Character and Kit Overview
Yukong is a support who offers strong offensive buffs and solid Break utility, but she is considered one of the more difficult characters to play effectively. While her kit can provide high damage amplification, it requires precise speed tuning and careful turn management to get consistent value.
Yukong's enhanced Basic Attack provides decent personal damage and excellent Toughness, letting her contribute to Break damage while generating Skill Points. However, her main strength lies in her Skill, which grants ATK buffs to the team that are consumed as allies take turns. This makes her buffs powerful but short, meaning correct turn order is essential.
Her Ultimate further boosts her supportive value by adding CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG on top of her ATK buffs, while also dealing a good amount of single target damage. When timed correctly, she can provide a strong burst of buffs at once, significantly boosting a main DPS output.
The main drawback of Yukong is how strict her timing requirements are. Even small changes in SPD or action order can cause her buffs to miss the intended damage dealer, making her much less reliable than other supports. This leads to inconsistency unless the player actively manages turn order throughout. She does have some useful bonus abilities though, including debuff resistance, team-wide Imaginary damage boost, and improved energy generation during her buff state, which help smooth out her gameplay slightly. However, these do not fully remove her reliance on precise setup.
Overall, Yukong can be a strong support when played correctly, but her complexity and strict timing requirements mean she is often outdone by simpler and more consistent options in most teams.
