The main antagonist of Shadowlands. His model looks somewhat different from what we saw at BlizzCon and is closer to the unveiled concept art. Note that the Jailer's model is huge, so he's not your usual NPC.

Wait, does that mean Kel'Thuzad is really dead? I know we didn't find his phylactery last time but I thought that meant that he was recuperating somewhere.

we knew for quite some time that his soul was lost somewhere in the shadowlands from the WoW chronicle vol. 3 iirc

I don't even care if this was just a little easter egg side quest but it'd be cool to find Grom and Garrosh fighting side by side out there ?

On that note have they yet explained what determines whether a character would be found out there or not?

Here's a preview of the new Druid dreamsaber customization options coming in the Guardians of the Dream update.
Druids can take on the form of dreamsabers in Patch 10.2. The model is identical to the dreamsaber mounts we previewed earlier minus the saddle.
The customization option comes in four different tints:
      Blue

      Green

      Purple

      Yellow

In Patch 10.2, you can unlock additional visual effects for certain Amirdrassil Tier Sets.
We assume this will work just like Dragonflight Season 2 Hero where you had to earn one of the following achievements to receive the item:
Mythic: Scalecommander Sarkareth Dragonflight Keystone Hero: Season Two Elite: Dragonflight Season 2 For Season 3, you should earn Emerald Blossom Dreamstone upon completing one of the listed achievements:
Mythic: Fyrakk the Blazing - Defeat Fyrakk the Blazing in Amirdrassil on Mythic Difficulty. Dragonflight Keystone Hero: Season Three Attain a Mythic Rating of at least 2500 during Dragonflight Season 3. Elite: Dragonflight Season 3 - Earn the rank Elite during Dragonflight Season 3. Once you obtain Emerald Blossom Dreamstone, the unlock will be account-wide.
Dragonflight Season 3 Master is also returning in Guardians of the Dream, awarding players with 1 Heroic Tier Set piece from Amirdrassil. You will find more details here.

If you played through Dawn of the Infinite, you've most likely seen the end cinematic with Iridikron, but the community has spotted another familiar face in there. The following post contains spoilers.
After briefly talking to Chromie about the titans, Iridikron with the Essence of Galakrond opens a void portal to an unknown location.
Whilst Iridikron is entering the portal, we briefly catch a glimpse of an Elven silhouette very similar to that of Xal'atath, as you can see below.

This looks like Blizzard is setting us up for a void-themed expansion using Iridikron as a bridge between expansions (similar to Gul'dan) with Xal'atath playing an unknown role as well.
If you played in Legion and Battle for Azeroth, you've most likely remember Xal'atath as a sentient entity tied to the Priest Artifact Weapon.
In case you've missed the cinematic we're talking about here, check out the following video to refresh your memory.
Do you think Blizzard will reveal a void-themed expansion at BlizzCon? Let us know in the comments!

The latest Patch 10.2 PTR build includes a Candied Blade that will be available in the Trading Post later this year.
Candied Blade is a One-Hand Sword cosmetic that will be on the Trading Post rotation likely during December, because it's Winter Veil themed and comes with the following flavor text:
      "Victory never tasted so sweet."

The item will cost 600 Trader's Tender.

The Turbulent Timeways event consisting of 5 weeks of Timewalking returns on September 26. This time, you can unlock a mount after completing the event's meta-achievement.
      Turbulent Timeways Schedule
According to the in-game calendar on live servers, the event will start on September 26 and end on October 30.

      Turbulent Timeways Rewards

A new meta-achievement for the Timewalking event has been added called Master of the Troubled Timeways. The tooltip reads:
"Gain Mastery of Timeways for 5 consecutive weeks during the Turbulent Timeways event."
Completing consecutive Timewalking dungeons rewards Distilled Knowledge of Timeways, increasing XP gained from killing monsters and completing quests.
When you earn 4 applications, you will receive  Mastery of Timeways that increases XP gains from monster kills and quest completion by 30%.
For the meta-achievement you must gain Mastery of Timeways for 5 consecutive weeks to receive the Sandy Shalewing mount.
