Introductions

Seele is a 5-Star Quantum Character following the Path of The Hunt. Seele is a great Main DPS character who thrives at CRIT damage as well as focusing mainly on AoE fights damage but does very well in single target fights also especially when her talent (Resurgence) is triggered.
Our Seele Build Guide will show you the best Light Cones, Relics, and team compositions to help you build the best Seele.

Seele's Best Light Cone

Listed below are the Light Cones we recommend for Seele.

In the Night
Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 18.0 / 21.0 / 24.0 / 27.0 / 30.0%. While the wearer is in battle, for every 10 SPD that exceeds 100, increases DMG dealt by Basic ATK and Skill by 6.0 / 7.0 / 8.0 / 9.0 / 10.0%. At the same time, increases the CRIT DMG of Ultimate by 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0 / 18.0 / 20.0%. This effect can stack up to 6 time(s).

Seele's best Light Cone is her signature weapon, which provides a valuable CRIT Rate boost making it easier to build her toward 100% CRIT consistency. It also increases the DMG for both her Skill and Basic Attacks, while boosting the CRIT DMG of her Ultimate. Overall, this Light Cone is ideal for reaching endgame stat thresholds and maximising her damage output.
The Hell Where Ideals Burn
Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 16.0 / 20.0 / 24.0 / 28.0 / 32.0%. When entering combat, if the allies' Skill Points limit is 6 or higher, increases the wearer's ATK by 40.0 / 50.0 / 60.0 / 70.0 / 80.0%. After each use of the wearer's Skill, increases the wearer's ATK by 10.0 / 12.5 / 15.0 / 17.5 / 20.0%, stacking up to 4 time(s).

If you're pairing Seele with Sparkle, this becomes her best Light Cone option. It provides increased CRIT Rate, along with a significant ATK boost when your team has 6 or more Skill Points at the start of combat. Each time Seele uses her Skill, she gains additional ATK, further enhancing her damage output. While reaching the 6 SP threshold is most easily achieved with Sparkle on the team, this synergy makes the weapon especially powerful in SP positive setups.
Sleep Like the Dead
Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 30.0 / 35.0 / 40.0 / 45.0 / 50.0%. When the wearer's Basic ATK or Skill DMG does not result in a CRIT Hit, increases their CRIT Rate by 36.0 / 42.0 / 48.0 / 54.0 / 60.0%, lasting for 1 turn(s). This effect can only trigger once every 3 turn(s).

Sources: Stellar Warp
This 5-star Light Cone provides a substantial CRIT DMG boost, reaching up to 50% at S5. It also increases Seele's CRIT Rate if her Basic ATK or Skill fails to land a CRIT, helping to smooth out her consistency and reduce reliance on perfect stats. This makes it a strong option for maintaining stable damage output, especially in builds that are slightly lower on CRIT Rate.
Cruising in the Stellar Sea
S5
Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8.0 / 10.0 / 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0%, and increases their CRIT Rate against enemies with HP percentage 50.0% or less by an extra 8.0 / 10.0 / 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0%. When the wearer defeats an enemy, their ATK is increased by 20.0 / 25.0 / 30.0 / 35.0 / 40.0% for 2 turn(s).

Sources: Herta's Store
A strong alternative for Seele, this Light Cone grants up to 16% CRIT Rate and a 20% ATK boost after defeating an enemy. At S5, these stats are doubled, making it very effective in multi-target fights. However, its CRIT condition relies on enemies being below 50% HP, so it's not fully consistent.
Swordplay
S5
For each time the wearer hits the same target, DMG dealt increases by 8.0 / 10.0 / 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0%, stacking up to 5 time(s). This effect will be dispelled when the wearer changes targets.

Sources: Stellar Warp
A solid 4-star option, this Light Cone increases damage on a single target with consecutive hits, stacking up to 5 times. While effective, it can feel restrictive when switching targets. Fortunately, Seele's Skill allows her to stack it quickly at least.

While Seele cannot trigger this effect on her own, it can be activated without a direct summon when using Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae, allowing her to fully benefit from the extra CRIT DMG. However, its effectiveness depends on team composition, making it less consistent in standard setups.

