Hearthstone-Decks (source of image above) have revealed that the next Hearthstone set is called Kobolds & Catacombs. They have also revealed the first card, Marin the Fox.

The card was revealed to Hearthstone-Decks as part of a promotional email.

Marin the Fox is a 6/6 for 8 Mana that generates a Treasure Chest for your opponent.  The Treasure Chest summoned by Marin is a 0/8 minion, which gives you "Awesome Loot" once killed.

We will, of course, have to wait and see what Treasure Chests will contain. It seems that they will be good though, as Marin is very overcosted if they are not!

Marin will be awarded for free to anyone logging in from Monday onwards. If you have a BlizzCon virtual ticket, or are at BlizzCon, you will get a gold version.

We will have more Hearthstone news for you as the evening unfolds.

Oh, everybody gets the card - I like it.

If he is a good play remains to be seen, but another thing is: You "steal" on board place from your opponent.

That can be a positive effect too!

(And my guess is that something like Evolve wont work on the chest)

But honestly seems a terrible card if you summon a 0/8 for opponent and he has bonemare it become a 4/12 taunt that will lose you the game

I'm sure its going to more like a 0/8 minion with a mana cost with the death rattle "when killed add random loot to your opponents hand". Sherazin can be only not be evolved when it is in its "dead" state. it is a unique card. This card will be like the presents in the special Christmas tavern brawl.

Don't see why it wouldn't.

My line of thinking: If you can buff the chest and you need to play a 8-mana minion with 6/6 - how many situations are there that this specific play would be usefull?

Only if you are very close to winning anyway.

For every close match (or - god forbid - a match you lag behind a little) it would seem quite a bad decision to play this card.

There is so much that can buff a minion - Bonemare, defender of argus, evolve...

Marin + Crazed Alchemist at 10 mana looks like a good play. I'd say that Marin's popularity will be about the same as Crazed Alchemist's. If the meta runs a lot of Crazed Alchemist targets like Doomsayer, Marin will be a decent value card.

The latest Hearthstone community contribution allows you to train the skills needed to master Combo Priest: quick thinking, fast mouse movements, strategic decisions and on-the-spot calculations. What's more to ask?!
Combo or OTK or APM Priest is a reiteration of Combo and Vivid Nightmare Priest that was born with The Boomsday Project thanks to two cards: Topsy Turvy and Test Subject. Dog is credited as the creator and true master of the deck:
Many have subsequently tried and failed to pilot the deck, which can require almost 100 moves during the 75 seconds of a single turn. Pro players like Trump and Thijs have hilariously failed, while others like Disguised Toast and Kolento kept trying until they got the hang of it.
Right now, you might be dreading that you don't have the IQ to play this deck. Fear no more: everything can be practiced and Patashu has made the tool for it! Combo Priest Simulator allows you to practice the OTK combo on your browser, while also timing you. You can change the parameters of the starting gamestate, too.
In all seriousness, the deck's winrate is below average and it's honestly too much trouble for too little gain. Then again, slamming your opponent's face for 100+ damage is quite satisfactory. It would be awesome if someone was brave enough to bring this deck at a tournament: it would be the casters' nightmare!
Apart from Combo Priest Simulator, we have a guide for Topsy Turvy OTK Priest here on Icy Veins; the guide breaks down the necessary steps of the combo in a useful priority list. Alternatively, you can listen to Aleco trying to explain how the deck works to Patrick (and actually succeeding) in the latest Icy Veins Podcast!
