Are you sure? By my count, 13 levels only gives you 1/3 in Furious Swipes.

You need 3/3 Furious Swipes, and you're all set. It's not about the number of points, it's about getting your AoE strong. It's your first power spike, and it's very cheap to get.

The next power spike is a gold trait that procs lighting when you do Multi Shot, it's also about a +10% boost to sustained AoE damage, but it costs much more AP to get.

When is Stampede better than Kill Cobra for this raiding tier? I was finally happy to give it a try during Xavius, but then the group decided to just burn the boss to under 65% to only get one add. In the end my DPS was much lower than with Kill Cobra.

Is it worth picking for Dragons? Maybe use it on the shades?

From popular talents on logs, I can't see one fight on Mythic where people have chosen to go for Stampede.

Hi, I just got the Qa'Pla boots, how does this change my rotation when I use Killer Cobra? If I use Kill Command and Dire Beast, the CD on KC becomes a mere 2 seconds. Is it still worth filling that time with Cobra Shot or should I just wait?

Or maybe they overlap too much, and I should switch to Stampede?

Curious about the trinket sims, Want to confirm why Chrono Shard better without set (Assuming its just because the ring is bad?)

It's a neck, not a ring, and yes, it's kinda bad. Although the simulation is using a pretty god-tier ring as baseline, which might not be the best thing.

Hi Azor, thanks for the guide, just wanted to ask at the beginning of the guide u say that we should use BM for Mythic+ and switch to MM for raiding,  I tried both specs in the beginning and i could not get my head round MM so I have decided to stick with BM.

Is this BM guide only good for people who are looking to do Mythic+ content or are you doing this for raiding as well?

Is there any chance you guys will add a pet guide / tier list? There isn't much info about commonly used pets or when to use the great cooldowns some of them provide (Lust and battle Rez)

Easy - when your raid leader tells you to.

I meant like which pets to get that have those and when to equip them vs another pet

Which pets: http://www.wow-petopia.com/

Bloodlust if your raid doesn't have it.

Battle rez if your raid group is low on them. 2-3 per 10 people is plenty enough.

Otherwise use a spirit beast as they get spirit mend for small healing.

Keep in mind you can carry all three pets with you and swap between them depending on situation.

Since all pets do same DPS, and don't offer any other useful abilities, there's not much difference in which one to use.

The guide is intended for PvE, with notes and alternatives put in when required for different content types.

That is a bad macro, since Titan's Thunder is not on the GCD, meaning that if you press that macro and both abilities are off cooldown, you will activate Titan's Thunder in the GCD leading up to the Dire Beast cast, meaning you lose its benefit.

So no, don't use that macro.

Oh so you're saying that if DB is on CD and TT is not, it will cast TT without a Dire Beast? If so, that is bad, I agree.

Can you delete my post then? :(

Is there anyway to fix the macro?

Isn't titans thunder out of the game now? should it be removed from the BM rotation?

I've been really looking at stats from our guild raids, and some testing on dummies, and it seems that there is a significant problem with Stomp.

Depending on the pet summoned with dire beast, the "stomp" attack occurs significantly before reaching the  targets... sometimes as much as 50% failure rate. The only way to remedy this is to basically stand right near tanks / targets. And given I am often managing ranged mechanics for the raid, this is obviously problematic.

I have recently started using Dire Frenzy to compensate, which has helped. However, DPS loss is significant, compared to a properly working Stomp.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I have only ever experienced the Stomp issue on dummies where it happens basically all the time. I have seen it happen in dungeons and raids but only in one-off situations where the pathing is weird and/or the mobs moved on cast.

Do you think the Potion of Prolonged Power is going to be better than Potion of Deadly Grace?

You should know that the cooldown reset on Kill Command doesn't happen until Cobra Shot lands on the target.

This is no longer the case in 7.1

I have a question about the simulation Page,

among the Artifact Relic Simulation you ar writing about "+X Itemlvl"

do you mean the Itemlvl of teh Relic or the + X Itemlvl the Relic grants my weapon?

i am a litt.... i ma verry confused ;D

Guest Trollioli - Hyjal

Had that same question about relics. I'm assuming it's the +ilvl given to the weapon and not the ilvl of the relic, since +4/+6 etc are not overall relic ilvl iterations.

For trinket sims: The new Ethereal Urn from Kara is not on the 3-target Sim list but it should be better than the 850 Agi/Haste (Agi/mastery) WQ trinket. Overlooked?

I was looking at the trinkets sims and noticed the wq hatse is ranked higher than the wq mastery. I was a little curious as to why this would be when mastery is usually the more valued stat

War Within Alpha should be just around the corner! When do we expect the latest expansion testing to start?
If you've been keeping an eye on the World of Warcraft 2024 roadmap, you're likely excited about what's coming up! According to the roadmap, the War Within Alpha is expected to kick off sometime after Patch 10.2.6, which was released two weeks ago, and before the beginning of Season 4.

Typically, a season lasts 22 weeks. Right now, we're in the 20th week of Season 3, with just about two weeks left. Let's break down the hypothetical timeline:
Season 3 Week 20: Week of March 26 Season 3 Week 21: Week of April 2 Season 3 Week 22: Week of April 9 Season 4 Week 1: Week of April 15 This schedule suggests that the War Within Alpha could potentially launch as early as next week or during the week of April 9.
The most recent news from the War Within camp came on March 27, when Blizzard rolled out a fresh encrypted internal build on the WoW Dev CDN. The internal builds are becoming more and more frequent which indicates Blizzard's ramping up to start testing in the very near future.
Placeholder for tweet 1772901807448052151 In the meantime, we encourage you to check out everything coming in the War Within pre-patch that will release 1 month before the actual expansion.

Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,
