After the wearer uses Skill or Ultimate on one ally character, the wearer regenerates 6 / 6.5 / 7 / 7.5 / 8 Energy and the ability's target receives 1 stack of "Hymn" for 3 turn(s), stacking up to 3 time(s). Each stack of "Hymn" increases its holder's DMG dealt by 15.0 / 17.3 / 19.5 / 21.8 / 24.0%. After every 2 instance(s) of Skill or Ultimate the wearer uses on one ally character, recovers 1 Skill Point.

This is Sunday's Signature 5★ Lightcone and it is the best option available for him by far. This Lightcone fixes Sunday's energy issues, provides a large DMG % buff to the target you buff and generates skill points making Sunday strictly skill positive while he has this Lightcone.

Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 10.0 / 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0 / 18.0% and regenerates 1 Skill Point when the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally. This effect can be triggered once after every 2 uses of the wearer's Ultimate. When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 30.0 / 35.0 / 40.0 / 45.0 / 50.0% more DMG for 1 turn(s).

This is Sunday's second best Lightcone option and is Bronya's 5★ Signature Lightcone.
This Lightcone mostly fixes Sunday's energy issues but it can be somewhat inconsistent without a superimposition or being hit once. This Lightcone also provides a large single-turn boost to the next teammate to act after Sunday uses his Skill, which should be his Skill's target. This Lightcone also provides Skillpoints but it is not a significant amount due to the long cooldown (1 SP per 3 ultimates).

When the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies' actions are Advanced Forward by 16.0 / 18.0 / 20.0 / 22.0 / 24.0%.

This is a 4★ Limited Lightcone that is a niche choice. This Lightcone is usually weaker than other options since it does not provide any energy generation for Sunday which makes maintaining his Ultimate harder without a lot lucky enemy hits generating energy.
The effect can be awkward to time since you would usually get enough energy for your Ultimate after using your skill, which would mean the Main DPS unit is going immediately so the Action Advance from using your Ultimate would be wasted. This means you would have to Ultimate after their turn but then you lose out on a turn with the CRIT DMG buff from Sunday's Ultimate.

This is Sunday's best Relic Set to build. This Relic set provides Sunday with SPD which will make gearing easier and provides a large CRIT DMG % bonus to your Main DPS which is a significant DPS gain.

4-Piece Set: When using Skill or Ultimate on one ally target, increases the ability target's CRIT DMG by 18.0%, lasting for 2 turn(s). This effect can stack up to 2 time(s).

2-Piece Set: Increases CRIT DMG by 16.0%.

4-Piece Set: When the wearer becomes the target of another ally target's ability, gains 1 stack of "Help," stacking up to 2 time(s). If there are 2 stack(s) of "Help" when the wearer uses their Ultimate, consumes all "Help" to increase the wearer's ATK by 48.0% for 1 turn(s).

If you do not have a good 4PC Sacerdos Set you can opt to use 2pc-2pc instead. Ideally you would use one 6% SPD relic alongside Wavestrider Captain or just use two 6% SPD relics. These are the 6% SPD options currently available:

Lushaka, the Sunken Seas

2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5.0%. If the wearer is not the first character in the team lineup, then increases the ATK of the first character in the team lineup by 12.0%.

This is Sunday's best-in-slot Planar Ornament. This provides 12% ATK for your Main DPS and 5% energy Regeneration for Sunday. The energy Regeneration provided by this Lightcone is quite valuable and can help maintain his ultimate, especially without his Signature Lightcone.
This is significantly weaker without ATK-based Main DPS units.

Penacony, Land of the Dreams

2-Piece Set: Increases wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5.0%. Increases DMG by 10.0% for all other allies that are of the same Type as the wearer.

This is another competitive Planar Ornament for Sunday that provides 10% DMG to all Imaginary units and 5% energy Regeneration for Sunday. The energy Regeneration provided by this Lightcone is quite valuable and can help maintain his ultimate, especially without his Signature Lightcone.
This is Lightcone is only usable with Imaginary DPS such as . We suggest building over this as it is more universally useful.

Broken Keel

2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's Effect RES by 10.0%. When the wearer's Effect RES is at 30.0% or higher, all allies' CRIT DMG increases by 10.0%.

This is Sunday's best Planar Ornament for supporting CRIT DPS in situations where you cannot use the other two Planar Ornaments above. This will require you to acquire an additional 12% Effect RES from substats on your relics to activate the effect.

Sprightly Vonwacq

2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5.0%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer's action is Advanced Forward by 40.0% immediately upon entering battle.

This is a niche option for Sunday that is not applicable for every team. This Planar Ornament is not useful if you are trying to maintain Sunday at a standard -1 SPD compared to Main DPS as this would make him significantly out SPD them on the first turn.
This can be useful if you are playing Sunday in a team where you are pulling a carry up to Sunday's SPD such as in a team or hyperspeed setups.

Character Explanation -1 SPD Hyperspeed

Character Explanation

Sunday at his core is an Action Advance unit that additionally provides large damage buffs comparable to other Harmony units. Sunday also specialises in characters with Memosprites ‐ all of his abilities will be replicated onto a memosprite if you target their memomaster.

Sunday's Buffs are up to 20% (Lv10) CRIT Rate from his Talent The Sorrowing Body, 30% (Lv10) DMG from his Skill Benison of Paper and Rites (additional 50% if the target has a Memosprite) and CRIT DMG equal to 12% + 30% of Sunday's CRIT DMG from his Ultimate Ode to Caress and Cicatrix.

Sunday's Ultimate also restores 20% of the targets Maximum energy or 40, whatever is higher, thanks to his A2 Trace Rest Day's Longing. This is incredibly powerful for DPS that love energy like Aglaea or Saber.

-1 SPD

The most common way to gear Sunday is to have 1 less SPD than your main DPS. While doing this it is still important that Sunday is faster than whatever SPD breakpoint you are aiming for or he will not get an action within those AV losing you one turn from your Main DPS. You will often target breakpoints like 134 SPD (+1 Turn in 150 AV), 143 SPD (+1 Turn in 350 AV), 156 SPD (+1 turn in 450 AV), 161 SPD (+1 Turn in 250 AV) to name a few common ones.

This approach works for nearly every Main DPS in the game and can increase their DPS significantly however it is not applicable for some characters (for example Aglaea) that grant themselves SPD buffs which would cause Sunday to desync from their turns effectively wasting their SPD boost.

Hyperspeed

This is a more niche way of gearing Sunday and usually involves building him to at least 161 SPD, often even higher. While playing hyperspeed you do not necessarily have to sync your main DPS's SPD to Sunday's. You fairly often have the Main DPS running at base SPD with their main stat boots — getting them an extra 43.2% of heir main stat. This is sometimes paired with other Action Advance units like Bronya or Sparkle to offset loss of your Main DPS's usual turns.

Hyperspeed setups are typically usually used by people with highly optimised teams. These take a lot of investment in gear and often have to be tailored towards one specific DPS instead of being versatile and usable with all of your favourite characters. We do not suggest going for a Hyperspeed setup unless you are absolutely sure it will work with your favourite teams.
