Monk Action Changes in Dawntrail

Listed below are all changes to Monk across the major patches of the Dawntrail expansion.

7.3 Changes

Tornado Kick Icon Tornado Kick Weaponskill Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 40% to 35%.
Elixir Field Icon Elixir Field Weaponskill Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 40% to 35%.
Flint Strike Icon Flint Strike Weaponskill Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 40% to 35%.
Rising Phoenix Icon Rising Phoenix Weaponskill Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 40% to 35%.

Elixir Field Icon Elixir Field Weaponskill Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 70% to 40%.
Flint Strike Icon Flint Strike Weaponskill Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 70% to 40%.
Enlightenment Icon Enlightenment Ability Potency has been reduced from 200 to 160.
Rising Phoenix Icon Rising Phoenix Weaponskill Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 70% to 40%.
Phantom Rush Icon Phantom Rush Weaponskill Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 50% to 40%.
Elixir Burst Icon Elixir Burst Weaponskill Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 70% to 40%.
Wind's Reply Icon Wind's Reply Weaponskill Potency has been increased from 900 to 1,040. Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 50% to 40%.
Fire's Reply Icon Fire's Reply Weaponskill Potency has been increased from 1,200 to 1,400. Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 50% to 40%.

7.0 Changes

Skill Name Category Changes
Brotherhood Icon Brotherhood Ability Duration increased from 15 seconds to 20 seconds. Allows the stacking of up to 10 chakra.
Dragon Kick Icon Dragon Kick Weaponskill No longer grants Leaden Fist. Grants a stack of Opo-Opo's fury.
Leaping Opo Weaponskill (NEW!) Upgraded from Bootshine Icon Bootshine. Potency changed to 360. Consumes a stack of Opo-opo's Fury to increase potency to 460.
Twin Snakes Icon Twin Snakes Weaponskill No longer grants the Disciplined Fist buff. Potency changed to 380. Grants 2 stacks of Raptor's Fury.
Rising Raptor Weaponskill (NEW!) Upgraded from True Strike Icon True Strike. Potency changed to 380. Consumes a stack of Raptor's Fury to increase potency to 480.
Demolish Icon Demolish Weaponskill No longer applies the Demolish debuff. Potency changed to 340/400 from the rear. Grants 3 stacks of Coeurl's Fury.
Pouncing Coeurl Weaponskill (NEW!) Upgraded from Snap Punch Icon Snap Punch. Potency changed to 340/400 from the rear. Consumes a stack of Coeurl's Fury to increase potency to 500.
Four-point Fury Icon Four-point Fury Weaponskill No longer grants the Disciplined Fist buff.
Rising Phoenix Icon Rising Phoenix Weaponskill Potency changed to 900.
Elixir Burst Weaponskill (NEW!) Upgraded from Elixir Field Icon Elixir Field. Potency changed to 900.
Phantom Rush Icon Phantom Rush Weaponskill Potency changed to 1400.
Riddle of Fire Icon Riddle of Fire Ability Grants Fire's Rumination for 20 seconds.
Fire's Reply Weaponskill (NEW!) Can only be used when under the effect of Fire's Rumination. Deals 1300 potency in an AoE around the target, with any additional targets taking 50% reduced damage. Grants Formless Fist.
Riddle of Wind Icon Riddle of Wind Ability Grants Wind's Rumination for 15 seconds.
Wind's Reply Weaponskill (NEW!) Can only be used when under the effect of Wind's Rumination. Deals 900 potency to all enemies in a straight line.
Riddle of Earth Icon Riddle of Earth Ability Grants Earth's Rumination for 30 seconds.
Earth's Reply Weaponskill (NEW!) Can only be used when under the effect of Earth's Rumination. Restores HP of the user and nearby party members by 300, or 500 if under the effect of Earth's Resolve.
Six-sided Star Icon Six-sided Star Weaponskill Potency changed to 780. Potency increased by 80 for each stack of chakra opened. Consumes all stacks of chakra upon use. This weaponskill no longer generates chakra if it crits.
