Okay, I checked and it turns out that the forum editor corrupts the code :(

I fixed it but you still have to remove the last space that editor adds after the string (it should finish with ==)

This is what you get after the Import:

Remove this line and you'll get this:

Hi Pandacho! Thank you for this guide, btw!
So I tried following it step by step but... yeah- there are a WHOLE lot more changes with a ton of options! For example, in the NamePlates that are specific boxes now. There arent any targetplayer nameplates?
I really like where you got to at the end with the boxes with life bars and the minimalist sort but I cant figure out how to get it to that?

Also, the Toggleanchors are way more involved with a lot more boxes. I know there is a lot to customize but I really want to figure out how to simplify it like yours for just healing? They all show or need to be there somehow, but your unitframes are a quarter of what mine are.

this is what in the end mine is:

Hello!

1. Regarding targetplayer nameplates: you are mixing 2 different things. There is a NamePlates function that shows you some info near a name of a player/NPC (you can enable/disable it with Ctrl+V) and there are UnitFrames - Player Frame, Target Frame, Target of Target Frame are the parts of it.

To make it easier to understand, check the screenshot:

1.png

2. In Toggle Anchors you don't have to customize anything - it's just a field where you drag different parts of your ElvUI frames if you want them in some other places than the default. The Anchors only show your all the possible frames but it doesn't mean that you use all of them.

What frames to use you choose with Enable/Disable button in the main Config window left menu.

This may sound weird, but I use 2 different profiles for when I play pve and pvp. I'm having a problem keeping my spells in the same spots after switching profiles. I will set up one profile, then switch to the other and the abilities have shifted and are not like I left them before switching. Is there anyway to fix this?

Hey Pandacho.

First of all i really appreciate your guide - amazing how easy i got to navigate though ElvUI after reading your guide, thanks alot.

Now, to my question - Well, i've been using the addon VuhDo alot (even before ElvUI) and i've grown quite attached to it. So i've been wondering about if the setup you use (the healer one you've exported) is compatible with this VuhDo (mostly about having the groups inbetween  the actionbars)?

And btw, is there a setup you can recommend while using ElvUI and VuhDo, or a fellew WoW profesional that is using those combined you can redirect me to? (because right now, my groups is just floating around the screen - haven't find the perfect spot yet, while using ElvUI).

Thanks alot ^^

It is VuhDo - the frames you see between the Action Bars :)

You can check my VuhDo setups in this guide and there's a video in the end how it looks in raid.

Hello! I really love ElvUI so thx alot for updating it!

I installed it like 20 min before raid and when the first boss was pulled the whole UI disapeared, like when you do Alt+z and when I pushed esc the UI came back for a millisec then disapeared again, I unchecked Elvui and it was back to normal, but I still wanna use Elvui, so how do I fix this?

That sounds very odd, I've never had this happen to me.  You might try re-installing ElvUI.  Is it only in combat that your UI disappears?  Only against bosses or in raids?

Did you download the latest version yet (10.28)?

Anyways, I will look into this in the evening because after the latest Blizz changes in 7.1 it may be necessary to upload new profiles.

I recently switched to Elvui and cannot for the life of me figure out how to disable the Elvui range check so I can use the DBM range check that has the nice visual of where people are in range of me. This is extra annoying for the Il'gynoth fight. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not sure what you are talking about, may you share a screenshot please?

All the addons visuals for the range check were disabled in 7.1.

How do you mean 'ingame'? You can't see ElvUI on the loading screen/addons list (before you choose a toon and enter the game)

1.png

or you can't see ElvUI line here:

1. You can't see it in the list and it doesn't work in game or you didn't check after loading?

2. Did you scrolled to the end - it's not after 'D' but after 'W'?

3. Did you download the last version (10.29)?

I'm having an issue with the raid debuff tooltips on the raid frames. It's a huge pain as you can't clique/mouseover heal over them. Is there any way to turn off these tooltips? Or do I have to go back to Grid? (I hate vuhdo sorry).

I have only 1 addon in my addon list. Its Bagnon and only Bagnon is in the list. Also I did download the latest version 10.29

Can you please post a screen of your Addon folder in the File Explorer because I can't imagine why wouldn't you see the addon if you unpacked it there?

