March 7th (Preservation) Build Comments
Character Overview
March 7th provides strong single target-shields while contributing follow-up attacks. Thanks to her ability to Freeze groups of enemies, cleanse allies, and manipulate enemy targeting, March remains a decent option capable of preventing incoming damage through crowd control as much as through direct sustain.
Kit Overview
March 7th's kit revolves around shielding allies, triggering follow-up attacks, and controlling enemy turns. Her Skill grants a decent shield that also increases the ally's aggro, making it ideal for durable allies or for redirecting attacks away from more fragile teammates. Whenever a shielded ally is hit, her Talent launches a counterattack, generating additional damage and helping recharge her Ultimate.
March 7th's Ultimate deals Ice damage to all enemies with a chance to Freeze them, stopping enemy actions and creating valuable opportunities for the team. While its base Freeze chance starts relatively low, her third trace upgrade significantly improves its consistency, allowing March to function as a capable crowd control support. Her first trace also adds extra support by cleansing debuffs when she uses her skill.
March is relatively Skill Point-hungry compared to more recent sustain characters and offers limited offensive contribution outside of her Freeze. As a result, she performs best in teams that can support her Skill Point demands or in encounters where crowd control provides more value than damage or healing.

March 7th (Preservation)'s Best Eidolons
- E6 – March 7th's most important Eidolon. Allies who have gained a shield through her Skill receive healing at the beginning of each turn. This allows March to provide healing outside of her turn to allies.
- E4 – E4 is great as it lets March 7th counterattack one extra time each turn, and each counter deals more damage based on 30% of her DEF, increasing both her damage output and the value of building her DEF.
- E2 – It automatically shields the most vulnerable ally at the start of battle, improving team survivability with a DEF scaling shield that lasts 3 turns.
- E1 – Freezing enemies restores Energy, letting March 7th use her Ultimate more often for better crowd control and team support.
