Who Are the Upcoming Characters in Genshin Impact 7.1?
Version 7.1 Phase 1 introduces two new characters; the 5-Star Hydro character Vodyanitsa, who arrives alongside their signature Catalyst Hymn of the Maelstrom, as well as the 5-Star Anemo character Vesna, who comes with her signature Sword Beyond the Chrysalis.
Returning in 7.1 onwards we may see reruns of Zibai and Linnea although we are unsure when during 7.X we will see this happen. We know that during Phase 2 we can expect to see the return of Skirk and Escoffier.
What Are the New Weapons in Genshin Impact 7.1?
7.1 comes with 6 new weapons, 2 which are the signature for Vesna and Vodyanitsa with the rest expected to be a mix of new gacha weapons as well as just new additions although this is not fully confirmed yet.

The aforementioned effects can still trigger even when the equipping character is not on the field. |
Are There New Artifact Sets in Genshin Impact 7.1?
7.1 will not likely release any new artifact sets, as 7.0 had only just released Scarlet Proof and Heart of the Furnace. We may see new artifacts from 7.2 onwards, although this is yet to be confirmed.
What are the Events in 7.1 of Genshin Impact?
Genshin Impact 7.1 features 7 new events. These are:
- Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon - Flagship Event
- Carefree Snowball Fight
- Predictive Victory Dynamics
- Overflowing Favor
- Rainbow's End: Resplendent Starlight
- Across the Frozen Wilds, Honing One's Edge
- Tabletop Troupe: A Gathering on Adventure's Eve
The minor events provide players with the same rewards as other patches including Talent Material books, Weapon Ascension Materials, and Primogems.
The flagship event Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon will reward players with the new 4-star ATK% sword Silver Light as well as a 4x Tea-Scented Tassels.
What Additions Can We Expect to See in 7.1 of Genshin Impact?
Genshin Impact 7.1 will have a range of new additions and adjustments. Currently we know of 2 new characters and a range of new weapons. Below you can see what upcoming changes and improvements will be added, as well as new potential sets for the Miliastra Wonderland.
- New Game System - Special Recruitment Project: Consultant to the Tsaritsa
- New System - Edge of Survival will receive 2 new stages since its release in 7.0
- New Monster - The game will feature a new monster "Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow" located in the Snezhnaya region
- New TCG Cards - Columbina and Illuga will be added as TCG character cards
- Miliastra Cosmetic Set - 7.1 will introduce the new cosmetic set "Osmanthus in the Moonlight"
- Upcoming Event - Starlit Gala will arrive in 7.1
- Rerun of Cosmetic sets - Reruns for Phantom Night Candlelight and Miliastra Shop will be coming during 7.1
