Lore

Your first foe in the heavyweight division is the merciless man-eater Vamp Fatale. A sadistic fighter who harnesses the soul of the desmodont, she sucks the life out of her enemies and adorns her ring with apparatuses designed to torture and maim. Will the unenhanced warrior survive the deadly dominatrix's chamber of horrors and emerge triumphant─or will they be crushed under heel?

4.

Raid Guide

Vamp Fatale is fought on a square arena with four rows and four columns. Players can fall off the edge. At certain points in the fight the arena will be destroyed and repaired.

4.1.

Phase One

You fight Vamp Fatale and the Coffinmaker add in phase one.

4.2.

Phase One Mechanics

Vamp Fatale has the following mechanics in phase one.

  • Killer Voice: Raidwide magic damage.
  • Half Moon: Cleaves half of the arena, then the other half. Look where the orb is being kicked to dodge the first one.
  • Vamp Stomp: A point-blank AoE that summons that summon bats on the arena. The AoE sends out a shockwave that will trigger a circle AoE on any bat it collides with.
  • Hardcore: Magical AoE tank buster on both tanks.
  • Sadistic Screech: Raidwide magic damage. Removes the outer two columns of the arena and summons the Coffinmaker add at the north edge of the arena.
  • Coffinfiller: Line AoEs that hits two columns at once.
  • Flaying Fry: Cast by Vamp Fatale. All players received a marked AoE.
  • Dead Wake: An AoE on the front row. The Coffinmaker advances forward one row.
  • Penetrating Pitch: Stack markers on both healers. These inflict a magic vuln debuff.
  • Crowd Kill: Raidwide magic damage. Vamp Fatale gains a stack of Satisfied.
4.3.

Phase One Strategy

  • The fight begins with a raidwide into Half Moon. The safe side is the half of the arena she isn't kicking the orb into, but be prepared to immediately run across to the initial unsafe side to dodge the second cleave.
  • Dodge the AoE from Vamp Stomp and look where the bats are spawning at the same time. Stay in the middle and move to where bats didn't spawn, then mitigate the tank busters.
  • Stay near the middle and get ready for the add to spawn. For the initial wave, dodge the line AoEs and spread out for Flaying Fry.
  • The next mechanic after another set of line AoEs will be Penetrating Pitch. As a healer, watch where the other one is and spread pre-emptively to prevent panic.
  • Finally, the last mechanic after a final set of line AoEs will be two sets of Half Moon from Vamp Fatale, who appears at the rear of the arena. Once the Coffinmaker is dead you are able to target her.
  • Sadistic Screech will return the arena back to normal. She will use three different raidwides, and begins her second phase with new mechanics.
4.4.

Phase Two

You will fight Vamp Fatale in the second phase.

4.5.

Phase Two Mechanics

Vamp Fatale introduces or changes the following mechanics in phase two.

  • Finale Fatale: Raidwide magic damage. Spawns AoEs on the ground.
  • Aetherletting: Marked AoEs on four players. These spawn plus-shaped or X-shaped marks on the ground which explode in line AoEs.
  • Brutal Rain: Multi-hit stack marker on a healer.
  • Insatiable Thirst: Raidwide magic damage. Her orb increases in size.
  • Plummet: Two towers spawn. These must be soaked by one player and spawns a Fatal Flail add.
  • Barbed Burst: Cast by the Fatal Flail add. Explodes if not killed before the cast finishes.
  • Half Moon: Increases the size of the cleave once her orb size increase.
4.6.

Phase Two Strategy

  • The players marked with Aetherletting should try and place them at the edge of the arena if ranged to dodge the line AoEs easier. Be careful not to stand in a ground AoE. This will happen twice in a row.
  • Brutal Rain comes shortly after, so mitigate and heal through.
  • After Sadistic Screech, the arena will become thin again. This time, she spawns chakrams on the outer edges that circle the arena or slice through. Getting hit will inflict a damage-over-time debuff for a short duration.
  • Two players need to carefully make their way to the towers that spawn while avoiding the chakrams. Kill the Fated Flail adds that spawn before they finish their cast. Vamp Fatale will cast raidwides during this time.
  • Afterwards, she casts Sadistic Screech and the arena returns to normal.
  • Her next cast is Crowd Kill, dealing damage and once again increasing the size of her orb.
  • This increases the size of her basic abilities, including Half Moon and Hardcore
  • At this point, she begins repeating mechanics seen previously starting from Finale Fatale.
