Genshin Impact Patch 7.2 Leaks: Characters, Weapons, Events and More

The source for most of this leaked information comes from the Honey Impact database.

Version 7.2 Phase 1 introduces two new characters; the 5-Star Electro character Mitya, who arrives alongside their signature Catalyst Starsealed Edict, as well as the 4-Star Electro character Valeriy, who wields a Sword.

In Phase 2 the chronicled wish will feature 5 5-star characters as well as another banner featuring their 5-star weapons. The five characters and their respective weapons are as seen below:

• Varesa - Vivid Notions
• Chasca - Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage
• Xilonen - Peak Patrol Song
• Mualani - Surf's Up
• Kinich - Fang of the Mountain King

Returning in 7.2 we will see reruns of 5-stars Furina, Zibai as well as Linnea with the 4-stars currently unknown at this time.

7.2 comes with 3 new weapons, 1 of which is the signature for Mitya, Starsealed Edict, with the other 2 4-star guns used for the third person shooter mechanic which was introduced in 7.0:

Base ATK: 542

CRIT DMG: 88.2%

Increases CRIT DMG by 24% / 30% / 36% / 42% / 48%. The equipping character gains the Crystal Compounding effect when they use their Elemental Skill, increasing Elemental Mastery by 48 / 60 / 72 / 84 / 96 for 20s. During this time, the equipping character gains a Law of Combustion stack when a nearby party member triggers an Elemental Reaction. Each stack increases Elemental Mastery by an additional 24 / 30 / 36 / 42 / 48. Max 3 stacks. These stacks last until Crystal Compounding ends or the equipping character uses their Elemental Skill again.
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: Each Law of Combustion stack also increases the equipping character's Stellar-Conduct CRIT DMG by 12% / 15% / 18% / 21% / 24%.
These effects can be triggered even when the equipping character is off-field.

7.2 will not release any new artifact sets, as 7.0 had only just released Scarlet Proof and Heart of the Furnace. We may see new artifacts from 7.3 onwards, although this is yet to be confirmed.

Genshin Impact 7.2 features 4 new events. These are:

• The Grand Defense: Defy the Unjust Judgment - Flagship Event
• Frames of Fierce Splendor
• Stress Block Smashing Project
• Ley Line Overflow

The minor events provide players with the same rewards as other patches including Talent Material books, Weapon Ascension Materials, and Primogems.

The flagship event The Grand Defense: Defy the Unjust Judgment will reward players with one of eight 4-star characters as well as a Crown of Insight. The 4-stars available in this event include Amber, Xiangling, Thoma, Collei, Lynette, Kachina, Aino and Alyosha.

Genshin Impact 7.2 will have a range of new additions and adjustments. Currently we know of 2 new characters and a few new weapons. Below you can see what upcoming changes and improvements will be added, as well as new potential sets for the Miliastra Wonderland.

• New Monster Drop - Snowborn Heartshard
• New TCG Cards - Varka, Elemental Transfiguration: Burning Blessing, Hall of a Thousand Pillars, Streaming Song
• Miliastra Cosmetic Set - 7.2 features the Event Ode: Polyphonic Variations
• New Areas - Snezhnaya will feature 5 new areas: Novokitezhgrad, Port Belovodye
  The Central Hub, Teplo Oasis, Old Kitezhgrad
