General Information

On this page, we explain what the best statistics are for Arms Warriors in World of Warcraft WoD 6.0.3, how the class benefits from each of them.

The statistics priority is important as it influences itemisation choices (gear, enchants, and gems).

The other pages of our Arms Warrior guide can be accessed from the table of contents on the right.

1. Basics↑top

This is the ideal stat priority for an Arms Warrior.

  1. Strength;
  2. Haste (until 10% with raid buffs);
  3. Critical Strike;
  4. Multistrike;
  5. Mastery;
  6. Versatility;
  7. Haste.

Note that the value of Mastery is above that of Versatility against a single target, but its value drops greatly against multiple targets. Since you will find yourself in multiple target situations much more often than in pure single target ones, we have opted to place it at the bottom of the priority.

These statistics have been obtained by combining common sense, in-game testing, and simulations using Simulation Craft.

If you are unsure how to conform your gear to the above priority, you can Ask Mr. Robot for a personalised optimisation of your character's gear, by filling the form below.

2. Getting a Better Understanding↑top

Strength is your primary statistic. You should look for it in all of your upgrades. It provides you with Attack Power, which determines the damage your abilities do.

Critical Strike increases your chance to critically hit with all spells and abilities.

Haste increases your attack speed, and, thanks to Headlong Rush Icon Headlong Rush, it also reduces the cooldown of Mortal Strike Icon Mortal Strike and your global cooldown.

Mastery, through, Mastery: Weapons Master Icon Mastery: Weapons Master, passively increases the damage of Mortal Strike Icon Mortal Strike, Colossus Smash Icon Colossus Smash, and Execute Icon Execute.

Multistrike causes your abilities to have a chance to hit/heal a second and a third time, each time dealing 30% of the initial damage/heal.

Versatility increases all your damage and healing done, and decreases all damage taken.
