Aglaea Build Comments
Aglaea's gameplay and build choices focus around increasing the uptime of her Supreme Stance state and maximising abilities used during that window. Because of this there ends up being several different ways of building Aglaea to take advantage of Speed Tuning and making her turns line up with her best support units Action Advance units.
With Sunday teams there are three different ways of setting up Aglaea and Sunday: Slow Aglaea - Base SPD Aglaea (100-110 SPD) and a fast Sunday (154+ SPD), Fast Aglaea - 164+ (Signature Cone, Character Sheet SPD - >170 in combat with Hero Set) SPD Aglaea and a 135-136 SPD Sunday and finally Sunday + 1 - Aglaea with any SPD in combat without ult up and Sunday with 1 less Speed. I will go into more detail on each setup and their pros and cons below.
Slow Aglaea
This setup forgoes Speed Tuning to stack a lot of CRIT Substats on gear, getting to 80% CRIT Rate so she will have 100% CRIT Rate with Sunday's Talent Buff and then getting as much CRIT DMG as possible. This setup runs ATK% Boots instead of SPD Boots.
This build makes Aglaea do a colossal amount of damage while she is in Supreme Stance but comes at a cost of making it take far longer to rebuild your Ultimate after it falls off. This setup relies on Sunday outside of Ultimate to generate stacks for Garmentmaker and rebuild her energy as she is far too slow herself.
Without E1 this setups overall performance is 2-3% lower than the other two options due to the lower uptime on Ultimate you get and the less efficiency you have on Sundays Action Advances while the ultimate is up. With E1 this build can be competitive at Medium investments with the High Speed Aglaea build if Sunday is appropriately Speed Tuned for Slow Aglaea.
While this setup can be easy to get off the ground due to only requiring CRIT DMG and CRIT Rate it ends up being harder to scale up beyond mid investment as you reach CRIT Rate Cap with Sunday pretty quickly with a CRIT Rate body and approximately 10 Substats dedicated to CRIT Rate with the only other efficient stat being CRIT DMG which makes scaling up from around 26 total useful Substats to mid 30s is challenging as getting 16-18 of a single Substat is very hard.
Additionally, this setup requires heavily investing in SPD substats for Sunday which can be difficult to get and makes him harder to slot into other teams without adjusting his gear for them.
Fast Aglaea
This setup focuses on Speed Tuning to optimise the number of turns Aglaea gets, maximising the amount of damage she deals within her Ultimate as well as making sure she recovers it quickly. The other advantage of this setup is that it nicely syncs to the duration of Robins Ultimate buff, which lasts for a fixed 90 SPD duration making it last perfectly for four natural hits from Aglaea, two from Sunday, and one from recasting Ultimate.
After reaching the 164 SPD minimum sheet SPD (>170 in combat with 4set buff) the next priority is getting to 100% in combat CRIT Rate after accounting for your support unit buffs like the 20% CRIT Rate from Sunday or the 10% CRIT Rate from Remembrance Trailblazer.
This setup can be cumbersome to get running due to requiring a lot of SPD substats to get going but has the advantage of making Sunday a fair bit easier to gear as you only need to gear him for CRIT DMG substats and Health with a couple of SPD substats to get to 135. This other advantage of leaving Sunday around 135 SPD is that it makes him far easier to slot into teams with other carries as 134 SPD is a common breakpoint for carries, and this would only need them to be at 136 SPD to be 1 faster than him.
This setup scales extremely well for extremely invested characters as it takes about 10 substats dedicated to CRIT Rate, 9 dedicated to SPD, with the rest dedicated to CRIT DMG. Due to the more even spread it becomes easier to get higher average upgrades on each of your relics, even if obtaining the relics initially is more time consuming or expensive.
Sunday+1
This setup operates on the standard practice of having your Advance Unit (Sunday) be 1 SPD less than the base SPD on the unit. This is equivalent to having your Aglaea to be 1 faster than your Sunday which can be more convenient to think about if you use Sunday for other characters. This setup is the worst overall performing of the three setups varying from anywhere from 2-8% behind Fast Aglaea setups depending on the exact SPD of both characters and when their turns align but can make up for it in comfort and ease of building her as well as overall Trailblaze Power Efficiency.
Just like the other two setups reaching 80% CRIT Rate so she will have 100% CRIT Rate with Sunday's Talent Buff is the Second Priority after making sure she is faster than Sunday, after which stack as much CRIT DMG as you can get. Due to not needing precise SPD amounts it can be comfortable to aim for standard breakpoints like 134/161 or just put on whatever gear you can find trying to get the best overall CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG ratio possible while maintaining that Aglaea outspeeds Sunday.
Non-Sunday Teams
Non Sunday teams are unfortunately a lot weaker than Sunday Teams but are still completely viable. We suggest playing another Action Advance unit in Sundays place like Bronya to make building Aglaeas Ultimate back faster.
Without Sunday on the team you can stack as much CRIT Rate as you like up to 100% and do not have to stop at 80%. Getting to 100% CRIT Rate will still be damage efficient but it becomes harder to get there while still getting good SPD and CRIT DMG. We still suggest building Aglaea fast in non Sunday teams to try to minimise her downtime as much as possible, targeting 150+ SPD if possible, but prioritising CRIT Rate equally as much.

