Increases the wearer's provided Shield Effect by 12.0 / 15.0 / 18.0 / 21.0 / 24.0%. While an ally target has a Shield, their DMG dealt increases by 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0 / 18.0 / 20.0%.

Journey Forever Peaceful is a 4-star light cone that provides Gepard with a stronger shield, in addition when an ally has a shield their damage dealt increases. This is a great weapon for Gepard as he shields his allies through his ultimate and it makes his overall shield stronger. Gepard doesn’t have any sort of buffing in his base kit so this provides him with being able to buff outside of that.

Moment of Victory

Increases the wearer's DEF by 24.0 / 28.0 / 32.0 / 36.0 / 40.0% and Effect Hit Rate by 24.0 / 28.0 / 32.0 / 36.0 / 40.0%. Increases the chance for the wearer to be attacked by enemies. When the wearer is attacked, increase their DEF by an extra 24.0 / 28.0 / 32.0 / 36.0 / 40.0% until the end of the wearer's turn.

This is Gepard's signature 5-star light cone which provides increased defence and Effect Hit Rate as well as an increased chance for him to be attacked by enemies. The extra EHR will help to maximise the probability of Gepard triggering freeze on an enemy.

Inherently Unjust Destiny

When the wearer provides a Shield to an ally, the wearer's CRIT DMG increases by 40.0 / 46.0 / 52.0 / 58.0 / 64.0%, lasting for 2 turn(s). When the wearer's Follow-Up ATK hits an enemy target, there is a 100 / 115.0 / 130.0 / 145.0 / 160.0% base chance to increase the DMG taken by the attacked enemy target by 10.0 / 11.5 / 13.0 / 14.5 / 16.0%, lasting for 2 turn(s).

Inherently Unjust Destiny is a 5-star light cone which provides Gepard with increased DEF by a decent amount. Aside from this Gepard doesn’t really take much from this weapon but if you don't have any other good options this will work fine.

These are the best Relic sets for Gepard.

Self-Enshrouded Recluse

2-Piece Set: The provided Shield Effect increases by 10.0%.

4-Piece Set: Increases the Shield Effect provided by the wearer by 12.0%. When an ally target holds a Shield provided by the wearer, the ally target's CRIT DMG increases by 15.0%.

This 4-piece set is Gepard's best relic set option. The 2-piece bonus increases Shield Effect, while the 4-piece bonus further enhances Shield Effect and grants allies increased CRIT DMG which Gepard applies through his Ultimate.

Knight of Purity Palace

2-Piece Set: Increases DEF by 15.0%.

4-Piece Set: Increases the max DMG that can be absorbed by the Shield created by the wearer by 20.0%.

This 4-piece set is Gepard's next best option which provides him with increased DEF by 15% as well as increasing the total amount of damage that he can absorb with his shield by 20% making him slightly stronger.

Best Planar Ornaments

Lushaka, the Sunken Seas

2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5.0%. If the wearer is not the first character in the team lineup, then increases the ATK of the first character in the team lineup by 12.0%.

Lushaka increases Gepard's Energy Regeneration by 5%, allowing him to charge his Ultimate much faster, while also boosting the ATK of the ally in the first slot by 12% as long as it isnt Gepard himself.

Penacony, Land of the Dreams

2-Piece Set: Increases wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5.0%. Increases DMG by 10.0% for all other allies that are of the same Type as the wearer.

This set will provide Gepard with an additional 5% Energy Regen Rate as well as increasing all other allies DMG by 10% that are of the same type as Gepard. Pairing him with an Ice DPS is key for using this set as otherwise you will be wasting the additional damage offered.

Gepard Build Comments

Character Overview

Gepard plays the role of a defensive tank by drawing enemy attention to himself and taking hits that would otherwise go to his allies. While taking the aggro he can provide his allies with shields through his ultimate and deal decent amounts of damage through his skill. Gepard's skill has the chance to inflict Freeze on an enemy which will cause them to take additional ice damage equal to his attack. This makes him quite flexible as not only does he increase team survivability but can also help contribute to the team's overall damage output.

When it comes to Gepard's Traces, his A2 helps in his role of drawing enemy attention to himself. His A2 increases the chances of enemies attacking him rather than his allies. On the other hand his A4 restores his energy by 100% when his talent is triggered. Rather than being knocked entirely from the battle he will instead restore his energy to max while his talent provides him with 50% HP. Lastly, Gepard's A6 increases his ATK based off 35% of his current DEF which will refresh each turn. This is great for helping to increase his team's overall attack output.

Gepard's Best Eidolons

E1 – This is most likely considered Gepard's best Eidolon as it's the most impactful. After Gepard uses his skill it increases the base chance of him inflicting Freeze on an attacked enemy by 35%. Freeze will stop an enemy from being able to act while also taking additional ice damage equal to a portion of Gepard's attack at the start of each turn.
E6 – Secondly his next best Eidolon is his E6 which allows him to take immediate action when his talent is triggered and restores his HP by 50% of his max HP. Gepard's talent will already provide him with 50% HP (at lv.10) after being triggered making him receive an additional 50% HP increase with his E6.
E2 – Lastly, Gepard's E2 decreases an enemy's speed by 20% when they become unfrozen from the frozen state that Gepard inflicts.
