A new epic Kobold minion has been uncovered.

Italian streamer JackTorrance90 made this reveal. Without further ado, here is Rummaging Kobold:

Screencap from the stream

It is hard to evaluate this card before actually seeing it in action, as is the case with most of the pre-expansion reveals. I'd expect players to experiment with this card during the first weeks of the new expansion.

The obvious first point to be made is Rummaging Kobold's synergy with the new Legendary weapons this expansion will bring. People are expecting Harrison Jones, Acidic Swamp Ooze and Gluttonous Ooze to be run a lot in the new meta and this card ensures that you get a second chance with your legendary weapon. What if your opponent doesn't run these tech cards, though? Some of the revealed legendary weapons do not lose durability, making Rummaging Kobold not that useful.

Apart from decks containing legendary weapons, this card can also be useful for the traditional weapon classes of Hearthstone. Paladin and Warrior look like they can benefit more from it, whereas Rogue is probably the weakest of the bunch given that Rummaging Kobold can return a Wicked Knife. Perhaps an interesting combination could be created with Rummaging Kobold and Doomerang.

We have already had another reveal today and we are expecting another three now. We'll return soon with another article; until then, you can check out the reveal schedule as well as our Kobolds & Catacombs hub.

I think this card will be very strong if it ends up being a control meta. Almost everyone would be playing some sort of weapon removal if that was the case, and the value that some of these legendary weapons have is enormous. I could honestly see Warrior, hunter, and paladin playing this even without a legendary weapon. It seems strong, but only in a control meta.

The real question is, if you use all the charges on a weapon, is that weapon "destroyed"?  Obviously works with oozes, and I assume it would work with reducing a weapons durability to 0, but I am not 100% sure.  Also, Atiesh is only a 3 mana weapon.  Have fun with that.  Overall, I am not sure how many legendary weapons will want this, the mage one seems the strongest, and it will be played in a tempo oriented sort of deck, and I don't know if you want to play such a low impact card + the legendary weapon a second time, especially when playing it once will probably be enough to seal the game, especially if it gets more then a single activation.  The druid legendary weapon only wants to be used once as well, since it takes so much work (5 turns) to get use out of it.  The rest are pretty unimpressive.  I could see this card in paladin and classes that run mediv.  Probably in nothing else though.

Yep. Grave Shambler gets buffed when you use up a weapon. When a weapon uses all durability, it is destroyed.

Today's Hearthside Chat shed some light on Puzzle Labs, the new single player content for The Boomsday Project releasing on August 21st. We already knew that Lethal, Mirror, Board Clear, and Survival were going to be the 4 puzzle types, but developers Giovanni Scarpati and Max Ma helped reveal the Puzzle Lab menus and UI, as well as some of the backstory on how Puzlle Labs came to be. Watch the video below to get a sneak peek of Puzzle Labs in action:

The latest Hearthstone community contribution allows you to train the skills needed to master Combo Priest: quick thinking, fast mouse movements, strategic decisions and on-the-spot calculations. What's more to ask?!
Combo or OTK or APM Priest is a reiteration of Combo and Vivid Nightmare Priest that was born with The Boomsday Project thanks to two cards: Topsy Turvy and Test Subject. Dog is credited as the creator and true master of the deck:
Many have subsequently tried and failed to pilot the deck, which can require almost 100 moves during the 75 seconds of a single turn. Pro players like Trump and Thijs have hilariously failed, while others like Disguised Toast and Kolento kept trying until they got the hang of it.
Right now, you might be dreading that you don't have the IQ to play this deck. Fear no more: everything can be practiced and Patashu has made the tool for it! Combo Priest Simulator allows you to practice the OTK combo on your browser, while also timing you. You can change the parameters of the starting gamestate, too.
In all seriousness, the deck's winrate is below average and it's honestly too much trouble for too little gain. Then again, slamming your opponent's face for 100+ damage is quite satisfactory. It would be awesome if someone was brave enough to bring this deck at a tournament: it would be the casters' nightmare!
Apart from Combo Priest Simulator, we have a guide for Topsy Turvy OTK Priest here on Icy Veins; the guide breaks down the necessary steps of the combo in a useful priority list. Alternatively, you can listen to Aleco trying to explain how the deck works to Patrick (and actually succeeding) in the latest Icy Veins Podcast!
