Aloy's Stat Priority
Stat-wise, Aloy requires a lot of CRIT and ATK as a Burst DPS.
Recommended Stats for Aloy
Build recommendations assume a "decently built" level of artifact rolls alongside Aloy's best weapon. Using other weapons may increase or decrease certain stats relative to these recommendations.
Aloy is a character that requires a bit of Energy Recharge. You will need at least 140% Energy Recharge for this build. After that, you can focus on CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG.
Aloy's Talent Priority
As Aloy is best built as a Burst DPS, focus on her Elemental Burst and Elemental Skill. While we recommend you do not fully neglect her Normal Attack, it is not worth investing in heavily.
How to Play Aloy
Aloy's playstyle centers around her Elemental Burst, Prophecies of Dawn. This burst is a large Cryo AoE and can be used as a trigger for powerful Elemental Reactions. This Elemental Burst recharges quite quickly with a low 40 Energy cost, allowing you to set up other Elements while Aloy is off-field before bringing her back on-field to use her Burst and Skill again. Due to this, Aloy is typically played in quick swap teams.
Aloy also possesses a unique stacking mechanic called 'Coils'. These are generated from her Elemental Skill, Frozen Wilds, which spawns small Freeze Bombs on the battlefield. When an enemy triggers one of these, Aloy will gain a single Coil Stack. Once you get 4 stacks, Aloy will enter her Rushing Ice state which infuses her Normal Attacks with Cryo.
A normal rotation with Aloy will be:
- Prophecies of Dawn
- Frozen Wilds
- Swap Aloy out
- Use your other characters' abilities
- Swap back to Aloy for her Burst and repeat
Anemo characters such as Kaedehara Kazuha, Sucrose, or Jean can group Aloy's Bombs the same way as they group enemies, which allows you to trigger the bombs more often.
Aloy's Best Constellations
Aloy does not have any constellations. She is the only character in Genshin that does not possess any constellations.
