ultimate enhances the entire team by increasing attack and granting a large Crit DMG boost that scales with her own Crit DMG stat. Her Crit buff makes her one of the strongest offensive supports available. Combined with her skill buffs, she can provide attack, damage and Crit DMG boosts all at once.

Ultimately, Bronya's most notable advantage is her ability to grant extra turns, since most other actions directly turn into more damage. However, frequent use of her skill consumes a large amount of SP, so managing this is important in longer lasting battles. In shorter battles you can often ignore this and use her to her maximum potential.

Bronya's Best Teams

Bronya's Best Eidolons

  • E1 – Provides a 50% fixed chance of recovering a skill point after using her skill. This is needed for Bronya as she uses her skill often which consumes a heavy amount of SP.
  • E6 – The damage boost effect duration is increased for a turn after being activated by the skill on an ally.
  • E4 – After a basic attack is used by an ally on an enemy with wind weakness Bronya immediately launches 1 instance of Follow-Up ATK dealing wind damage at 80% of her attack. This is vital especially if you are using the Light Cone If Time Were a Flower which requires a follow-up attack in order to activate a specific mechanic.
