Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I'm looking forward to Legion, the changes so far seem great, can't wait for the artifact weapons .My main character is a warlock, so seeing him wielding the scythe artifact weapon is gonna be awesome. Although, not so happy about taking metamorphosis from demonology spec, but still curious about how demonology will be played.

I really am excited for Legion. Warlords was great for the first month, but really did not having any staying power. I like that they are looking to revamp some of the open world and smaller group content as I think that will help increase the longevity of the content. I think I am most excited for the focus on class fantasy for Legion. I am someone who has always bounced between numerous alts but has always longed for having a single main. I hope that this focus on class fantasy will help me find that class that really fits me so that I can enjoy it for the entirety of legion!

The one thing I'm looking forward to most out of everything coming out of Legion is the new Protection Paladin, which I intend on learning everything about, as it is my main. I'm also looking forward all of the other tanking classes to see if I find one more fun this time around and want to swap mains.

I'm also a mog-aholic and I'm really, really looking forward to the new wardrobe system. Lots of cool stuff ahead if you asked me.

I'm really excited to see how Legion ends up! In WoD I've been improving myself a lot, which means I'm looking to get into higher and higher levels of raiding, so I'm looking forward to what Legion will bring (beside a boss where we get to eat cake!).

My history in WoW is a short one, only starting at the end of Cataclysm, and only actually investing time into improving myself so that I could get somewhere with raiding in WoD, with a lot of bad guild-luck (4 disbands, 1 guild 'on break until Legion'...), but I still love the game and I hope Legion will be the expansion where I get to be in a more stable environment.

Hi there !

So to me, i can't wait to test the new mage abilites and see his artifact (which is so cool !). The wardrobe system and new defi upcoming.

My best memories was in my guild before we're separate, we knew each other 3-4 years and we organize IRL birthday together, that was so cool. Now we still be friends but not everyone is playing. But to me, the most important memories was raiding and laughing together in raid when MoP was the expansion. We had a really great times and we miss them sometimes.

I started playing in 2007 and am currently on break from WoW. I love the game, just waiting for Legion. I've met a lot of awesome people playing the game, that's one of the main reasons I keep coming back.

It's not a very big change but the thing I'm looking forward to the most is the updated combat animations. A little change that will make the combat a lot more engaging

I am actually excited about leveling in the new zones, experiencing the new dungeons and the artifact/relic system looks like so much fun to play around with. Of course top level content raiding will be great. I will be leveling my disc priest first. I am a bit scared that Fortitude is gone! Power Word Radiance and Contrition looks like fun! I am hoping SPriests are looked after a little better so I don't have to Disc/Holy. I have already pre-ordered Legion when it was first announced and am saving my 110 boost for a Demon Hunter, perhaps wink.png

I used to play back in Burning Crusade and I loved every minute of it. I was pretty young so I don't remember everything I did. I came back at the beginning of wod and I would have to say that my fondest moment would have to be when I joined Sparty's stream guild Zeroes to Heroes. This has been a great time for me while playing wow and I am super stoked for Legion Holy Pally! Looking forward to smashing the new raids and some pvp action.

I'm definitely looking forward to some storylines being continued like with Alleria and Turalyon, Wrathion, and hopefully something about Neptulon. Some of my fondest memories come from Wrath's Naxxramas. It's the first time I ever got to be main tank in a progression group.

i pretty much feel like Legion will do so many good things from what i have seen. The artifacts all look amazing, the dungeons look diverse especially with mechanics. i hope that legion does not suffer the same fate as WoD but i would still play it if it did.

As someone who has always been very competitive as far as end game raiding goes, it will be interesting to see how raiding evolves in Legion.

I'm also looking forward to melee hunters once again! This is particularly close to home because I currently play a marks hunter, though I've always enjoyed all aspects about the class.

For me, personally, there is a lot of reason to be excited about.

I think artifacts are such a wonderful addition because it doesn't really feel like a weapon, it feels like an extension of your character itself. The fact that they have such icon looks and customization, makes them even cooler.

I also look forward to exploring the world in general, Suramar city will look amazing, I really can't wait to see it for myself and discover this amazing night elven city, even though I'm horde, hurray we are finally getting some night elve love, they've been neglected for so long.

Other than that, both the PvE and PvP changes look good, they finally listened to everyone, they are really trying to make both aspects competitive again and providing depth and content in both areas without neglecting the other.

I am so hyped for Legion. It is bringing back the glory days of WoW, with hard dungeons, legiondaries, artifact weapons, class halls. I see so much content in Legion and i see it is really bringing back the glory days of wow.

I know this has been discussed to death but I do feel that fast leveling is bad for wow, I really hope blizzard slows down leveling for Legion and gives us more reasons to level alts, but I am getting excited.

I hope to test legion and make it great, I am a old school WoW players and I am very excited!

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
