En-Nah Chess Legend Event Guide for Zenless Zone Zero

This event will take place during version 2.1 of the gam, from July 28, 2025 until August 03, 2025.

During this event you will have to help Belion. It thinks it's the chosen one, and it left Suibian Temple to pursue its destiny! Prepare for some awesome Bangboo fights as you help the little one make it through its new adventures.

In order to participate you will need to reach Inter-Knot level 15 and complete Agent Story Mole in the Hole.

First you need to head to Ju Fufu in front of the Suibina Temple.

Belion mysteriously runs away from Suibian Temple, and Fufu needs help finding it! It turns out Belion is actually Bolion, and calls himself the Child of Fortune, bearing a destiny he must face. He is a bit obsessed with the Chess Legend and his quest for enlightenment.

The goal during the event is to recruit and fuse powerful Bangboos to build a lineup through activating Bangboo bonds, and defeat enemies to claim the rewards!

You will learn how to play through the Story mode of the Event, and once you are done with that, you can join online competitions through the Competitive Mode.

In order to recruit Bangboo, you need to spend Coins in the Store. The Bangboo you recruit end up in your Standby Zone. If you collect three Bangboo of the same name and Rank, (so for example if you recruit three Plugboo), you can fuse them into higher-rank Bangboo. The max rank is 3.

You earn the coins by participating in battles. Each turn will also grant you XP for the store, and you can also spend coins to level up the store. Leveling up the store allows you to deploy more Bangboo, and increases the appearance rate of rare Bangboo.

If you deploy Bangboo with matching bonds, you will activate the corresponding effects and bonuses. The more bonded Bangboos you deploy, the more power you will get.

Each Bangboo can be a different rank between S and C rank. They all have different stats and skill effects. Each of them also has two different Bonds. The more bangboo you deploy with the same bonds, the higher the bonus power will be!

Each Bangboo has a specific attack trait. Depending on their traits, you can drag the Bangboo and place it accordingly on the battlefield. Once places, they will automatically attack on their own.

You can pick the Recommended Lineup button to check out some powerful lineups specially prepared for you by Belion.

Once you selected a recommended lineup, you will see the thumbs-up icon on the recommended Bangboo in the shop. You can change the lineup at any time by clicking on the ton-left button during a fight.

We recommend you select the following recommended lineups, as they work pretty much for any stage:

• Nutty: It is very easy to build and level, as the Bagnboo in this lineup are low-rank. Rocketboo is your main DPS, so get him as early as possible. Butler will boost your team's survivability, so try to get him early as well.
• Good Samaritan: This one is another good lineup. It focuses on the Devilboo summons and strong support abilities with Avocaboo and Butler. The build difficulty is not too high either. It is a good middle-ground between build difficulty and power.
• Troublemaker: This one is harder to build, but it is very powerful. You can take advantage of the Troublemaker power to get new Bangboo with similar bonds as the deployed ones.

In order to win, you need to defeat all the enemy Bangboo once the countdown is over. If the time is over and both sides have the same amount of Bangboo left, the player with the highest HP percentage left wins. At the end of each turn, the losing side will lose a certain amount of health. If your HP reaches zero, you lost.

On top of that the event will also reward you with a new Title and Bangboo wallpaper.
