Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky

We do not suggest giving this Lightcone to Cyrene as it would be best used on Hyacine for overall team DPS. This Lightcone is not stackable so don't run two copies.
Time Woven Into Gold

If you still play Aglaea then we do not suggest giving this to Cyrene. Running this over Memory's Curtain Never Falls would be a small increase in damage.
To Evernight's Stars

This Lightcone also has higher Base HP, a HP % boost and a DMG % boost to further boost Cyrene's personal damage.
We do not suggest giving this to Cyrene if you have Evernight as it would be best used on Evernight. This Lightcone cannot stack, so do not run two copies.

Character Explanation
Cyrene is a support that provides damage buffs from four main sources:
- Her Skill: Bloom, Elysium of Beyond — This causes all allies to deal True DMG equal to 24% (at Lv10) of their damage dealt. This is a zone that lasts 2 turns but after she transforms is permanent and does not need to be refreshed.
- Her Talent: Hearts Gather as One — 20% (at lv10) increased DMG for all allies.
- Her A2 Trace: Causality in Trichotomy — While Cyrene has 180 SPD or higher all allies DMG dealt is increased by 20%.
- Her Memosprite Skill This Ode, to All Lives — This applies a unique buff to Chrysos Heirs or a 40% DMG buff for 2 turns to non Chrysos Heirs. For more Information see the "Buff Priorities" section or our Teams Page for more information about each individual Chrysos Heir.
Cyrene's Memosprite has no inherent SPD and instead only acts when Cyrene uses her Ultimate Verse ◦ Vow ∞ or Reunion at First Sight.
When you use Cyrene's Memosprite Skill you can choose to either buff an ally or cast Minuet of Blooms and Plumes if you do not think any allies are worth casting buffs on. Minuet of Blooms and Plumes does quite a lot of damage and gains additional bounces from Ode to ██ — 1 per ally or memosprite apart from Cyrene and her Memosprite, for a maximum of 7 total hits (original + 6 bounces).
Cyrene's Ultimate uses "Recollection" instead of energy. Cyrene's first Ultimate in a fight is Verse ◦ Vow ∞ and requires 24 or more Recollection (max 27) to cast and will consume 12 Recollection, activate all other allies Ultimates, Summon Cyrene's Memosprite and transform Cyrene granting her CRIT Rate and enhancing her Basic ATK. Future Ultimates casts (Reunion at First Sight) will need 12 Recollection and only grant her Memosprite an extra turn.
Cyrene's Main source of Recollection is from her Talent Hearts Gather as One. At the start of Combat or when Cyrene takes action she will give one stack of "Future" to all allies. When they take an action the stack of "Future" will be consumed to grant one Recollection. This basically means that for every time Cyrene acts every other ally can generate 1 Recollection. Cyrene's A6 Trace Child of Remembrance enhances this by making Memosprites immediately gain Future when summoned and not consume it. This makes Remembrance by far the best units for generating Recollection as both the Memosprite and the Memomaster can generate stacks.
Cyrene can also generate 3 Recollection on each of her turns by using either her Skill Bloom, Elysium of Beyond (Before Transforming) or her Enhanced Basic ATK To Love and Tomorrow ♪ (After Transforming). We recommend using her Skill as much as possible using all excess Skill Points to speed up the time it takes to get to her first Ultimate as Cyrene is relatively weak before transforming compared to other Supports.
Every time Cyrene uses her Ultimate she will gain a stack of Story from Ode to ██. When Cyrene reaches 3 Story she will consume it and her Memosprite will take an extra turn and automatically cast Minuet of Blooms and Plumes.
Build Advice
When building Cyrene it is incredibly important to reach at least 180 SPD as this enables her A2 Trace Causality in Trichotomy. It is worth sacrificing other Substats or using a slightly worse Relic Set like Messenger Traversing Hackerspace or 2pc-2pc 6% SPD sets in order to reach this minimum.
Even after reaching 180 SPD it is Cyrene's best stat by far and we would strongly suggest trying to reach 200 SPD as that is a breakpoint for turns, giving her an extra turn every 50 AV (3 turns in 150 AV, 2 turns in 100 AV). SPD is her best Stat for damage until she reaches 240 SPD where her Res Pen from Causality in Trichotomy is capped.
We recommend trying to get as close to 50% CRIT Rate as possible as a secondary priority to SPD. Getting Cyrene to 100% CRIT Rate post transformation is a solid DPS increase in Memosprite teams where she gets a large amount of CRIT DMG from Evernight and Remembrance Trailblazer. Outside of Memosprite Teams CRIT Rate is a lot less impactful but still her best 2nd stat to aim for.
When considering items, if you are below 180 SPD then the only stat that matters is SPD. Over 180 SPD each additional SPD roll is worth approximately 3.3% DPS for Cyrene, and HP% or CRIT DMG are worth approximately 1.5% each.
We recommend using either a HP% body or a CRIT DMG body as they end up close with an optimised Cyrene. The HP% body is slightly more damage in Memosprite teams as they give you a glut of CRIT DMG from support buffs but both are very very close so either work. Another advantage of using a HP% body is that it makes Cyrene more durable in Sustainless Setups which is good for Mydei or Anaxa teams.
As Cyrene does not use energy an Energy Regeneration Rate rope does nothing, use a HP% Rope!
Buff Priorities
Cyrene's Buffs have different effects depending on the character they are used on. Some buffs are Permanent buffs that last the entire fight, some are temporary buffs that last for a specific number of turns or uses, and some provide a single use bonus. There are also a few hybrid buffs that have a long lasting buff and an immediate effect. We will go into slight detail on each buff here but if you want more information on each buff and how it affects that character check the Teams Page.
Non-Chrysos Heirs receive 40% (At Lv6) damage for 2 turns.
Due to how Cyrene's Ultimate works she will always be able to buff two Chrysos Heirs with the Remembrance Stacks she builds for her First Ultimate. For most teams this will mean you can buff both other characters as it is not worth directly targeting Sustain units.
Here is a priority of which targets to buff first:
- Phainon (Permanent Buff) Ode to Worldbearing
- Hysilens (Permanent Buff) Ode to Ocean
- Evernight (Permanent Buff) Ode to Time
- Cerydra (Permanent Buff) Ode to Law
- Aglaea (Temporary Buff) Ode to Romance It is worth making sure Aglaea has this buff at all times.
- Remembrance Trailblazer (Permanent Buff) Ode to Genesis
- Cipher (Permanent Buff) Ode to Trickery
- Mydei (Single-use Buff) Ode to Strife
- Non-Chyrsos Heir Main DPS units to maintain the 40% DMG (at Lv6) 2 Turn Buff.
- Anaxa (Single-use Buff) Ode to Reason
- Hysilens (For Energy Generation Only) Ode to Ocean
- Aglaea (For Energy Generation Only) Ode to Romance
- Castorice (Permanent Buff) Ode to Life and Death Only worth it on fights with incredibly high damage output where she will overcap a lot of Newbud stacks before her turn.
- Tribbie (Permanent Buff) Ode to Passage Only worth on longer encounters where this can accumulate more damage than attacking with Cyrene.
- Fallthrough Use an attack instead of buffing!
The buffs for Hyacine (Ode to Sky) and Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae (Ode to Earth) work differently to the other buffs. These units will always receive their buff when you use your Memosprite skill no matter who you target but have an enhanced effect when you directly target them. These effects boost the survivability of your team and do little for DPS so they are only efficient when you are desperate.

