Holy Wrath Paladin

Recommended Posts

It's not often that I disagree with the strats presented here, but you can definitely go for a "budget-friendly" version of this deck by cutting out Uther of the Ebon BladeLynessa Sunsorrow and Bloodmage Thalnos. This is the list I'm using right now if you want to try it out, and it's efficient with a single legendary and three epics:

Shirvallahdin

# 2x (2) Baleful Banker
# 2x (2) Equality
# 2x (2) Flash of Light
# 2x (2) Loot Hoarder
# 2x (2) Potion of Heroism
# 2x (2) Wild Pyromancer
# 2x (3) Acolyte of Pain
# 1x (3) Augmented Elekk
# 2x (3) Stonehill Defender
# 2x (3) Time Out!
# 2x (4) Consecration
# 2x (4) Hammer of Wrath
# 2x (4) Lifedrinker
# 2x (4) Truesilver Champion
# 2x (5) Holy Wrath
# 1x (25) Shirvallah, the Tiger

(Deck string: AAECAZ8FAvWAA72GAw76AfsBswPcA/QFzwb2B/sMm8IC7dIC7/ECp/cCz4YD7IYDAA==)

I'll definitely agree that this version is less efficient than the full one (Lynessa calling back 2 Spikeridged Steed  and Potion of Heroism is one hell of a power turn), but it is still good enough to get familiar with the deck and start climbing. Even ignoring my initial 15-4, I'm now standing at rank 4 and a further 32-27 W/L. Which is not stellar but definitely good enough. (And it is the fastest I ever reached rank 5 with, too.)
