1. Gems↑top

As an Arms Warrior, it is important to obtain the Hit and Expertise soft caps (of 7.5%). However, given a reasonable gear level, both these caps are attainable without the need to gem for them (simply through innate stats and reforging), so we do not mention these gems in the table below (with the exception of hybrid Hit Rating gems, which are recommended).

Sockets Gems
Meta Socket Reverberating Primal Diamond Icon Reverberating Primal Diamond or Capacitive Primal Diamond Icon Capacitive Primal Diamond (better)

During the encounter, your best choice for a potion will be Potion of Mogu Power Icon Potion of Mogu Power.

4. Summing-up Profession Perks↑top

Choosing a profession for your Arms Warrior can impact your raid performance. As a rule, you should shy away from gathering professions (with the exception of Herbalism), which leaves the following viable professions for raiding:

Profession Perks
Tailoring Provides +1000 Attack Power in average through Swordguard Embroidery Icon Swordguard Embroidery, instead of +180 Critical Strike from Enchant Cloak - Superior Critical Strike Icon Enchant Cloak - Superior Critical Strike and +180 Hit from Enchant Cloak - Accuracy Icon Enchant Cloak - Accuracy.
Blacksmithing Provides a 640 Critical Strike Rating gain through two extra sockets, Socket Bracer Icon Socket Bracer and Socket Gloves Icon Socket Gloves, in which you can fit 2 Smooth Sun's Radiance Icon Smooth Sun's Radiance.
Jewelcrafting Provides a 320 Strength gain through the ability of using 2 Bold Serpent's Eye Icon Bold Serpent's Eye.
Alchemy Provides an 320 Strength gain to your flask through Mixology Icon Mixology.
Enchanting Provides a 320 Strength gain through Enchant Ring - Greater Strength Icon Enchant Ring - Greater Strength.

Leatherworking Provides an 320 Strength gain through Fur Lining - Strength Icon Fur Lining - Strength. Also provides Draconic Leg Reinforcements Icon Draconic Leg Reinforcements, a much cheaper equivalent to Angerhide Leg Armor Icon Angerhide Leg Armor, the traditional leg enchant.
Herbalism Provides a 480 Haste Rating gain in average through Lifeblood Icon Lifeblood.

Blacksmithing and Engineering is currently the best profession combination for Arms Warriors. Blacksmithing provides a Critical Strike Rating or Haste Rating increase higher than that offered by any other profession.

Engineering should be your second profession, as it provides you with Synapse Springs Icon Synapse Springs, which you can line up with Colossus Smash Icon Colossus Smash, and with other cooldowns.