Cyrene's Best Eidolons
We do not recommend investing in Cyrene's Eidolons beyond E1 or E2 as those are quite powerful and the most efficient stopping points. The reasoning for this is explained below:
Cyrene's E1 Epics, Born on a Blank Slate is a massive increase to her burst damage and allows Cyrene to use 20% more Ultimates due to the Recollection granted each time this triggers. Overall this Eidolon is excellent and is a strong pickup for Cyrene.
Cyrene's E2 A Tomorrow in Thirteen Shades is a powerful Eidolon that grants a strong damage boosting effect but is mostly favoured for the extra 12 Recollection generated at the start of fight as it considerably speeds up her Transformation. This Eidolon is not required to play non Remembrance teams but it makes them significantly more comfortable to play. Examples of these teams include: Hysilens, Mydei or Anaxa.
Cyrene's E2 A Tomorrow in Thirteen Shades also increases the True DMG dealt buff provided by her Skill by 6% per ally target (up to 24%) who has been buffed by her Memosprite Skill. At maximum stacks this is a 19. 3% increase to Team DPS. This Eidolon is an excellent point to stop investing in Cyrene as further Eidolons are less efficient unless you go all the way to E6.
Cyrene's E3 By Thy Being, As I've Written is uncharacteristically good for an E3 as it increases levels on her Memosprite Skill, Talent and Ultimate. Cyrene's Memosprite Skill is the vast majority of her damage output and buff potency, the extra 2% DMG for the entire team from her talent is a good bonus and the 5% CRIT Rate makes reaching CRIT Cap on Cyrene significantly easier. This Eidolon is approximately a 1-2% gain for her Teammates and ~9-10% for Cyrene.
Cyrene's E4 Please Write On, With a Smile provides a ramping damage increase for Minuet of Blooms and Plumes. This will eventually stack up to be a potent increase but on shorter encounters this will do very little. Overall this is a Decent Eidolon, especially for harder content like Anomaly Arbitration.
Cyrene's E5 Gaze, Steeped in Yesterbloom is weaker than the E3 as it provides levels to weaker abilities. This is approximately a 2% increase to Team DPS.
Cyrene's E6 Remembrance, Sung in Ripples ♪ is an incredibly strong Eidolon. This adds a team-wide Action Advance to the first Ultimate Cyrene uses each combat making her upfront burst significantly more potent. Additionally Cyrene will apply additional effects when she uses the Story buffed Minuet of Blooms and Plumes. On the first time it is triggered Cyrene will apply a 20% DEF reduction to all enemies for the rest of the fight and for the second and beyond use she will advance all allies actions by 24% which very potent and can be thought of having a Dance! Dance! Dance! Lightcone on her.