UnitFrames->Raid Frames->untick 'Enable' in Debuffs in the dropdown menu on the right side.

Or, if you do want to see them, check 'Click Through' option (near 'Count Font Size').

Well, looks like a bug.

The only thing I can suggest here is to delete or move away WTF and Cache folders and ElvUI from the Addons folder, then download and reinstall it.

If it wouldn't help too, open a ticket at the project page

Blizzard went into upcoming changes to Mistweaver Monks for 10.2, as they address player feedback and present what their plans for the spec are. They dive into the new tier set, Expel Harm specifically, as well as passive defensives foe the spec.
      Mistweaver (Source)
      Hello Mistweavers!
We have a few updates planned for Guardians of the Dream and we’d like to share some of our thoughts here.
      Defensiveness and Healing Elixir Updates
Mistweaver is squishier than we would like, particularly for a primarily melee-based healer, and its defensive toolkit is based mainly around active spell use. We don’t feel it’s appropriate to ask Mistweavers to actively manage nearly every part of their defensive kit to play at the highest level, so we want to explore passivity for Healing Elixir.
We also agree there is room for improvement with the current updated passive design and players can expect updates in upcoming PTR builds that are intended to provide value while the low health effect is not needed.
This passive update also gives us room to make modifications without straining key binding space to a certain personal defensive element of Mistweaver’s toolkit that is currently out of use – namely Expel Harm.
      Expel Harm
Several changes to Expel Harm have been made to increase its viability for Mistweaver and fully integrate it into the kit. This isn’t an off-global option like Healing Elixir was, so it can instead be much more impactful while reducing the total APM required to play Mistweaver optimally in tense moments. This is a bit of a trade off, but we’re hoping the overall feel is like Healing Elixir but punchier. Additionally, the Soothing Mist functionality for Expel Harm will be removed to avoid having to tune around healing allies.
We also think this may help the class talent tree feel more satisfying to path through, as Expel Harm talents will be more of an enticing option. Hopefully these updates in totality will help Mistweaver defensively while making it more satisfying and approachable.
Guardians of the Dream Tier Set
We’re aware of several functionality issues including some healing spells not being counted towards its accumulation. All healing (aside from other accumulators such as Chi Harmony itself and Lesson of Anger) is intended to contribute to the final healing. We’re looking to address this in future PTR builds.
Thank you and we look forward to your continued feedback!

Blizzard has responded to feedback regarding trinkets coming in Dragonflight Season 3, announcing changes coming to both Nymue's Unraveling Spindle and Rashok's Molten Heart.
      Nymue's Unraveling Spindle
      (Source)
Bottom line feedback for me is that this trinket does not feel fun to play with in its current state and feels like a bad damage trinket with a lackluster Mastery buff
Thanks for the feedback and testing data. There are several changes in the next build:
Channel reduced to 3 sec with corresponding adjustments to damage and Mastery values Mastery buff duration increased to 18 sec Mastery increased by ~40% even after the duration and channel changes; the current value on the PTR is essentially a bug related to accounting for lost rotation time Damage per sec channeled has also been increased to a lesser extent Bonus damage to rooted targets increased to 50% Rashok's Molten Heart
      (Source)
There seems to be a lack of good healing trinkets this raid tier. We might still be rocking the Rashok’s trinket for a while.
Healing trinkets will be seeing tuning adjustments in coming weeks.
Rashok’s Molten Heart has provided more power than we would have liked and will require some changes beyond the mana restore reduction.

Items will have tooltips that indicate from which season they are in Patch 10.2.
For example the following Kinslayer's Vest now shows the item is from Dragonflight Season 2 with an Upgrade Level: Champion 3/8, as you can see below.

    • By Stan
The Ember Court will be available every day instead of once per week in Patch 10.2.
A small change in the garrtalent database entry suggests the Ember Court from Shadowlands will be available daily as opposed to once per week in the forthcoming update.

Crimson Glimmerfur is a new mount coming to the Trading Post in Patch 10.2!
The fox mount mentions Great Father Winter, so we assume it will be available before December.
      Crimson Glimmerfur
"One of Great Father Winter's favorite creatures."
