Below is a list of the recommended enchants for a Shadow Priest in Wrath of the Lich King Classic. If there are multiple enchants viable enchants for a gear slot they are listed in order of value.

Below is a list of the recommended gems for a Shadow Priest in Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Be sure to meet your Meta Gem requirements by using all of the required colors. It is typically recommended to only use the minimum gems required to activate your Meta Gem and then use Red Gems in the rest of your open sockets unless the socket bonus is great. Early on you may need to prioritize gemming into Hit Rating to reach the Hit cap.

Phase 3 introduces epic gems which can be obtained from multiple sources, making them readily available early on. Try to to use epic gems over rare gems as much as possible, especially in best in slot gear as they offer a great stat increase.

Below is a list of the recommended consumables for a Shadow Priest in Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Some consumables have multiple options depending on your needs; be sure to choose accordingly.

Flask of the Frost Wyrm is the only flask recommended as it provides by far the greatest buff out of all of the options.

• Potion of Wild Magic
• Potion of Speed
• Runic Healing Potion

Your potion options are very close and will largely depend on your gear. Early on Potion of Speed should be slightly better, while Potion of Wild Magic becomes better the more you gear up. Regardless, the difference is very minor; use whichever fits you better. It is also recommended to always carry a stack of Runic Healing Potions on you as they can sometimes save your life, especially during trash pulls.

• Fish Feast
• Firecracker Salmon / Tender Shoveltusk Steak

You have a few options for your food buff, all of which provide the same stats. Choose which one you use according to the prices on your server. You may also have someone in your raid providing the Fish Feast, saving you some gold on food buffs.

Here we will list the unique consumables provided by each individual profession.

• Runic Healing Injector
• Saronite Bomb
• Global Thermal Sapper Charge

If you are an Engineer you will want to carry Runic Healing Injector on you instead of the normal potion counterpart as this injector restores an additional 25% health to Engineers. You will also want to stock up on explosives to deal high damage on AoE pulls.

• Glyph of Shadow Word: Death
• Glyph of Dispersion

You will want to carry a few of each of these glyphs on you to swap around depending on the fight, your raid's needs, and the role you are covering.

• Heavy Frostweave Bandage

While these are minor and will see little use, it is always recommended to keep them on hand for the quick, Mana-free heal.
