Patches is an incredibly strong card that has a noticeable effect on your win-rate, however the deck doesn't completely fall apart without it.   The best substitution would just be to support another Mana slot such as a second copy of Mortal Strike.  Sir Finley is a terrible choice for this deck specifically as it adds another Murloc to the deck which drastically lowers the strength of the Murlocs summoned by Finja.

Such a weak deck. These murlocs.. they are not pirates and have no pirate sinergy. If you don't have finja in your hand then it is a quite stupid way to weaken you deck with murlocks. Mehh. I played 10 games and haven't seen finja even one time

I don't see why murlocs not being pirates is an issue. Murlocs have synergy as well, and the deck's name contains the word "Murloc", so it is clear that the deck is not centered around pirate synergy only. The murloc synergy is quite strong, especially with Finja, the Flying Star, who works in a similar manner to Mysterious Challenger.
Simply because you didn't draw him doesn't mean that the deck is bad because of him. Try more games, the RNG will even out to some extent and you will see the power of Finja, the Flying Star.
