Who Are the Upcoming Characters in Genshin Impact 7.1?

Version 7.1 introduces two new characters; the 5-Star Hydro character Vodyanitsa, who arrives alongside their signature Catalyst, and the 5-Star Anemo character Vesna, who comes with her signature Sword.

Returning in 7.1 we may see reruns of Zibai and Linnea although we are unsure when during 7.X we will see this happen.

3.

What Are the New Weapons in Genshin Impact 7.1?

7.1 comes with 6 new weapons, 2 which are the signature for Vesna and Vodyanitsa with the rest expected to be potentially new gacha weapons although this is not fully comfirmed yet.

Weapon Type Rarity ATK Substat Value Weapon Effect
Vesna Weapon (Unknown Name) Sword 5-Star 47.54 CRIT DMG % 9.6 (R1), The equipping character becomes the center of attention when they use their Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst, and gains different Attention effects: Blazing Attention: CRIT DMG is increased by 48% for the next 10s; Dazzling Attention: Stellar Swirl reaction DMG is increased by 28% for the next 10s; Radiant Attention: Regenerates 3 Elemental Energy. Each trigger applies one of the above effects, cycling through the sequence above.
Vodyanitsa Weapon (Unknown Name) Catalyst 5-Star 44.34 HP % 14.4 (R1), Increases Healing Bonus by 8%. When the equipping character performs healing, they receive 1 stack of the "Hymn of the Water Imp" effect, which increases their Max HP by 5%. Additionally, every 1,000 Max HP the equipping character has over 40,000 will also increase the active character's ATK by 0.25%, up to 5% in total. Hymn of the Water Imp lasts 8s, max 3 stacks. Each stack's duration is independent of the others'. When a nearby party member triggers a Frozen or Stellar Swirl reaction, any currently active instances of Hymn of the Water Imp, as well as any instances that come into effect within the next 5s, become "Triumph of the Water Imp" instead, which further increases Max HP and ATK by 75%. The aforementioned effects can trigger even when the equipping character is not on the field.
Weapon Type Rarity ATK Substat Value Weapon Effect
Sword #1 Sword 4-Star 42.4 CRIT DMG % 12.0 (R1), In the 12s after using Elemental Skill: each time an attack hits the opponent, ATK is increased by 4% while Elemental Mastery is increased by 20 for 6s. This effect can trigger once every second, max 3 stacks. The aforementioned effect can trigger even when the equipping character is not on the field, and if the character is in the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct or Radiance: Stellar Swirl state, the buff is changed to a 6% ATK and 8%Stellar-Conduct/Stellar Swirl reaction DMG increase instead.
Sword #2 Sword 4-Star 42.4 ATK % 9.0 (R1), When using the Elemental Skill, Elemental Mastery is increased by 52 for 12s. This effect has a maximum of 2 stacks, and the duration of each stack is independent of the others.
Catalyst #1 Catalyst 4-Star 42.4 CRIT DMG % 12.0 (R1), For every Cryo character in the party, the equipping character's Elemental Mastery is increased by 24. For every Electro character in the party, ATK is increased by 4.8%. Cryo character buffs are applied first. If the equipping character is in the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct or Radiance: Stellar Swirl state, each Cryo or Electro character in the party will grant the equipping character 20 Elemental Mastery and a 6% Stellar-Conduct/Stellar Swirl reaction DMG increase. This boost can be obtained for a maximum of 4 characters in the party.
Bow #1 Bow 4-Star 42.4 CRIT Rate % 6.0 (R1), Energy Recharge is increased by 20%, and hitting the opponent with an Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst grants 1 point. This effect can trigger once every 0.03s, and when the character reaches 3 points, the entire party gains a 24% Stellar-Conduct/Stellar Swirl DMG boost for 12s. No points are granted in the 12s after this effect is triggered, and while the duration of the effect refreshes, it does not stack. The aforementioned effects can trigger even when the character is not on the field.

Are There New Artifact Sets in Genshin Impact 7.1?

7.1 will not likely release any new artifact sets as 7.0 had only just released Scarlet Proof and Heart of the Furnace. We may see new artifacts from 7.2 onwards although this is yet to be confirmed.

5.

What are the Events in 7.1 of Genshin Impact?

Genshin Impact 7.1 features 4 new events. These are:

  • "Event 1 - Unknown Name" Flagship Event
  • Intrinsic Victory Assessment
  • Carefree Big Snowball Fight
  • Starlit Festival

The minor events provide players with the same rewards as other patches including Talent Material books, Weapon Ascension Materials and Primogems.

The flagship event is expected to reward players with the new upcoming ATK% sword.

What Additions Can We Expect to See in 7.1 of Genshin Impact?

Genshin Impact 7.1 will have a range of new additions and adjustments. Currently we know of 2 new characters and a range of new weapons. There hasnt been much released about 7.1 but we arent exoecting it to be a big release due to the huge amount of content that has just come out in 7.0 with the introduction of Snezhnaya.

These may be subject to change as the next patch approaches.