Character Explanation Novaflare Update

Character Explanation

Seele is a Quantum damage dealer who specialises in quickly eliminating enemies and chaining extra turns through her passive ability. Her basic attack is a simple single target strike used mainly for conserving skill points, while her skill provides a stronger Quantum attack and increased speed. Her ultimate delivers a powerful burst of Quantum damage to one enemy serving as her main finisher. Her talent is the core of her kit, granting her an immediate extra turn and a damage boost whenever she defeats an enemy, allowing her to progress smoothly through battles. Her technique gives her an early combat advantage, helping her start fights more effectively as she enters battle.

Her traces further enhance this powerful playstyle by increasing damage dealt by 50% after defeating an enemy. In the Nova Flare update context, she remains a high paced DPS who performs best in multi target and multi wave fights, relying on speed, crit investment and continuous enemy defeats to maintain her damage output.

Novaflare Update

Seele's Novaflare update significantly boosts her overall performance, especially by increasing her damage output and strengthening her Ultimate. Her self buff now lasts longer, which improves consistency, while her skill becomes more reliable, allowing her to chain attacks more effectively after securing enemy defeats. Overall, she regains strong status as a Quantum hypercarry DPS, performing particularly well in multi-enemy fights.

See below the main changes to Seele since the Novaflare update:

  • Seele's skill now lasts for an additional turn and deals an increased amount of Quantum damage at 360% from 220%. In addition to this her skill will trigger automatically when an enemy has HP at 50% or less when Seele attacks.
  • Seele's ultimate has had a big upgrade and now deals 720% damage from 425% before the novaflare.
  • The talent Resurgence has extended the amplification state to 3 turns from 1 so that more damage can be dealt for a longer period of time.
  • The technique Phantom Illusion has been upgraded to include to deal additional Quantum damage to a random enemy which is guaranteed to be a CRIT hit.
  • When it comes to her traces there have been a few changes. Rather than her trace Nightshade reducing her chances of being attacked it has now been changed to increase Seele's damage by 50% upon defeating an enemy. This is much better than trying to ensure that an enemy has HP lower than 50% in order for something to happen. On top of this it also lasts for 3 turns stacking up to 3 times which is much more beneficial long term. Another small change has been made to her trace Lacerate where the Quantum RES PEN has been increased by 5% to 25%.
  • Lastly, there have been some nice changes to Seele's Eidolons. Her E1 now ignores 20% of the targeted enemies DEF which is a nice addition. On the other hand, her E6 has received a nice makeover with some new additions and slight changes. Butterfly Flurry now lasts for 3 turns rather than just one and also take an instance of "True DMG" rather than Quantum Additional DMG at 30%. We will now see Seele's talent triggered when an enemy has been defeated whereas previously this would not be triggered.

Seele's Best Teams

Seele's Best Eidolons

When it comes to selecting which Eidolons are the most important to focus on for Seele E1, E4 and E6 would be the best to put your time and effort into. Take a look below at a brief overview and breakdown of each of these eidolons:

  • E1 increases CRIT Rate by 15% as well as ignores 20% of an enemy's DEF when dealing damage to an enemy whose HP is 80% or less.
  • E4 regenerates 15 energy for Seele each time she defeats an enemy.
  • E6 inflicts the Butterfly Flurry on an enemy for 3 turns when using her ultimate. Those enemies under the Butterfly Flurry state will take 1 instance of true damage at 30% of her Ultimate DMG after an attack. Once the enemy under the Butterfly Flurry state is defeated by any ally in the team, her talent will additionally be triggered. Upon being downed the Butterfly Flurry state is removed from all enemies.

Overall, we can see that Seele's most valuable eidolons are E1, E4 and E6 which improves CRIT Rate, energy regeneration and Ultimate uptime. Seele's E6 is powerful and provides you the best damage increase but is more of an end game choice rather than a necessity early on. You can focus on acquiring her E1 first if you don't have the resources for E6 straight away as this still provides you with a decent CRIT Rate increase and ignore a portion of an enemy's defence.