Best Synergies for Aglaea

Sunday is Aglaea's absolute best partner since he synergises perfectly with her. He provides a very large DMG% buff, a 20% CRIT Rate buff, and a large generates a whopping 70 Energy for Aglaea every time he uses it which helps immensely with maintaining her Ultimate or building towards it after it falls off, especially without E1. Additionally, all of Sunday's buffs work on Memosprites.
Finally, Sunday's skill is also an 100% Action Advance that also advances the targets Memosprite as well as the target. Getting more turns on top of his already ridiculous buffs is just the icing on the cake that makes him completely unparalleled when compared to other units for Aglaea teams.

Robin is an incredibly powerful and versatile Harmony Support unit. Robin provides a large DMG % buff as well as a huge amount of flat ATK. These buffs are Auras and thus apply to both Aglaea and Garmentmaker. The flat ATK is not as powerful on Aglaea as it is on some other DPS but Aglaea makes up for this by triggering her Concerto damage twice with each of her Enhanced Basic ATK, as well as triggering it with Garmentmakers Skill uses. The Action Advance from Robin's ultimate is also incredible for Aglaea as she is almost always ran with another Action Advance unit, making Robin's Ultimate basically two extra turns for Aglaea.

Tribbie is an incredibly powerful and versatile Harmony Support unit. Tribbie provides a All-Type RES PEN Aura to the entire team, including Memosprites, as well as having a 30% DMG taken Vulnerability Aura on enemies from her Ultimate which is always up. These combined with her relatively high damage output for a Harmony unit makes her a strong contender for the 2nd Support Slot, especially since Aglaea has no issues providing Tribbie energy as each of her Joint Attacks count as two hits.

Cipher is a new Nihility based Debuff unit that provides a 40% increased DMG taken aura on all enemies simply for existing. Additionally, Cipher records 24% of the damage dealt by anyone to her Patron target and 16% of the damage dealt by anyone to off targets to later be dealt as True Damage with her ultimate. Just these two effects alone already result in a large increase in DPS comparable to Tribbie's.

Huohuo is the best sustain unit for Aglaea as her ultimate restores 70 of Aglaea's Energy and Energy is the most important resource for Aglaea as it keeps her Ultimate up.

Aglaea's Best Teams
Aglaea works quite well with most sustain units but we do not suggest playing Aventurine as his shields will expire on Aglaea relatively often making her vulnerable. The sustain unit in each team can be swapped out.
This is not a comprehensive list of teams. The inclusion or exclusion of any given team does not necessarily reflect its power level.
